Greg was great- he really knows what he's doing! Our contractor did a poor job of installing door handles and deadbolts on our front door and garage entry door. We had to push or pull the door with one hand while turning the deadbolt with the other hand. Greg came out and replaced one deadbolt and did a lot of tweaking and adjusting to get both door locks lined up properly. He was very thorough and pleasant and insisted on vacuuming any debris that was left from drilling. Price was fair for the amount of time he spent. Highly recommend! read more

I've been remodeling, repairing and rehabbing my old wooden house for 5 or 6 years now. I've dealt with just about every type of contractor and handyman over the years. Some of the experiences have been great and some have been...well..."learning experiences". Dealing with Greg has been one of the best experiences I've had in hiring a home improvement repair professional. I had around 20 locks that needed attention. Some lockable areas needed to be accessed by workers in my house, some only by me and my family, We discussed the idea of using lock boxes but Greg figured out a method of re-keying the locks in different configurations so the house became secured but with portions still accessible to workers. I was very happy with the result. Before Greg started working on my house there were also a number of locks that didn't function well for various reasons. Most of them had been installed by handymen and weren't working well. Some doors had sagged and the deadbolts weren't working or weren't working without a fight. Some locks had worn out. Greg went around the whole house and yard and fixed everything. All the locks work perfectly now. We feel much more secure in the house. The price was fine...reasonable. One thing I've learned...it's obvious but I had to learn it from experience...is to hire people that know what their doing. Don't let your handyman do electrical work, tiling, or lock installation. For matters dealing with locks hire a licensed locksmith. And next time I need a locksmith, it'll be Greg again. read more

Prior to that, I he took the time to discuss what I needed done - and the best way to go about it. He made recommendation on the locks that I should probably purchase - based on my goals, and also the use cases. As a locksmith, he really thinks about how to keep your home safe, but also makes recommendations to ensure that you don't accidentally lock yourself out. I really appreciated that. What stood out the most to me was that when it was time to review the invoice - I actually counted higher number of line items. He then explained to me that it was one less, because he re-keyed off the first one, etc. I appreciated the transparency, and his integrity.
