There are a few times in your life when you come upon a company that you can say hands down , some of the nicest people you'll meet or work with. Ledezma Ornamental is one of those companies! Henry (Enrique) and Arturo were so accommodating and professional. I have a rental condo that I was doing a full remodel on and the stairwell was an eyesore. I knew I wanted something special made that you would see as soon as you walked in. They reviewed a few of my pictures and drew up something quickly. We agreed on a price and away they went. They were very clear on timelines on how long things would take and stuck to their word. When they returned to dry fit the railings I was so happy! I couldn't believe how nice the design was and then off to powder coating it went. In the end, the railings were exactly what I wanted. So pretty, incredibly strong and they installed it very well. I even had a few little minor touch-ups I needed and they came back when asked. All in all, you will be VERY happy with Ledezma! The owner, Enrique Ledezma, and his team, (Arturo and Eli), did an amazing job on my iron fence and gates! I called them last week to get an estimate for yearly maintenance. Enrique and Art came the same day I called and I had an estimate before they left. The scope of work and verbal estimate was followed up in an email the very next day. I also contacted several other companies. Their response times were nothing like Ledezma Ornamental's. It was quickly clear to me that this company listens to their customers, knows the value of good communications skills, and has respect for the client's time. With that in mind and having received a reasonable estimate for the work to be done, I hired them for the job. The work was scheduled for yesterday, June 7th. They came the day before to carefully review the work to be done so they were sure to have all they needed for the work to be completed on the 7th. They arrived at 9 a.m., sharp, just as they said they would. They worked diligently throughout the day and finished the entire project by the end of the day. Once the work was done, Enrique and I checked the work. How refreshing! My satisfaction with the work was important to him! Enrique is a true craftsman. By way of example, he suggested some finishing touches that would enhance the beauty of the fence and wanted to do them at no cost to me. He has an eye for detail and design beauty. Beyond that, he is very kind! Enrique and his team are professionals. They are courteous, value their clients' time, and take great pride in the quality of their work. Enrique's prices, at a time when gouging is so common, are reasonable for the quality work that is guaranteed to be delivered. I had my share of bad experiences, therefore finding Enrique Ledezma ornamental completing my project was a blessing. They are true professionals who were always in touch with me during the progress of the work. They are friendly , easy to work with and with mind frame that customer comes first..The access opening to the second floor is somewhat narrow and its always a problem of moving furniture up or down. I needed something to solve this issue. Enrique came up with a brilliant idea and built a stair rail that would open as a gate so that I can open it outwards when I need to movie furniture upstairs. Return of the Master Artist When Enrique Ledezma for the first time built me a masterful and beautifully detailed courtyard wrought iron fence-work including 6 large and wide custom-made fences and 2 gates, exactly to my design and specification, he told me that he would like to one day return and remove my stairways inside the house, so he can build me a classic wrought iron stairway. Well that day had come. I remembered his words and when I was ready to do the project, I had other candidate contractors to do it; however, how could I bypass the Master Artist Senor Ledezma?! So, I found him and he took charge of the project. He brought Eli his son, whom he trained well as his assistant. Eli had done a wonderful job. The reason to call Ledezma to do any wrought iron job design and construction is not that he is the cheapest or fastest but it is that he is a detail-oriented artist who will build for you the exact design which you have in mind, to the detail. That is what he done to the courtyard and this time, he also done it to the stairways. He is simply the best. Senor Ledezma executed my exact design to the detail. He ordered the pickets, painted them, welded the clips to screw them to the wood, gathered the cups for the bottom of the pickets, painted them, sanded and painted the rails and columns to match the stairs' oakwood, screwed every picket in place to perfection at the bottom and glued them at the top and he went by the order of every other, one patterned and one twisted. The results were a classic Victorian style stairway smacked right in the middle of the house worthy of a mansion. This was not an easy stairway to build because it is a round stairways with each step a different size (narrow on left and wide on right) twisting like a snake in the middle of the house, connecting the two floors. It took a lot of money to originally build it and I did not want an iron worker to destroy my wood stairs. That is why I chose a professional such as Ledezma. He built the perfect stairs pickets and bought the rails back to life. Senor Ledezma is more like an artist and he suffers for his art to do the perfect job. His prices are reasonable and he gets the job done as fast as he can and to the best of his ability. The reason I like him is that he executes my complicated designs to the detail and every angle of each corner is to the exact degree desired. Naturally I never post pictures on my reviews because I don't want anyone to copy my designs but I tell you this much that I am an obsessive-compulsive perfectionist and a neat freak. If Senor Ledezma has passed my test in 2 separate occasions doing 2 complicated jobs for me, then for sure he is good enough for your project. I do a lot of construction and remodeling. These gentlemen are truly wonderful. Note the lovely new railings they did out of my sliding glass doors! . I had a 20 year old outdoor aluminum dining table re-powder coated by them. The result is waaaay beyond my wildest expectations. The work is impeccable and the table and 6 chairs are like brand new! I know their price was reasonable. They picked them up and dropped them off and checked in with me nearly daily. They even wanted me to be here when they dropped it off to see my happy face!! I had Enrique from Ledezma Ornamental make a fence for me a few years ago. I was happy with the quality of the work at the time and Enrique seemed like a very kind and honest man so I had him make a wood/iron gate for me in 2015. After about 6 months, the clear varnish began to peel. In 2016 I decided to have someone else build some other wood gates for me, but I decided to give Ledezma Ornamental another chance with doing the metal trim on the new gates. When I called Enrique he showed up with a guy named Frank. Frank was a typical smooth talking salesman and spoke English well. Enrique speaks very little English. I explained to Frank that I wanted a copper trim around my gate. I also showed both of them the gate Enrique built a year before with the varnish peeling off. Frank apologized and said they would sand down the old gate free of charge and pay for someone to stain it again. We also agreed that they would do the new gate trim in copper. I gave them a $500 deposit and they came back a few weeks later to put on the copper trim. Well, the work looked so bad that Frank and Enrique admitted that they really had no idea how to do a copper trim. I told them that perhaps if it's easier they could just do the copper on the top of the gates and not all around the perimeter. They agreed and peeled off some of the copper around the perimiter but left the other part on. They promised to come back later that day to finish peeling of the copper before the glue set. Well, they left and never came back. I emailed and called them several times and got no response. When I called from a new phone, Frank answered immediately and apologized profusely. He agreed to come out the next day to fix everything but again they never showed up. They did this more than once, and in the end, they never showed up or responded to my emails again. I don't think Enrique would rip someone off intentionally, but it appears that Frank calls the shots. I am not even sure if Enrique knows that Frank never gave me back my $500 deposit. I had other contractors working on my house at the time and they all witnessed the mess that Enrique and Frank made. In the end, I had to have another contractor remove all of the copper, sand and refinish my brand new gates. I also had to have the original gate that Enrique made in 2015 refinished at my expense. read more
