Unique stuffed animals, toys for all ages, however, prices are pretty high. You may want to look here but price around. They have small gadgets for anyone that needs to keep busy with their hands.

I really love this store. It has something for all ages. They personalize items purchased there, make birthday goodie bags, have complimentary gift wrapping (with purchase) and it's cute too! They have a table up front that usually has great themed items together, for example: summer or like right now, back to school. They also offer birthday boxes for kids birthdays. It allows kids to pick parent approved items for birthday gifts that way when someone asks what your kid wants for their birthday, you can tell them that they have a birthday box at Learning Express, pretty clever if you ask me! This store has tons of stuffed animals of all sizes. They have regular kids events, special visitors, and storytime with a very entertaining storyteller, small snack, followed by very fun kid friendly creative craft. But mostly the staff is amazing! They are always so friendly, eager to help, kind, and so sweet to our kids when we go in. This is my go to place for birthday presents, they do so much for others, I want to support them too!

All the awesome gifts wrapped and ready to go!! Thank you Learning Express!!!

After my family did a toy fundraiser for our local Children's Hospital, I called Learning Express for help getting the best items for sick kiddos. The owners were absolutely the best!! Not only did they pull 20-30 items off the shelves to show us what we might consider for our $400, they wrapped them ALL, AND donated an extra $200 in toys to our cause!! I will support this toy store from here on out!! Please consider them over big name stores first! Great, giving people!!! They helped a 5 and 8 year old learn an awesome lesson in giving!!

It's not easy finding a good toy store that just sells plastic junk from China. Occasionally you will walk into a quality store that sells items that either challenge you, forces creativity or the crazy notion that you actually have to assemble something for once. Here is the place for you, if you are one to think outside the box. Even though it is in a fairly higher end retail area the prices are not out of range for affordability. I think it is because they have several options and keep the opportunity to make a sell with every walk in. The staff was friendly, polite and whatever we wanted to play with, they just happen to have a demo model and was ready to share.

Ask the Community - Learning Express Toys

I just bought a toy this Sunday. Will you be willing to wrap it up for me if I bring it on another day? I just read a post that mentioned that you wrap toys. I forgot to ask…

I did the same thing, the young gentleman that was working the counter was busy and I had to wait a few minutes for him to finish with his customers and he was more than happy to oblige. I tried to tip him and he refused it.

Sombrero hats, shoes, Mexican dresses, toys, the list goes on. Be careful about the stairs; they are rather steep. I love how the signs tell you to keep your children with you. There is also another sign telling you that you cannot try on the shoes. I asked the salesgirl about it, and she said that they had lots of people coming in to try on the shoes, but not buying any. And then people who actually bought the shoes would come back saying that the shoes smelled like feet from all the people who had tried on the pair of shoes previously. True story, swear to God. I guess tourists have stinky feet! I was looking for a souvenir for myself. Warned about the shoes, I actually was looking to get either a Mexican blouse or dress as I had seen several gorgeous ones during my stay in San Antonio. The salesgirl was great in helping me pick out one, and even better yet, offered a discount if I paid in cash. Done. Best yet, after visiting Market Square, I noted that this store's clothes prices were indeed less expensive than the stores on Market Square. Same merchandise, different prices. I don't know how the other merchandise stacked up, but it does pay to shop around.

Between authentication and grading I spent an additional $300. 3) DC Comics said that they had no idea of what we were talking about when we mentioned the free gift and said that nothing had been coordinated with them. I emailed the guy that runs the event, a guy named Apple, and I explained what had happened. No response. I emailed again. Again no response. As I talked to multiple people in comic book stores in San Antonio and the surrounding areas it was very clear that I was not alone in feeling ripped off. The biggest complaint besides a disorganized event was the Jim Lee pass. It really tainted the whole experience.
