Time for LeBoy to be recognized for the tired old man he's become. Absentee owner doesn't care and it shows in the atmosphere, cleanliness, or lack of, and begrudging service. Staff has been there so long and really don't care because apparently they are immune to being replaced. There is no parking and no talent as far as the dancers so please tell me why anyone should waste one second of their time at this so-called "boy bar". LeBoy is definitely an experience and I'll give it that. The patio bar is actually really great -- good energy outside and the drinks are decent enough to keep you going. If that were the whole story it'd be a solid spot. But let's be real about the vibe here. This place is very much centered around the younger Twink crowd who are there to dance, be seen, and find their people -- and they own that space completely. If that's exactly your scene, you will absolutely have a blast. Where it gets tricky is if you're not looking to engage with that. There's a fair amount of pushiness and some of the interactions can feel disrespectful if you're just trying to enjoy your drink and mind your business. It put a damper on the experience a bit. That said -- it's one of those places you should check out at least once just to say you did. Fort Lauderdale has plenty of bars that cater to different crowds, so if LeBoy doesn't end up being your thing there are other great options nearby. Came last night with my husband. We enjoy leboy because it's a fun atmosphere and we are friends with the bartender. We came by after dinner and we're excited to find out it was a Britney Spears night! Bar was very busy, but still managed to have fun and get our drinks in. After a few drinks I convinced my shy husband to give one of the dancers a few dollars on stage. The dancer and my husband were having a great time. After the song was over the host said "learn how to dance on a pole before you come on my stage, and maybe you can make more than a few dollars". Then continued to roll his/her eyes and make fun of us and the dancer off the mic. I understand queens will use dark humor but it was just mean and off putting. LeBoy has something you are not going to find any anywhere else. They have so many boys on staff hanging around it's hard to keep track. The boys are social and take turns on the pole. Different nights have different themes. I was there on lube wrestling night. That culminates with the guys doing a shower show. Loved the shower. One thing you need to know is all the boys work for just tips so bring your green. The whole setup seems more like a Japanese host club than a gay gogo bar. The bar itself is not bad. It has an inside area, a stage, an outdoor patio, and adequate though not abundant parking. Now the bad news. LeBoy is a bar. A bar means alcohol. And that's where things go sour. I went there with a friend. We both ordered Vodka drinks with Tito's. I watched the pour. They were good pours and yet we could taste no vodka and after 3 we felt nothing. The drinks were so watered down that drinking was pointless. When I messaged them about it on Instagram the next day they read my concern and promptly ignored me. No answer. No apology. No "we will look into it". Hence the two stars. So go to LeBoy. Give your money to the shirtless guys. Avoid the watered down drinks. read more

I'm pretty irked about this place to be honest. Not any fault of the staff or the location itself, but because of its website. We were driving up from Miami after a really long day. We were starving and saw on the website that they have burgers and dawgs. We've always wanted to check this place out, but we live really far away and figured this would be our best chance to have some grub and enjoy the night a bit. We came in (no cover) and it seemed like a great crowd. People were laughing, some dancing, lots of drinks, etc. the place has two bars, one in the building and one on the deck out back. Immediately as we walked in and didn't see any tables, per se, aside from the bar, I thought that this place didn't look like it has food. We walked around the place, inside and the deck, and did not see anyone with anything edible nor any space that a kitchen would be. I went up to the bartender at the deck bar and he, very politely explained that they do not serve food. He was very kind and even offered me a bag of his potato chips in my troubling times. I'm sure this place is great, but we were so hungry and the only reason we came here for food is because the website says they have food. It does not stipulate that it is only for special events. It does not stipulate that food is offered only during certain times. If management reads this: please, update your website with clear information. I wanted to come and spend a decent bit of money at your business. Ultimately, I left feeling lied to and didn't spend a dime. Edit: I attached a screenshot from the website. Kids were at friends houses, hubby was out of town and mommy wanted a fun night.... A friend mentioned this place and I said, sounds fun! It certainly was a great night, all the bartenders were friendly and poured a nice drink! It was totally full of twinks, as mentioned in other reviews. They reminded me of teenie boppers. They were taking selfies all night and kind of just hanging out and giggling with each other outside. They looked like they were having a good time, but I couldn't tell that they were dancers until we went inside and watched the show. This place is so sad. Very few customers. I came here as an out of town visitor on a Wednesday for amateur audition night and the short skinny white guy in the tank, who claimed to be a manager, was very rude. I didn't catch his name but he's dressed like a slutty hillbilly full of entitlement. Him and the other guy behind the table were worse than Regina George and the mean girls. We said we were first time visitors and he gave us so much attitude, talking to people like were below him. I highly do not recommend based on the "manager" running the back room area. The bar tenders were fantastic! The boys were cute, more on the twinky side, all a bit high from their cape pens and lack of funds. Literally immediately after walking in, Giovanni helped me get stacks of singles, was so kind and welcoming to my friends and I, let us know he was here for anything we needed. The bartenders were great--strong drinks, we'll priced, attentive, and cute!! The entertainment was wild--great energy, and all insanely sexy and having so much fun with one another. If you're considering going to Johnson's, don't. Come here instead for an ACTUAL good time, with LIT people, and a fucking WILD atmosphere. read more

Le Boy, the newest and latest of the Fort Lauderdale gay bars has had its grand opening weekend. Basically it's a twink (ages from around 18 to 24), seemingly the younger the better, strip show dancing club, and no, they don't go all the way. That, however, might be a good thing since though some seem to have some muscle on them, most appear to my eyes as rather scrawny, malnourished adolescents but overall that seems to be what the patrons of this establish are there for. They have two shows on nightly beginning at 9:30 and 11:30 and though there is no cover charge parking is by valet or if you do park on your own, still a valet charge of $3.00 which actually isn't a bad deal at all. The shows, at least to me, don't actually amount to much for two reasons. First is that none of the dancers appear to be very good dancers; rather devoid of any the more professional erotic or prurient dance moves you might see at places with more mature strippers like Swinging Richards and secondly, since the dancers work the bar areas seeking out customers who will put a few bucks into their tight little shorts, you've already seen or felt what it is that they have to show. Hence, it doesn't seem to make a lot of sense for them to put on some clothing merely to take it back off again to the point of what you've already seen. But, a show is a show and a performance is a performance. As far as the establishment itself, it's really a rather nice. Formerly home of the Bill's Filling Station and later the Depot, they've nicely redecorated yet preserved the pleasant atmosphere of the outside patio area. The inside area has been completely gutted, completely redecorated with two stages at either end of the bar area, one being basically a stage and the other a small elevation stage with a pole for pole dancing. The men's room areas seem a little lacking in that I only counted two and though the door knobs lock from the inside, they tend to be foolers since the really don't lock the door knobs from outside access. I discovered this when I completely startled a certain someone by thrusting the door open only to put him into full view, caught with his head leaned back taking a deep breath from a straw stuck up his nose. What that was all about I don't know, didn't ask, don't want to know, but will gladly assume him to have been doing nothing more than taking runny nose medication for a cold. On that note I will however point out that the establishment does seem to be drug free and I am certain that operators, if they ever see or know of anything having to do with drugs would deal with very harshly the matter. They also have a little, really rather tiny VIP room, and though I've never gone into a strip club VIP room, understand that is an area in which, for a slight charge of around $20.00 or more, the more the better and longer, one of the dancers will provide a customer with a private lap dance. Overall the place is well lighted, the surroundings clean and pleasant. The drinks are reasonable priced, the bartenders competent, the dancers polite and well behaved, matter of fact much better than in other such similar establishments wherein they can become somewhat overly aggressive to point of actually becoming and annoyance, and the operations of the establishment well run. Though not my thing, I have been to a number of similar gay male strip club operations with an emphasis upon twink dancer entertainment, and as far as they go, I'd say this is by comparison one of the better ones. read more

Only sit at the bar section that is at the entrance, sit nowhere else if you expect service. There is no organization as far as the dancers go or what is happening when. Over time the entertainment changed from "Johnny's Boys" to "models"... I went to the new incarnation of LeBoy LATE last night, about an hour before closing; and hope it was an "off-night". Been here twice. It's really expensive for a bar that's not anywhere close to anything else. It's about a 5 minute drive from the cluster of bars in Wilton, it's not in Miami, but yet the drinks are 8-9$ for a WELL drink and a 6$ for a beer. The outside patio is nice, and inside is clean and not seedy like Johnny's off of Broward, but the price is a real killer. I don't even think The Manor charges as much for drinks as this bar. No cover, but parking is charged valet or charged self park, UNLESS you find a parking spot in the neighborhood. Our first visit we found a spot in a tiny lot down the road, no signs that it was illegal to park there - we walked to the venue and the parking lot attendant for Le Boy stopped us and said "I can't be responsible for your car if you park there, I've seen cars get towed." I don't believe that for a second, there were 2 other cars there - and the lot was not marked for any business whatsoever. He was clearly using scare tactics to get us to park in HIS lot. This kind of sleazy customer service I can expect in Miami but near the train tracks in Fort Lauderdale OUTSIDE of Wilton Manors? Please. Another thing, this bar is literally built 2 ft away from the train tracks, so every 15 minutes or so you'll feel like you're about to get destroyed by a incoming train. PROS: Clean inside, friendly bartenders, nice outside patio with TV's and (expensive) food. CONS: OVERLY and unnecessarily expensive for a bar outside of Wilton Manors and nowhere near anything else. If you want to pay this much for drinks for a place just like this, go to Swinging Richards in Pompano or pay even less for drinks at Johnny's and deal with a seedy interior.
