We struggled with paying on time, but we're able to negotiate with an employee named Joe who would call us and give us "friendly reminders" when we were late. How was generally pleasant As long as I called him back and let him know what the issue is, we were always able to strike some kind of deal. One day, a woman who was Joes supervisor spoke with my husband who called to make an agreed payment of 195. I had to work that day, which is why I asked my husband to call and pay the 195. Joe must have been busy doing something else because his supervisor answered the phone. The woman manipulated my husband to make two payments of 195 instead of one It was a mistake, so I called when I got out of work and asked them to put the money back. The supervisor tried to convince me we need to pay more, but I reminded her I spoke with Joe last week about the 195. She said she'd do it. However, I noticed that I was charged a third deduction of 195! I called back and was hung up on. I called my bank and they put a stop payment on the earlier 2 payments. 2 weeks later, a payment of 195 was automatically deducted from my checking account without my permission. This was not ok- we had planned on paying the bill the next week because we had to pay rent and buy groceries. I called and asked her to put the money back since I did not agree ever to have automatic payments deducted, and she said they could "just take" all the money I had and "take" my car, and I was "lucky to have a car at all" and told my husband I was bad at managing money. She accused me of "yelling" at her. The tone of my voice was most likely unpleasant because we live on a very fixed budget and are barely making ends meet. An unauthorized, unexpected automatic payment of $195 derailed us and caused great inconvenience. We had to pay rent late and are still behind with our phone bill because of this. The woman was very rude and unprofessional, completely lacking empathy and probably doing something illegal. Joes supervisor also refused to talk to us about a payment arrangement. It seems as though would not allow Joe to speak with us anymore. I filed a dispute with my bank which is still being investigated. Luckily, we only have a few more months of dealing with them. I am having to close my bank account and send payments via certified mail. I would not recommend dealing with this company at all if you can help it!!! Our credit was pretty bad at the time we bought the car- I guess when your options are limited, Joes supervisor at new reach thinks it's ok to bully the customers and take as much money as they want if they feel like it.

My husband and I left Rockland ME heading down to Massachusetts when we noticed a thumping noise…read morealmost like a flat tire right outside Wiscasset. We found Greg's auto service and Rick was right on it and after a test drive had the vehicle up on the lift within minutes. That tire was about to fall off! He tightened up the lug nuts which were very loose on that tire and he checked all the others as well. What a great guy and that goes for his partner as well. And you could see the relief in their faces knowing they had averted a disastrous outcome for us. Thank you!!
