(Thanks to the locals who told me about this place). The first thing that grabs your attention as you enter is the SALE items up front then as your eyes scan the store you see SALE items in the rear and good options in between. From perusing different stores along Main St, with this beacon of hope at the front door I was already winning!!! They have a great selection of helmets, gift items, boots, jackets, pants, gear and more. I cannot remember all of the brands, but the ones that stuck out were Kodiak, Swix and Rossignol. It was funny because the store manager was not available and had the password to the register so the employee and us patrons started conversing between each other with not a care in the world even though a line started forming. No attitudes just positive vibes and sunshine. Once the manager (Shannon) returned, she had a couple of coffees for her and the employee jokingly informing us if we wanted coffee for the wait, it would be her treat. That was cool! Sooo... let me temper your expectations Main Street Outlet is an outlet and has good prices for the quality of their items, but I would say it is more of a Premium Outlet which the prices are way better and they have a better selection than most of the stores seen on this visit.

We brought our own pedals shoes and helmets but they have all that you need if you don't! The guys did everything! Even got my hubby a mount for his wahoo device! From the moment I stepped into the door of Alpine Ski & Sport, I knew I had come to a great place to rent ski equipment. I went early in the morning when they first opened and the girl who was working was very knowledgable concerning the type of equipment I needed to rent that would be perfect for a day on the slopes. They had an extensive line of "like-new" equipment to rent. Once I had selected what I wanted, she made adjustments to the skis to fit my boot. Payment was fast and extremely affordable for a day at Ski Cooper. However, what really sealed the deal on this place for me was that Sara (I think that was her name) was going to sell me a ski lift ticket, but took the time to check the website for a better deal on a ski lift ticket!! Since they were having a better deal if I bought it at the resort, she obliged not to sell me one from their shop!! Who does this? Obviously, Alpine Ski & Sport!! Returning the equipment was equally a "No hassle" deal as well, and the fact that they closed well after the ski resort closed, I had plenty of time to return the gear and spend the maximum time at the resort! If I ever need to rent gear again and am in the area, I would definitely not hesitate to rent from the nice people at Alpine!! Nicely done :)

Which isn't ideal when you have to carry it all back and forth. When we went to pick it up, it was really crowded. The place itself isn't big, everyone is lined up, didn't really understand what line is for what but eventually we all figured it out. You self checked in on the computer to pick up a ticket, then you line up to get your boots fitted. It was only one man working on that section and he was pretty efficient. After that, you wait a little longer, they measure you for your ski length and poles and off you go. When you come back to drop it off, you line up your boots and line up again to get checked out. They didn't really check any of the equipments if they were in good shape or not. However we did pay $1 extra for damage control. Which is nothing. Overall, it was little hectic but with some patience, you will be alright.

I reserved four e-bikes for Sunday, June 14, and specified bike sizes--including a small bike for…read moreone rider--more than three weeks in advance. When we arrived, there was only one employee working (Mike) and another group ahead of us, so we waited about 15 minutes before the rental process could begin. Once we were helped, we were informed that the small bike we had reserved was unavailable. Mike then spent roughly 30 minutes trying to repair another small bike in the back. After he brought it out, we did a test ride in the parking lot, but the bike immediately displayed an error code. We were then told it would not provide any pedal-assist power. At that point, we gave up on getting a working bike from Breckenridge Ski & Sport and went across the street to another rental shop. Remarkably, they had a properly sized bike ready for us almost immediately. Once we got on the trail, the three bikes rented from Breckenridge Ski & Sport all felt noticeably underpowered compared to the bike from the other shop, which easily outperformed them throughout the ride. The online reservation process was straightforward, but the experience at the store was frustrating and disappointing. Reserving specific bike sizes weeks in advance should ensure those bikes are available and in working condition when customers arrive. I appreciate Mike's efforts to solve the problem, but the lack of preparation and equipment readiness significantly impacted our experience.
