Bushwick service has gotten kinda cruddy overall these days because so many places have this transplant hipster vibe where they just can't be bothered, but this guy acted annoyed and put out to even be there. It was not great last time, but this time was astonishingly bad. He took my order and as soon as my food came out, he disappeared behind a screen and didn't come back out unless someone came in the door (which was only a couple times). Never checked on me. Never asked if I wanted another drink (my mint julep was awful, so moot point I guess). I had to wait for him to emerge when a to go order came in for me to flag him down for the check. Probably the last time I come back here.

I find it shocking that the owner of this establishment can boldly claim there are no other reviews but one stating they suffered from food poisoning (i counted 4 including mine), cuss out reviewers on the platform here, and justify the behavior of their horribly trained staff all while being a palm colored woman in a predominantly brown neighborhood suffering from gentrification. I had the cilantro tuna bowl and just about the next day I thought I was going to die from food poisoning, I wouldn't recommend coming here. and if Karla decides to respond to this comment I will be responding in person at the establishment because anyone can talk hot behind a screen but I prefer to communicate the traditional way. STOP POISONING YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH YOUR BAD ATTITUDE AND BAD FOOD. read more

I've eaten here three times. I'm used to 15 dollar salads so that's not the issue. One issue is portion size. It's tiny. And everyone that works here has the worst attitude. Like they would rather be dead then to ever speak to someone when they walk in or make an order. I run a customer service based business and 3 separate occasions with rude employees is completely unacceptable. They need to wake up and pay attention. Cool new place. The interior is really nicely decorated and the patio looks really nice. Too hot for these days but I'm sure it will be nice to sit outside once it cools a bit. The food was really good, I had one the bowls in the menu but I want to try some of the other ingredients some other time. I had one of their beers and it was really good, they have a few beers and wines to choose from which I thought was cool for a salad place. I am so excited about this place that opened right around the corner from my apartment. The interior is super cute - nice, clean and modern and they have really delicious healthy food. I have eaten there three times and I also have done take outs after work. The salads are fresh and delicious, they use organic and local ingredients and house-made dressings. I love their wild rice bowl and the shrimp and mango salad. I only wish they had green juices. Definitely recommend it! read more

I am not much of a salad guy so I order a soup and a warm bowl, to be honest I was a bit afraid after reading some reviews, have no regrets and I believe I just had some of the best food in Bushwick tonight at leaf, the girl at the counter was friendly and he place was very clean, I really hope stays that way, no much cooking will be happening at home since my discovery tonight. It's an incredible place. Best salad I've had in a long time. The chicken salad was seasoned well and it was really tasty. My friend had a quinoa warm bowl with steak. Each dish has a unique flavor and stays with you. We sat in the back patio and enjoyed cold beer with our meal. I highly recommend this place. Great vibes, food, and staff. We wound up going to the counter to pay, to save on time, and to go get a burger from a spot we noticed one block away.
