What a cool place!!! I'm glad Bev saw the sign so we knew to stop by before we left Marietta Square! I'm not a collector but I appreciate seeing the old Ninja Turtles, G.I. Joes and He-Man "guys" I used to have as a a kid before I discovered M-80's I wish I had more time to sort through the pop bobble heads! They had a huge batch of them for like 10-15 bucks. Im fairly new to collecting Funko Pops. So i'm a new customer to Plastic Empire as well. I live all the way in CA so unfortunately i cant check out the store. I received word that for black Friday they were selling pop mystery boxes. Free shipping for $100 dollar or more order so I decided to get two mystery boxes at $50 each. Only guarantee is that the PPG would be at least $50 a box. Now maybe this review is biased as my boxes had great PPG value. One of the pops was an autographed pop. My first one in my young and growing collection. The PPG on 2 of the pops were $36 and $50. Those were in one mystery box. The 2nd box contained an autographed pop. From seeing the same autographed pop on ebay im guessing its worth $100 to $120. So it was a great purchase. They all came in mint condition. Care was put into packaging them for shipping and the autographed pop came in a protector case. I will definitely be buying from Plastic Empire again and hopefully one day will get to check out the store. read more

Worst company ever!! I preordered a pop and said was going to ship mid January but never arrived and now it mid February. I emailed the company if you can call them that about 10 times with no reply and called the store about 5 times with no answer. I called during business hours. I left several messages on there machine with no call back. WORST COMPANY EVER If you want to have a company take your money and not ship anything out and totally ignore you then Crappy Empire is the place for you. Fist and last time I am buying from them order 2 mystery boxes this ware hand pick. Mystery boxes I have bought from other places come in small boxes and randomly selected so the people mailing them out dont know what is in each box and when you order multiple boxes they place them in a bigger box not covered with paper and 2 pop in one box that's a joke that is not a mystery box. I do not recommend ordering from this company. Their shipping is horrible and the pops come with damage and when you reach out to customer service they take 5 or more days to respond just to say they can give you a refund but you have to pay for shipping and a restock fee. Funko shouldn't give plastic Empire the rights to any exclusives. They fail at ever release. It seems they only care about the bottom line because they are a tiny business. They need the cash flow during this pandemic. I understand that businesses are hurting but to be treated they way they treated all of us collectors across the country in the past few days is foul. We see hundreds of exclusives being sold for outrageous prices because Plastic Empire failed to sell these funkos with respect for collectors. They saved a little over 100 pieces for releases in their store which is comical at best. Where did the other 2856 go? We see a large chunk of them being sold for $300+ when It came out for $40. It's a sad week for collectors. Good luck to all of us with future releases from this company. I'm from NC, but once I found this page and the store's Instagram page, I knew I had to stop while I was visiting Georgia. Their Funko Pop selection is the best I have ever found. They have three full walls of current release pops that include all the new releases. They also have a full wall of chases and retired pops to choose from that are priced very reasonably considering the current market. There are also two cases of very rare editions and signed pops that are incredible. I seriously could have spent a fortune in here. For those not into funko they do also carry comics and other action figures. The guy working the day we visited was very knowledgeable and friendly. One of the funko pops I was looking for hadn't even been brought to the floor yet, but he pulled it out of the back for me and also checked to see if they had others I was looking for. He also took time to tell us about a convention the store will be at in North Carolina later this year. If I'm ever back in the area I will definitely be back with more time and a bigger budget. read more

I'm not a collector of Pop toys, but going here with a friend, I recognize a nerd palace when I see one. There are so many rare and collectible Pops there, and the owner was really knowledgeable about all of them and exactly what he had in his inventory. In addition to Pops, he has some signed ones, original casts, and tons of little accessory collectibles. Even though his inventory isn't 100% online (which I recognize would be impossible) he openly told us to message him on social media if there was anything my friend wanted and he would find it. Definitely do not recommend ordering mystery boxes or convention funkos from them. Go elsewhere. They sent "random" ones with a chance at a chase but they were only covered with paper in the same box. I'm sure their buddies got the chase variants. Also hard to believe that the regular mystery boxes are all random when you get everything from one movie line. Zero variety. Also tried communicating this stuff to the owners and wow terrible customer service. They said "don't buy our stuff" as a solution. Just count down till their out of business, it won't be long with how they treat their customers. Also you don't get the same value with the mystery boxes, you get half the monetary value. Say you buy $100 worth of mystery funko boxes? Well guess what it'll only be worth 50 when you see the items you get. Real class act.
