But, my gel manicures just didn't work out. They didn't last more than 7-10 days. They often didn't paint close enough to the cuticle so they looked grown out on day 1. Shaping was inconsistent and sometimes nails looked 'crooked'. Most importantly, my nails are destroyed from whatever product/technique they are using. They file off the gel with the dremel tool and I think that's the issue. I normally have very strong nails but now they just flake and break. I haven't had that experience before. Sadly, I am on the hunt for a new place.

She asked if I had an appointment, which I obviously didn't, as they always accept walk-ins. It was 11 a.m., and there were no appointments available. I had been going there for two years because her other employees were always nice and did a great job. However, the owner's behavior was unacceptable, and I don't think someone like her should be running a business.

She is absolutely fantastic, super easy to talk to, very detail oriented and when I was apprehensive to speak up about something (which I did and it totally wasn't a big deal) she reiterated to me that if I had questions about anything, not to be worried about saying something because she wants me to leave happy. And boy , do I leave happy! The owner is also very nice and super knowledgeable and in the future, I definitely want to look into possibly getting IPL photo facial for my rosacea. They also offer brow services, lash services and other kind of skin treatments. I plan on trying those also. I know this was long but I can't say enough good things about this place!
