I stressed it several times because he bites very hard and I didn't want her to be injured. When I arrived I immediately noticed Cindy got down on the floor when interacting with my Westie/Maltese and he immediately relaxed, licked her and went willingly with her. He's a mommas boy so this really surprised me! Fast forward a couple of hours and when I picked up my "boys" they both looked amazing and my dog didn't bite Cindy, I was flabbergasted!!!! Took my dog in (who was in terrible need of a grooming) she had him for 3 hrs, and he came out clean and shaved. Made my next appt so next time he can come out with some hair left. She does charge a bit more if your dog is in bad shape, but like me that would be your fault. See how it goes next month.

This place was different -one sweetheart of a groomer, nice quiet location, and very reasonable price. Katie was the best- she did a nice job relatively quickly at around 2 hours each dog. It wasn't like other places that had so many dogs barking in cages and hairdryers going, you could not even hear anything- must be horrible for the pups too. This place was calm, quiet and definitely kept our pups calmer too. Will definitely return.

We have a golden doodle and thought we'd give Village Paws a try for grooming since our regular…read moreroomer wasn't available. We stopped by their location on Friday to have a look and find out some details. We were told they had opening the following week and a bath and grooming would take about 2 hours. We called the following Monday and booked a slot for 9:00 AM on Wednesday. On Wednesady we arrived before they opened at 9:00 AM and were the first client there. We checked in and provided a photograph of the dog with the cut we wanted. They then told us he would be done in 4 hours, maybe 3, but would call us 20 minutes before he was ready. As we hadn't received any call by 12:00 noon (3 hours later) we called to check of the status and were told he was ready for pick-up. So much for the 20 minute advance notice. The end result was his cut was a whole lot shorter than we requested and his chest and inner thighs were almost bare. In looking him over once we got home I discovered a tick on his inner thigh that was clearly visible due to the lack of fur in that area. I'm confident he had the tick on him before we arrived at the groomer but would have thought they would have seen it and removed it during the grooming. Granted they were $16.00 cheaper than our regular goormer but certainly not worth it considering the excessive amount of time the dog had to be there, lack of the call to let us know he'd be ready pick-up in 20 minutes and the almost overall buzz cut he receiced. Fortunately it will grow back given time. Needless to say we will not be back.
