Used to be great, but gone downhill. Charged me to take off my nail polish. Isn't that something included? Didn't notify me either. Didn't scrub feet, but instead used a nail cleaning brush to wipe them down. Rushed the gel setting and now it is bumpy and curdling. They gave my mother two different shades of red on her nails and toes, and it is very noticeable. Also not washing their tools and changing their gloves (ew). I have been going here every couple of months for the last 5 years and have always been very happy. My last few experiences have not been the same. Unfriendly attitude where the technicians are rude or seem to be making fun of people. Too rough on the feet. Questionable cleanliness. When I first went there over a year ago, things were good, but my how things can change! I went in for a manicure & pedicure a little over a week ago and I'm still upset. First the pedicure, what happened to the salt scrub that is suppose to be used? This time it was non existent, so was the pumice of the hard spots of my feet. She did manage to get the polish on most of my toes! The manicure would have been better performed by a 5 year old. I sat there for over 1/2 hour waiting for someone to acknowledge the fact that I was not happy with the way my nails were, some were rounded, others were squared across the top, no uniformity I left there after a second tech "fixed" my nails with 10 extremely rough and jagged nails, unbelievable! Each nail was so rough it was catching on my clothes and one actually ripped off! I called, left a message asking for a refund for the manicure and left my name & phone #. It's been over a week and no response from LeBA Nails whatsoever! I would rather have them tell me they didn't want my business, I would have gladly gone elsewhere, but I will go elsewhere from now on!!! read more

Poor organization and bookkeeping. Been getting my nails done every 3 weeks, book my appointment before I leave. Showed up today for my appointment, and the gentleman who books appointments had made an error on my date. As a regular patron, one would think he would have apologized and fit me in, but no. Place is okay..I've had better pedicures for the price. The polish job seems good but the lady seemed like she didn't know how to do a foot massage and it kind of sucked. a little reflexology would have been nice. I feel kind of rushed and don't appreciate it; I'd like to soak my feet for a bit before they start the pedi. I also wish they would scrub with the tool a little longer and actually try to get the dead skin off longer than 5 seconds. read more

I get my acrylics here I went the first time because of how close it is to my house. The first time my nails came out ok 3/5 ... Some were crooked (granted they squeezed me in) however the second and third time I came my nail shake and color came out flawless 5/5! Would recommend just don't go at a busy time! I have been going to this Nail salon every other week for a year. Although the owner isn't very nice I did like their work. However, today while heading to my appointment I was stuck in traffic. I called 30 mins before my appointment letting them know what I was on my way but I would be late due to a major traffic accident. The owner said "No problem". Once I got to the salon, I was 20 mins late for my appointment - they told me that they couldn't take me. I told him that I called you to inform you that I was going to me late. He said "I know and I tried to call you back but we didn't have your number". Which I relied "You told me that it wouldn't be a problem and you do have my number it is written in your appointment book." He then said "sorry we can't take you". As I said - I've been going to this place every other week for a YEAR!! Never have I been late to an appointment!! This is how they treat a long time their customers. Yesterday I was a walkin at 10 @ Leba's. I was pleasantly greeted by a man. I asked for gel polish mani/ reg pedi/ brows. They were very accommodating for a place that seemed busy with regulars! Place was very clean too. Everyone greeted me as I walked in... Very pleasant. I had the same woman for mani pedi and I was an more than pleased with the out come. I can't say how many places I've even to where the majority of your nail is painted but not the sides ( it annoys me more than anything). The wonderful and professional manicurist did one of the best services I've ever had. Quick and relaxing. I recommend this place. read more

Just went yesterday to have a pedicure, no polish just remove & cut my nails. Horrible, she cut into my skin & then a manicure to remove old polish & shape. They are all broken today, She spent 10 minutes. Do not recommend this establishment. $45.00 for pain & terrible attitude. Never going back. I have been here many times, not in 3 yrs. I don't usually get my nails or feet done, but I often like to get my eyebrows waxed. I went to LeBa with my mother for a pampering day and I have to say I left feeling less than pampered. I had a pedicure- my first! I really could have done a better job than these people; the job they did on the nail polish was a bit sloppy and my feet (which aren't particularly rough or cracked) looked worse after I left because they did a great job soaking my feet, but didn't do a very good job scrubbing them. My mother, who gets pedicures fairly often said that they didn't massage nearly long enough and they didn't get at her ingrown nails- I mean, I know it's kinda gross, but c'mon you guys! And the eyebrow waxing left A LOT to be desired. First of all, the woman initially annoyed me because it was around noon time and she asked me, "No school today?" She clearly thought I was in high school. Most people might find this flattering, but I'm 25 years old. I really don't want people thinking I'm in high school. So I was already off to a bad start. I had to point out some spots that she missed at the end, but the rest of the waxing got on well enough. But when I got home and got a better look in my magnetized mirror (which a waxer should be using in the first place!) and she had completely missed the edges of my eyebrows! Those little angel hairs are the REASON I go to get my eyebrows waxed- they're impossible to get with a tweezers. I'll definitely not be going back there. read more

I get a fill every 2 weeks and I just started getting my pedicures there also. Everyone is so friendly, Jenny and Eric are a great team. .Jenny does an amazing job on my nails.. best I've had.. No no no!!!! I called there last Sunday to see if. Could get a quick gel polish change before an event I had that day. The man who answered the phone who I later found out was the manager, was so rude! I asked to be seen at 12:00 and he answered me "no!" Without any other options of time given to me, I asked if there was any other time that would work. He said if I could get there right away, I could be seen. I live less than 5 minutes away so I went....only because I was desperate and my usual place wasn't open. I arrived and the salon was pretty busy and was rudely "greeted" by a man whom I assumed was the same man I spoke to on the phone. Totally unwelcoming!! I was told to pick out a color and when I asked where the gel colors were, he silently pointed to where ther were....all 10 colors of them. I asked if there were more to choose from and again, I get a one-word "no!" Okay....I chose a regular color and was shuffled around from station to station until someone could take me. I have an acrylic overlay and I let them know that. My hands were put in acetone to try and remove the gel color. I questioned it because that is the last thing that you go to acrylic nails. I asked if it was possible to drill the gel color off the way I usually get them done and the man who rudely answered the phone and rudely "greeted" heard me ask about the drill and says loudly in front of the busy salon, you didn't tell me about your nails being acrylic (which I certainly did) "you're not a regular customer", "you don't have your nails done here!" "Now I have to find a technician to take your polish off!" I was appalled! I thought a technician WAS taking my polish off. Shuffled to yet another station, another very nice man drilled my gel color off and changed the polish. Although the man who painted my nails was nice, he did a horrible job. My 10 year old niece could have done better. It was lumpy and I was all over my cuticles with no clean up offered. $18.00 later, I left embarrassed by the way I was spoken to and unhappy with the end result. Oh....there is also a little thing called sanitation that wasn't followed at all! Dirty files and drills aren't the way to go! Very beautiful on the inside! I do not like how they do their pedicures, not very thorough like other places I have been to. When I used to get my acrylics done here they hurt me quite a bit to the point where I was bleeding. Once and awhile I will go there because it is convienient but I don't like to go on a regular basis. I went back here a month or so ago and they were busy at the time and told me I could be back in an hour to get my nails done. So I went back in an hour and they made me leave again because someone took my spot and I didn't put my name in the book. Well ask me if I want to make an appt. and to put my name in the book?? I have gone here many times, the salon is always clean and service is fast! They offer poiish change for about $10 and full service mani-pedi brand new massage chairs, 4 televisions, and amazing long hot rock massage! No complaints here....definitely my go to in the area by far!! read more

My husband gave me a gift certificate for mani/pedi for Christmas (2 years ago)...I just never go to Georgetown as it's not on my errands route. I finally got to use it yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. No issues with making last minute for 12 noon appt and when I got there, it was busy for a cold rainy Tuesday. It appeared clean and very organized. The nail tech helped me pick out my color. Good basic pedicure with a hot stone massage. I was very impressed with the manicure...she did a good job ensure my nails were shaped naturally (rounded edge square) and spent extra time smoothing edge of nail so the polish would not pull up and peel unlike most other shops. Everyone was super friendly and not sure about the negative recent reviews...(boarder line racist). No language issues and the staff was professional. I would give 5 starts if the pedicure tub had disposable sanitary liner like my usual nail shop. I'd also like to see the sterilizing equipment more visible so you can what their cleanliness standards are. Overall good mani/pedi...#2 back up nail salon for me. probably won't be back because getting to Georgetown is sort out of the way for me and not in commuting pattern and doesn't have all the store options I need. read more

I'm not a regular but I have had a manicure 6 or so times. The new OPI shine polish lasts more than two weeks. The shop seems clean, is convenient for me and they do a good job. There is a language barrier...mainly me because I just have a hard time with accents but everyone seems pleasant. Seems to be busy with lots of regulars which would be a good indication from my perspective since there are lots of nail salons to choose from. read more

I am a regular customer that has been gong to Leba's since they started out. I am surprised by the negative reviews. Everyone I have ever spoken to there, and everyone who has ever touched my nails, has been very friendly and competent. They do very good work for a good price. I don't understand why others are unhappy as I've always been happy with the level of service provided, their willingness to get me in the door when I don't have an appointment, and most of all, with the look and feel of my beautiful manicures and pedicures. read more

have gone there a few times and was not super thrilled but decently done, or so i thought. not once have i seen them sanitize any of their tools or change gloves between customers. last time i went, they were unhappy that i began to remove my acrylics myself so it took them a few minutes longer than normal to take the rest off. they used the electric nail file after soaking my nails in acetone many times. they were not careful and drilled through my actual nails to the skin underneath and made me bleed on multiple different nails, and then proceeded to put my nails back into the acetone. they somehow hit my skin on my knuckle with the electric file and made my finger bleed. also they overcharged me for both the removal and the new set - $65 instead of $55. that was a few days ago and my nails still hurt from where they drilled into my skin. will never return, very unpleasant visit, clearly talking about me to the other employees. extremely unprofessional. also my appointments were never started on time, making me wait sometimes up to 30 minutes because they took walk-ins knowing they had other appointments soon. read more

Do not go here...ever. My first experience was so-so. I got a polish change and pedicure. I thought the price was a high, and the overall job was adequate at best, but that wasn't the problem. It was the service. The tech was openly annoyed that I was getting a polish change and not a full manicure. She then kept trying to upsell me on a french pedicure. When I declined, she started shouting in Vietnamese to the next tech over, visibly annoyed, and threw the white nail polish back on her tray. Still, I decided to try this place a second time figuring that I can't base my whole opinion on one tech. The second time was worse. I had an eyebrow wax and a different person took off the top half of my eyebrow. I'm honestly not exaggerating. When I told the owner how dissatisfied I was, he said that there was nothing he could do and defensively told me I had to pay full price. I hadn't even asked for a discount yet. One lousy tech is one thing, but a rude owner is another. I will not go back here and urge everyone to continue their search for a better nail salon read more
