Lots of toys, stuffies, and blind boxes for my little girl to get excited about. The trains in the front caught her attention and the many statues throughout the store she loved too. My wife had a good time helping me look at Gundam models and paints for my Warhammer army. We spent a good amount of time in the gaming room getting her some sleeves for her cards and checking out the books, figures, and tables set up for gaming. Ended up getting a few things and was an easy process. I think for the price of everything we got a good value cause we could have easily gotten everything online but I think part of what makes this place amazing is the passion the staff has for the hobbies, the amount of options they carry, and then if they don't have something you want (Warhammer stuff is what I was looking for) they will order it for you. We will for sure be back again cause I know I'll need more paints and I have my eye on a few models I saw in the Gundam/anime section.

Every year I do those Operation Christmas Child where you fill a shoe box size container with stuff…read moreand it's sent to kids overseas. Most years I'll go to Walmart for this stuff or Target and buy a bunch of stuff from the travel size bins. This year however I've decided I'm going to change up and try this place out. Some of the items that I will pack into these boxes are pencils, notebooks, chap sticks, nail clippers, tampons, sunglasses, crayons, etc. I was able to pick many of these items up for just under a buck or two. Plus I saw some more items here such as slippers and fuzzy socks that I think will also go great in these boxes. I didn't need any help shopping on my trip here but I was approached by a sales associates offering to help me find stuff which I appreciated. As always, they had a lot of clearance, I had a coupon for full price goods, and I had store rewards coupon so I walked out of there with $40 worth of paints but only spent $25. When you're coming out of the parking lot and wanting to turn back onto Barrett Parkway; this can be a challenge. There is a center chicken lane that all of the other stores empties out of and sometimes you have to wait quite a while before you can maneuver your way outta there. I visited the mall yesterday and I was sad to see the Niko Niko shop closed and vacant... NO!!! BUT... luckily, I walked a bit further and noticed that they had just moved - And Expanded. Nice! When I visit, the employees are always nice, helpful and informative. They have a large selection of plush toys and a few cool large ones. Toys, models & figures. Stationary & pens. Chopsticks. T-shirts. Japanese snacks and candies. Take your time and look around.

I am sad to say the service at this location has gone down. I am in my early 20's and went with my…read moresister who is in high-school today. Caitlyn and Hannah assisted us, they didn't have us place hearts inside, test the give of the stuffed animal, but had the groups before and after us do so. My stuffed animal wasn't stuffed fully and the stitching wasn't fully pulled closed. I have not been since I was a kid and was very disappointed with the quality of service shown today.

First, Town Center Mall is not as bumping as it once used to be...but I didnt feel like I had to look over my shoulder every couple of seconds or so as a mom with two kids 7 and under. The location was bright and welcoming. Having never been to a Build-A-Bear before, none of us knew what to do and the employees there were very patient and helpful. My daughter picked Glitzen a rainbow deer and my son picked a red T-Rex. They got to help stuff by stepping on the pedal and because Glitzen (aka Glitter) did not have her seam thread, the employee let them go create their "bear's" birth certificate while he stitched her up. The kids had $60 each so we left with Glitter, the deer, and three tutus for any and every occasion. We also left with Rex the T-Rex, a jedi light saber (he's a bad guy, because they only had red light sabers) and a jedi outfit and a t-shirt tux.
