Trailer wires were not usable because they had been torn apart. Had to drive all the way back to get replacement. 4. Called to ask where the drop off was because contract just said surprise Arizona and the 888 number wasn't working. They told me they had no idea. Very rude. Then they hung up on me.

Absolute worst service I have experienced at any place in Libby. We rented a manual hardwood floor…read morenailer for $58 for a week last Friday. I went to return it yesterday and explained the tool needed maintenance and requested a refund. His attitude immediately changed and he proceeded to tell me that we weren't using it properly. (My husband has used a Porta Nailer several times, as well as numerous other brands.) I explained that the piston was jamming and needed greased and maintained. He told me I was wrong and that my husband was using it wrong. And that you have to hit it several times. While you do hit it more than once when actually nailing the floor, the piston has to be manually pulled up AFTER the nail is driven in. His solution was to hit it more. My husband is installing a very expensive, PREFINISHED OAK floor. Do you know how much damage a nailer can do to a prefinished floor, if the tool isn't working properly? We matched the nails to the ones they gave us. The floor, of course, wasn't finished when the tool was returned. We were only able to install 4 or 5 pieces with the tool because it takes to much to release the piston, plus the damage would have been so extensive. He told us to come back today and prove the tool wasn't working, but we are a working family. Neither of us have time to take off work early, a second day in a row to prove the tool didn't work. He refused to listen and just kept saying that the tool has been rented at least 10 times this year. That statement just proves the nailer needs maintained and greased. It is a bottom dollar Porta Nailer from Home Depot. Costs about a $150. The one that we purchased to do the floor correctly even requires maintenance and it cost $400, if that gives you any indication of quality. The man was rude and condescending. He immediately treated me like I was stupid and refused to consider a refund. Truly is a shame this is the only equipment rental place in town. Keep in mind we are also out a $17 box of nails, plus the $58 and the extra time off work for both my husband and I to go in and talk to him...on top of a day's work replacing the rental tool with one that worked.
