There's multiple grassy fields and some picnic tables. Some people were flying kites when we were there because of the wind. There's also a dog bag station, which is nice to see at a state park. Regarding the fort, I didn't realize until later that there's an easy path up to the top without needing stairs and/or a steep route. Otherwise, I thought it was tricky going up if I could only use the thin metal ladders. Once at the top, there were multiple points that seemed iffy and unprotected from dropping down.

Each family prepares a meal and we just have a good time. The Jenne Farm is a fantastic spot to let the woes of city life disappear while you sit on the porch of the 100 year old farm house. Take walks through the farm land and forests visit the beach nearby and mainly just relax. Chat with the farmers who stop buy nearly daily to tend to things they will give you farm fresh eggs even take you on a hay ride. I got to drive the tractor...felt like a kid again! I believe there was street parking farther away, but we didn't look. TJ and Sophia were great hosts to us. Sophia was very knowledgeable and so willing to answer any questions we had. On the tour, we saw a grey whale from a ways a way. Orcas were being scarce today but we traveled near Seattle and pungent sound. They really went the extra mile to make sure we were able to see orcas as this was not close by. The pod had a NEW BABY! Such an exciting experience. Not only that, they were also having fun socializing and slapping their tails. Then we saw some glorious breaching. It was honestly such a great experience. We were in awe!
