Professional is the standard, but they are also classy, friendly, organized, & ALWAYS (and I do mean ALWAYS) on top of things. The facility is modern & comfortable. Dr. Woo does a good job or fitting braces and he has good communications skills. The only thing is, their hours are way, way too restrictive. No weekend hours, and even the weekday hours are from morning until about 2:30PM. Basically, you MUST take time off from work or in my case, it often means getting my kid out of school during the middle of the day, then drive my kid back to school again post appointment. Yes, I actually also have work obligations. The front desk staff can be a bit cold as well. Part and parcel of providing good service is more than just your dental skills, please be considerate of the schedule constraints of your patients and offer more flexibility. read more

I broke one of my molars, and was terrified to go into a dental office because of finances. I'm not saying that Dr. Woo will give you free dental work, but I am saying he made my experience, at least on the exam. Wonderful. Dr. Woo and his team are amazing! From the moment I called their office to the moment I walked out the door, I was treated so warmly. I had braces 25 years ago, and have been using the same retainer for the last 23 years. I felt it was finally time for me to get a new one made, so I called Lee & Woo to find out how to get it done. The nice woman on the phone explained to me that I would need to have a consultation first, and the next steps would be decided then. Today was my consultation, and the woman at the front desk greeted me kindly when I walked in. Their check-in system is so modern, I just had to tap my name on the screen to let them know I arrived! The woman at the front then helped me figure out how to answer a few questions that I wasn't sure about (they had emailed me a packet to fill out prior to my visit) and asked me to take a seat while I waited for my appointment to begin. I was brought back by a dental assistant and she explained how the process would go-Dr. Woo would talk with me and check out my teeth before deciding what to do next. He came in shortly after, then started my evaluation. He was very gentle and took time to explain everything to me. He didn't rush and answered all of my questions. We were able to get started with making my new retainer right after his evaluation, too! The dental assistant who helped make my retainers was also very kind and gentle, taking time to explain every step to me. I was then able to get my new retainers later that day! They have a cool arcade in the waiting area, with pinball and some other arcade games. The waiting area and the treatment areas are all very clean and modern looking. I love the decor in the treatment area (underwater coral reef images), as it gives a calm and pleasant feeling. The treatment area also has a nice double sink area for patients to use for rinsing, brushing, etc. I don't need braces at this point, but after having such a great experience, it kind of makes me want to get braces just so I can come back regularly! read more

I haven't seen Dr. Lee since I got them off and when I went in for a retainer check up, she still remembered me and what school I go to now. My Older daughter got braces two years ago in San Jose- so hard to get an appointment, always booked and they put it so far behind more than 30days. My dentist referred my son to go here for braces. We went in for his initial consultation and received a cost estimate. A few days later after making our decision to proceed with this office, I called to make my son's first braces appointment. The person who answered put me on hold and then came back on the line saying they could not book an appointment. Something along the lines of the dentist had not added something to the cost estimate and what I received was inaccurate. They would email me an updated estimate by the next day or so and only then could an appointment be made. I have been waiting and it has now been 2 weeks with no email ever from them. Also, no follow up call either to fix whatever issue occurred. I'm glad I didn't book an appointment here as there were already these two problems before we even moved forward with braces & payments. They get 1 star for being nice over the phone and at the initial visit. Hopefully they don't always let things fall through the cracks like my experience here. read more

Great Dr's and great Staff. Rewind 5-7yrs ago..I needed to get another set of retainers and found Dr Lee & Dr Woo. They took care of me and were very professional and at the same time had a friendly vibe. Fast forward to June 2015 to get my son braces. From that time to getting his braces off last month, he too loves the office, the staff and doctors. His fave is Dr. Lee and says she's awesome. This sucks that my first review on yelp has to be low but I feel like I was really scammed by this place and I think everyone else should know before deciding to come here. As a person who struggles with crooked teeth I couldn't believe these people would do such a thing. Honestly, I really wanted to work with Doctor Woo he seems very amazing, very nice, and first experience with him in the consult room I was looking forward to working with him. I knew this is the person that was going to fix my smile and I couldn't be more excited. Unfortunately that was as far as it goes I wasn't able to work with him because I changed my mind after working with the horrible finance coordinator. I got referred here by my co worker and she had an amazing experience so I was hoping for the same unfortunately it didn't work out for me. Finance is very important at this point and they should find a better way in working with their clients and giving them the same treatment as others. The total cost was really expensive and I was fine with it cause a person who struggles with crooked teeth her whole life like I didn't care much of it. So I went with the basic metal braces which is cheaper than the ceramics. the finance coordinator she wanted me to put 1200 down and I told her I only have 800 in my flex card and she just kept pushing and pushing me to put 1200 and I had to tell her no and she told me if I can find some way to make up for the rest she'll make a receipt out for next year so I can get reimburse for the difference. At that point it kind of threw me off with her but I was too excited about getting braces I didn't care. I went home and told my family like I'm getting braces and they mentioned to me that wow braces is so expensive now compared to what it was before. I called my co worker and told her everything and she told me oh didn't they give you a professional discount? And I was like no? And she goes yea they have gave me $1000 off for working at a hospital. At this point I was angry. And I asked how much did you put down and she told me they let me point down only $500 and I'm like I'm putting $800 and this lady kept pushing me to put $1200. On top of that my co worker got the most expensive braces and her full amount was less than mines and I got the cheapest braces. So I call the place and someone picked up and I told them the situation that I was referred here by my friend and I want to know why she is getting a professional discount and why wasn't it mentioned to me why she gets to put a cheaper down payment and how come her full amount is cheaper than mines and I got the cheaper type braces. The girl that picked up didn't have an answer. She's looking at both of our accounts no answer, asked me if I told the finance coordinator that I got referred here by my friend? Uhh yes one of the questions that is ask on the paperwork prior to checking in is asking if you got referred here? Told me she'll have my fiancé coordinator call me back. Maybe an hour or so later I get a phone call and of course here comes the excuse "Oh Sophia we had a special promotion that day on ceramics so she got the ceramics for free" than why can't the first girl that picked up mentioned that to me since it was such a "special promotion?" At this point they are just pulling shit out of their asses. She goes what I can do is give you the ceramics for free. Me: "No I want the metal braces and I just want the same discount you gave my co worker" finance coordinator: "I can't do that sorry" I couldn't believe it this lady is just all about money. So I canceled my appointment I guess My standards weren't high enough to meet her's to get a professional discount. Overall I found a different place that is doing my braces at a much lower rate same process they were offering everything included as theirs. My advice: shop around and make this your VERY LAST RESORT. Patient satisfaction is none of their concerns here just all about money money money. No apology nothing, don't expect the same treatment if you were referred here. I'm nice enough to not even mention the finance coordinator's name. read more

I did not have a good experience getting appointments at this dental office. It is always a struggle. A lot of times the office is closed due to vacations. They work only 2 fridays per month so finding those appointments in just four days per week is not easy. Recently I moved to east bay and had to continue bringing my daughter since it was almost the end of her treatment and the front office was not accomodative of my requests inspite of knowing I have to travel 30 miles to the appointment. I would look for another clinic who have better and much flexible working hours. read more
