The two gentlemen at the counter very loudly said "I hate when randos come in and especially kids" and looks directly at him. Only person in the store is my kid. My kid is 17 and wanted to purchase some comics. Truly a poor way to treat someone who frequents other comic stores. Just won't be going to this one. I advise not to go and spend your money in a place where they don't want random people walking in.

They sell guitars, vinyl records, graphic tee shirts, stuffed animals, assorted Legos, and my favorite, the mystery boxes! What I particularly enjoyed about 2nd & Charles was that they had all of the new titles and bestsellers, as well as a large collection of eclectic and vintage books that you could check out and peruse. They also offered you the opportunity to sell and trade books that you've finished, and had a section of books that were "lightly used" and highly recommended from previous readers. In addition, although I don't play video games myself, they had a nice collection of video games that were brought in from previous users, as well as a humorous assortment of t-shirts and office supplies that are sure to break the monotony of a regular office space. To conclude, 2nd & Charles was such a fun and unique store, which offered a dynamic combination of new and used books, music supplies, video games, and a range of other interesting miscellaneous items. I'm so glad that I stopped in, and while I don't really see myself becoming a "regular", I'll definitely be back in the future, and would recommend that anybody stop in if they're looking for a change of pace and exciting shopping opportunity!

Smallish store although there is an extension off one side for indoor/outdoor furniture, miscellaneous. I find the book section as best place to grab cheap pick for a flight, also lot of kid books. There are some name brands on cereals, detergent but a lot of knockoff brands for cheapish. This store has flooring, area rugs, sofas, clothing, towels, some decent candy. The store is clean, items do not litter aisles, employees helpful. My only complaint would be you have to drive to find it. It's kind of in a dead business area, if it were closer to more lively businesses would be better.

When I inquired if this was typical the attendant said "yes, if we have met our quota for the day". I drove 30 minutes here so I'm not pleased this is not advertised.

I took a whole bin of new nerf guns that my son never played with and Hot Wheel Garages. They refused to take it because it didn't have a car or bullet with it. I've bought nerf guns and such an NO ACCESSORY has ever been attached to it. They decide on bin limits when the website doesn't state it. Rude staff. They also don't take new stuff because it's "worn or not in season" but then have clothes with stains, holes, and very worn hanging down the aisles. BUT their website does say they take every season all year. Interesting There is one employee that is always soooo sweet. She used to work at the Olive Garden. She is very pleasant. Actually the only nice employee there. It just sucks when you spend a lot of money at a place and they just treat people rudely. I wouldn't waste my time returning to this location. I'll make the drive to two notch.
