They have just lost a dog loving person who will not be doing adventure trails again.i was doing this on my days off Tuesday and Saturday and Sunday. So I took today and Friday off in hopes to spend time with Louie. When I started taking dogs out I took plenty of pics and all the dogs were adopted Louie has not been adopted yet but I'm sure he will be soon.they never told me you could not take the same dog out.this place needs a new manager. We adopted a very sweet dog from the Fredericksburg Animal Shelter. She was described as a…read more7-year-old mixed breed who enjoyed playing but was also happy to sit quietly indoors with us. We are an elderly couple and reside in an over 55 community, so we did not want a dog that was too energetic. She is a sweet dog, and we love her and are trying our best to work with her. That is the good part. Hint: We found a vet who agreed to work with us/her. The vet prescribed Prozac for anxiety. NOW! This SPCA seems to be a sloppy organization. 1. When we got there, a staff member pointed to a door and said that we could go there and see the animals. We didn't need a lot of directions, but we had to find the dogs on our own by following our own noses. 2. We had to wait a long time to meet the dog. 3. The answer to every question about the dog was, "I don't know." 4. The paperwork we received about the dog described her as 2 years old and gray. Her age on the cage was 7 and she IS brown. When the inaccuracy of the paperwork was brought to their attention, the answer was "that's ok". 5. We were ignorant and just accepted the mixed breed description. Mixed breed, perhaps but many people have stated that she looks like a pit. This has caused us a lot of grief in our over 55 community. 6. We were told her bad points are she doesn't like her butt touched & is afraid of syringes. Truth: Although she is a sweetheart to us and other people, she will not tolerate any vet. 7. She was so dirty when we got her that before going home, we had to take her immediately to PetSmart for a bath. 8. PetSmart could not bathe her with the neck collar from the shelter on and it was so tight that they were unable to get it off. The collar was so tight that my husband had to cut it off. Poor dog. How could any shelter allow a collar to be that tight?! This shelter should be investigated regarding truth in advertising and animal care.

I bought a desk online on Thursday at 11:23 and went to pick it up today, Saturday. When we went in…read moreto pick it up, the woman at the counter first said something to effect of they didn't sell the piece I was talking about. I showed them the email receipt I had and she told me that there was no receipt at the counter documenting the sale. It was at this moment that I had assumed they sold it to someone else, but nonetheless she looked up my name and was able to find the receipt on their system. We drove around to the back to pick it up and after about 10 minutes of someone looking, he returned with a supervisor. I showed them a picture of the piece and they went back to looking for it. Then, they returned a few minutes later with someone else. They did not have the desk and I had to go back into the front to get them to refund the purchase. The supervisor met me there with the receipt and was telling the cashier that the desk was sold to someone else yesterday, a full 24 hours after I bought it online. Of course they refunded me, but it was just frustrating that over 24 hours later it was sold to someone else. I would not consider purchasing anything online again unless you want to call the store immediately and have them verify that they put the sold sticker on it, as that clearly didn't happen. I wish they had a better online system that prevented this from happening with the few pieces that are listed online.

The owner was very kind, responsive, and helped us with anything possible. They covered Luna's microchip, 2 dewormers, and a vaccine! They also plan to cover the spay once our kitty's at a good age to go through the procedure. The whole adoption process was very easy and swift, we'll definitely be coming back when we're ready for another kitty! We had coordinated with the individual from this rescue company and had chosen a cat for our…read moredaughter. She agreed to put the cat aside for a week and said if anything had changed that we had a week to let her know and she would give us a refund. We had a family meeting and decided that we probably needed to hold off on the cat. We called her well before the week timeline and she never responded. We contacted her several times and she never got back to us. We had to go through the bank to get the money back because she never refunded the money as was agreed-upon. If we ever decide to go forward with getting a cat in the future, we will not go through this rescue company.

It is clear that the teachers love the kids so much, and are so caring and attentive. Our oldest is now in kindergarten and TCCC was a huge part of setting him up to thrive. By the end of his last year he was doing math worksheets and writing short sentences, and that was all due to TCCC. Although the quick development in the area has removed the allure of the sleepy little town, the FOR can collectively make sure that the river stays healthy for all to enjoy. Grubs~

The volunteers are very dedicated and helpful in accepting the donations and distributing them to those in need here in the community. The group is respectful towards those they serve, even referring to them as customers - allowing those in need the dignity they deserve. Donating items is quick, easy and efficient. The volunteers are kind and full of good cheer. ECHO will also advertise the specific items on their billboard so you can see what items are most in need. ECHO can't accept everything but they can recommend other organizations that accept furniture, perishable food or other items for donations. You can feel good that your donated items will go to those who can truly use them.
