During installation I found that the screens had holes in two of them and there was a large deep scratch on one of the windows When I called they sent someone out immediately to correct the issue. I get a lifetime transferable warranty and now that it's winter, I can tell they are much less drafty. I'm very happy that I can open my windows now and windex both outside and inside. They truly do not ask for any payment until complete (but they do ask for payment on the day of install.) I deducted stars because it took a very long time. I placed the order in Aug 2025, and the final work was not completed until June 2026. Nearly every window had service issue with broken pieces, dangerously sharp (and ugly) welds, etc. I also ordered a custom color that was not the same color as the chip I selected from. Zen was very responsive and took care of everything, but it took several trips and additional orders with the factory for replacement pieces. They sent delicious cookies asking for a review, several months before the install was complete. The quality of the windows is not at all as expected. Again, the install is great. I think they did everything well to make sure the install around the window was sealed, insulated, and caulked well (very neatly done). However, the actual windows are not very efficient. I've been through a cold part of winter and through hot summer. There is no positive change in my HVAC bill in the past six months, in fact, the energy usage has gone up, and I can feel the heat or cold radiating through. In summary, Zen Window's customer service and installation is excellent. The quality of the product has been extremely disappointing. I would not recommend the product. Not at all a good value. I do not feel like I got what I paid for. I don't see a difference between these and cheap builder grade windows.

We met with the supervisor and he agreed that it was not according to plan. We told them to just remove the deck and we would get someone who can build according to contract. They would not even do that. Our remedy is to go to court.

Which then lead us to question if any of the windows had also been improperly installed. The only way to know would be to have all removed. This, after an utterly horrific installation. After a year of having technician after technician here we demanded compensation for all the shoddy and damaging work. We were told that the company was sold and we bought ours from the former company so the current owner is "not in a position to compensate us." It's still the same name and they will uphold the warranty but are taking no responsibility for what we have gone through. To any and all who have had windows installed by them just know they may not have installed them correctly. We never would have known had one not leaked. And we have no recourse now. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for replacement windows.
