I want to give Tom a REALLY BIG SHOUT OUT! I ordered a SCHLAGE Encode Smart Wi-Fi Deadbolt with Handle Set from Home Depot thinking that I could replace the lock myself since I was just replacing an existing lock set. Nope, that wasn't the case. I wasn't able to get the deadbolt to lined up so it would closed and opened smoothly. I called and left a voicemail around 7am. Tom gave me a call back and said that he could be out around 1 to 2pm and would give me a call before heading over. Tom had to swap out the deadbolt plate with one that he had plus put in longer screws than what was used with the existing deadbolt plate. Tom went over setting up the Encode app, connecting to the lock, setting up my personal code, and features of the app what you can do. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND using Tom at North County Locksmith.
