Great place for 2nd lunch. Super quaint view of Montmarte hustle and bustle. Service was friendly

The oodles of notes!

It's right in the middle of the Montmartre tourist streets and hard to miss, but they make no attempt at luring you in with an "auhentic Parisian ambience" or a pretty facade. The walls outside are peeling and the walls and ceilings inside are absolutely covered in notes, photos and drawings that have been stapled in place by visitors. The feel is grungy and cozy. They sadly don't serve galette, but their savoury crêpes are still very tasty. These are not subtle taste experiences, they're heavy on the cheese and heavy on the ham, and they hit the spot. We did not try the sweet ones this time around, sadly. The main issue is that it can be quite a wait to get service, but hanging out in a charming street in Montmartre and people-watching kept me occupied so I didn't mind too much. Recommended!

Our note on the wall!

When we went to Montmartre and come close to this place, our men were drawn in by the smell alone! They were completely convinst that this was the place to go for a yummy lunch. And boy were they right! They offer menu's from +-9euro to about +-13 euro. They have salt crêpes and sweet crêpes and amazing onionsoup. The salt crêpe with cheese, egg and ham, had my name written on it! And I was not disappointed, not one bit. And the super fun part is that you see them make your crêpe right in front of you. No funny business, just straight to the point good food! The decoration, is just amazing! Every single piece of the wall and ceiling are covered in little papers, cards, pictures and drawings, made by visitors. It goes all the way up to the lavatories upstairs (these are the bare minimum, but who cares when the food is amazing and the vibe is super cosy!). I adored it here and if we were to go back there, it would definitly be on the "to do list"! Keep it up guys!

IF this restaurant was a person it would say, "whatever". The inside is interestingly decorated with bank notes, pictures, letters from around the world. I heard from the other review that Anthony Bourdain featured this some time ago. Truth be told, the crepes taste like crepes from everywhere else. I just love the quirkiness of this joint we had stumbled upon on the way up the Sacre Coeur.

This place has one of the best onion soups I've ever had, no joke.

Extremely disappointed in this cafe. I went this afternoon at around 1 pm on March 23, 2022 and…read morefound a seat with ease. It was very busy and I asked the waitress if she was the only one waiting, trying to be compassionate in what I thought was a diffiicult situation, but she must have took it or me a foreigner who doesn't have the best grasp of French as an insult. My food came, but my drinks didn't come. I was quite thirsty and it's terrible service to have food without drinks. I finally got some cidre, but I asked four times for water before she brought me any. She kept cleaning tables in front of me and refusing to serve me. She didn't "forget" the water, she was somehow offended or just being nasty. I say this because there was no one else there at the time (the crowd that had been there earlier had left), so she was NOT too busy to bring it. A little while later a French woman and her daughter sat next to me and ordered. She immediately brought them their drinks all at once, a minute after they ordered. You can fire both of the women working there today with my pleasure. She was small and plump with grey skin black straight hair and a mole and plump. Her counterpart was Asian. I will never set foot in this establishment again. She looked down and smiled and laughed when I paid. I said nothing because I knew the mean behavior was purposeful. It was like being in the presence of a couple of those Orangutans who spend most of their days being mean to other Orangutans, a sad way to live.

This was the the best Crêperie I have ever been to in my life. Kid you not. I had a crêpe with…read morecamembert, emmenthal and tomatoes. I wish I had added an egg as well. My kids loved their selections and for dessert we all had variations of Nutella Crêpes. Amazing especially after a visit to Montmarte, my favorite church in Paris.
