I recently changed health insurance companies, so I needed to look for another therapist. I…read morecontacted this office and they set up an appointment for an evaluation. The social worker was late for the telehealth meeting and they sent me different zoom links. I was finally able get in the video call, but it was a repeat of the same questions I had already answered. My insurance paid for that psychiatric assessment (close to 600 dollars), but I was still on the hook for a 140-dollar copay. I asked for a copy of the assessment and it was riddled with spelling mistakes, inaccuracies, including my orientation. The most egregious error - and insulting statement - was that I was of "average intelligence" - not sure who they are talking to who has high intelligence; it must be a genius because I am a college professor with a doctoral degree. I have asked them to delete my profile and destroy the assessment. When I called they did not seem bothered by this request. Maybe this happens a lot, judging from the many negative reviews here.

Tamara is a good counselor but being good, isn't good enough, Especially when you unreliable. First, I feel like she's more concerned about money than actually helping. Multiple times she chased me down, telling me I didn't pay for appointments. After I pulled out receipts, which I had to ask for since they don't automatically give you one, she backed off. But this happened, multiple times. She made sure to find me for money but never to make sure I was doing ok. My first appointment that SHE booked me for, was a disaster. She never actually put me on the schedule and I waited an hour before I could see her. I just assumed this was a mistake and it wouldn't happen again. Little did I know, this would be my experience. Every single time I went, she was late. After she was late, she would rush through our sessions. I never saw her for more than 20 minutes. After our second session, she tried to push me from weekly sessions to biweekly or monthly. After TWO sessions, she was already trying to cut me out. I pushed back, she agreed that I should still come weekly. One time I went for my appointment and she wasn't even there. Again, maybe a mistake, even though I confirmed my appointment multiple times. The last time I went for my appointment, the office was completely closed. This was a very important appointment for me, which she knew. Despite her knowing how vulnerable I was, she never rescheduled or even called to check in on me. Thank God it was t life or death because she still doesn't know if I'm alive or not. That last appointment was over a month ago. As a counselor, you are sometimes someone's life line. If I depended on her to save my life, I wouldn't be here. She is not reliable. She is unprofessional. I am so disappointed and will never ever step foot back in that building.

The receptionist Carly is difficult, kindly put. She took my info told me should would verify…read moreinsurance and call back in two days- never called back. A month later I receive a call from Carly saying she verified my insurance would I like an appt. I asked why it took so long to hear back she said I was on a waitlist (now I know the real reason- Carly dripped the ball)but after searching for other counselors and having limited options I agreed to be seen. While on the phone I confirm address and inquire about the person I'm seeing not in the website- Carly didn't respond and just confirmed the address. I go to the address and it's the wrong address. Since it was already 7pm in the evening and I knew dealing with Carly was a chore I didn't bother looking up another address/location. Carly calls 2 weeks later leaving me a voicemail if I still wanted to be seen, if not they would discard my chart- great message! I called back still interested but Carly's attitude sucked so that was the end of that. Carly find a new job please- people are looking for guidance and help and you lack basic customer service skills.
