The technician, Joseph that Ron assigned to me was honestly the most rude and disrespectful person I've ever talked to. I manage 2 gyms so I've had some difficult conversations in my time but in this case after waiting for 30 minutes for Joseph he called me and said he needed to do some research because he didn't think he had what he needed with him to help me. I bought a Aura Kwikset Smart lock but the deadbolt won't fully extend through the existing hole on the French door, so it appears that a deeper hole is needed. Ron came to see what needs to be done within the estimated time frame he gave. Pricing was given as soon as he figured out what needs to be done. Fixed my problem in less than 30 mins. He even aligned the latch for the door handle which I did not asked. Would not recommend this guy. Had a small shed lock that key would not turn on on my Dad's shed who had just passed away. Called on a Monday said he'd be there at 12:30...called him again at 1pm said he'd double booked sorry. Gave him a second chance for the next day wish I hadn't. When I asked on day one how much to show up he said "will talk about it when I get there". He spent 3 minutes sprayed some WD 40 got it to open and took out six screws from the old hasp....told me to buy a new $10 lock at home depot as he didn't have one (thank goodness). Never said anything about $ until I asked what I owed and it was $120. I get that (some) people need to get paid for showing up (no free estimate from this guy)....but he never gave me an estimate and when I complained after writing the check telling him I will never call him again, he basically said I should feel lucky that he didn't spend more time messing around and tell me it was a difficult job so he could charge me even more.
