The water still smells (some days like rotten fish, other days like sewage), and the yellow stains in the toilets never went away. After installation they only came once, did something quickly, and left--no real fix. Customer service is poor: even in urgent situations they schedule you 2-4 days out. Meanwhile, water has been running nonstop from their own hose for 3 days, flooding my yard. I'll attach photos. When I asked for a refund and help, no one called me back. I feel completely let down. Unless they provide a real solution immediately, I'll start the process to remove the system and pursue this through legal channels. Would give zero stars if I could. Not recommended.

He arrived and accessed the situation (I am saving you from the details). I mentioned that I wanted a new toilet and bathroom sink faucet (I am too embarrassed to show the old facet). He looked up prices and gave me a quote on the items and the other services I needed plus labor. He then went to Home Depot and purchased the new toilet and faucet (I would not have been able to pick just one - its like me shopping for shoes), cleared the drain and installed the toilet and sink faucet. Soon enough an adjustor came by and got paper work done. Roto rooter came and did the job, the guys were super sweet and awesome. All i was told was by the adjustor was "your insurance will pay for everything" I was getting emails from both roto rooter and my insurance about information. I kept telling my insurance that Roto rooter had all the info: claim form, invoice, and photos of damages. Roto rooter would ask me if there's any updates and if the adjustor had come for a inspection, no one ever came and I told them that my insurance was still asking for all the information. Fast forward I get a invoice that my insurance hasnt paid them after 30 days from their services. Again not once did anyone from roto rooter tell me "by the way you have to pay for everything if the insurance doesn't pay in 30 days" or else I would not have the service done and stayed with water damages. So now I'm stuck paying a invoice that I'm gonna struggle with paying for until the insurance pays me, which god knows how long that will take. If anyone from Roto rooter is reading this, please inform your customers VERBALLY from now on that if the home insurance doesn't pay in 30 days then they have to pay out of pocket. Don't expect people to read the fine print. I will also say the person in charge of claims at roto rooter is super sweet and did try their best to help me out with my situation.

I had one phone conversation and literally within an hour, my spouse comes home to be greeted by a different neighbor who tells my husband that he just found out that we are buying the filtration system! I hadn't even spoken to my spouse about it but Carl or someone from his office thought it okay to discuss our private conversation. I let that go. Then it took MONTHS to get his business license and insurance info. We live in a HOA and I needed approval to get this done. Then when we finally get the docs, Carl and his tech drop off all of the equipment on the side of my house near the AC units - which sat for TWO MONTHS after they told me the install would be the next Wednesday morning. Then when the tech finally did the install, the guy had to dig through sand and rock and he deposited all of the sand and rock IN OUR LANDSCAPING - almost smothering the bushes. I had to remove all of it otherwise all of the hedges would have died (confirmed by our landscaper). So, Carl couldn't respond in a timely fashion in any other interaction, but showed up promptly about a week after the install with the bill, which we paid the nearly $3000 within a couple of days. Fast forward a few weeks, three of our hedges start turning a red/bronze color - they are dying because the tech directed a hose releasing who knows what into the landscaping. I call Carl to tell him and he assures me he will stop by immediately. He never shows. I call multiple times thereafter - no one answers the phone. I text. Nothing. I email him on 1/30/23 with a dozen photos - no reply. Mind you his office is a four minute drive from our community. Nothing...... So now the HOA is asking us about the landscaping replacement. Why do we have to incur the time and expense to repair/replace landscaping that was killed as a result of his installation technician's mistake???? He is the owner of the business and should make this right - stop by to see the issue and fix it. Reply to the email. Answer the phone calls or texts. I would NOT recommend this company. Do your research first and look at the reviews and the dates of the reviews. This was our mistake - we listened to one neighbor. They didn't even leave us guide to the system... The new company easily blew out the blockage, explained why the expensive treatment was completely unnecessary, and actually performed a proper inspection of the system, explaining it all to us simply.
