We were informed later by our excellent server, Ashlee that there is also seating upstairs! We forgot to take a tour! The decor is very chic, but not overly done. We were seated at a table, but booths are available as well. Even the women's restroom with chic. It needed to be picked up a bit but was nice. Our server Ashlee was excellent! Her upbeat personality and friendliness was in the 10 rating! For only being at the restaurant a couple of weeks I think her vibes will keep bringing customers back. But not only her vibes, the food is very good too! My friends were very happy with their main meal, me as well! I had the Chicken Panini and the companion (side dish) I selected was the Pan Fried Corn. Both very good! We did order shareables too! The Southwest egg rolls and the Charcuterie Board. We were very happy with both! I would definitely order them again. I ordered two alcoholic drinks. My first drink was called the Bees Knees (ginger, honey, lemon bourbon) and an Espresso Martini. Both were good. The ginger was very mild in the Bees Knees. We were quite full so we were not able to enjoy our desserts at the restaurant but did order them to go. We ordered the Crème Brûlée and Key Lime Cheesecakes to go. I enjoyed the Key Lime, a good balance of sweet and tart. A little perfumme for me but still good.The feedback on the Crème Brûlée, was ok. I didn't try it. When I visit this area again, I would surely come back here and try some other items on the menu. Parking in this area can be quite busy, especially on the weekends. This is why people prefer Amazon.

To make matters worse, an employee and manager were in the store and when we tried to explain to the employee that we had already paid, they mocked us standing outside by stating "that sucks for you, cancel your order or come back tomorrow."

I appreciated how he was able to demonstrate what my finished product would look like and when asked provided his opinion on the layout. Vartan is the kind of sales representative I miss in today's big box stores. He will be the reason why I will return. Completely different story when checking out at the front of the store. I selected an item where it had a 50% sign on the shelf but when I went to purchase I was told it was not on sale. The supervisor/manager was called who took, in my opinion, her own sweet time to walk 15 feet to the register I was at to say the item was not on sale. I offered to show her the item and sign but she did not want to be bothered. That is the person that I prefer to not see in customer service.

So I've been trying to make this t-shirt quilt out of my old high school and college shirts for…read moresome time now. My friend had initially helped me start it by cutting up my shirts and making squares... then life got in the way and my project got delegated to the bottom of my closet. After a couple of tries with other places in the area, I got on the radar of Deborah Young. She does marketing and sales for Quilt Patch Fabrics. She had helped my mom make a couple of t-shirt quilts out of my dad's old shirts after he passed away so I wanted to see if she could help me out. Only doing a couple of quilts at a time, she had a long wait list, but after a couple of months, she got back to me. I met with her at the Quilt Patch Fabrics and she was super professional and helpful. I always forget how many options you have when quilting so it can be a bit overwhelming, but I explained my original plan and vision and she helped me make some decisions. I had arrived a little early for our meeting, so I got to look around the shop... you can buy fabric, accessories, books, measuring implements, and also take classes here. Everyone was super friendly and I even got to watch this gentlemen use the quilting machine (its super big) and it's the finishing swirls and patterns you see on the finished product. I think the machine is manually operated so I was really impressed by this guys steady hands. After about an hour of meeting with Deborah.... (She's really thorough and I felt like I was in good hands... while we hammered out all the details). I was all set. Deborah also brought examples of her work. Pretty exciting to see how this quilt comes out. At least the squares and memories aren't sitting in a garbage bag in the back of my closet anymore.
