Called and made an appointment for tires. Was given an appointment and told they had the tires in stock. Went to the appointment and they only had three tires to fit my vehicle. Was informed after they started the work. Have to go back for fourth tire. Hope they inventory before they start work in the future. Time is money. read more

This place is absolute garbage. I took our vehicles to them for inspections because we moved from NY. They tried saying that my sons truck a 1994 chevy truck needed the front end rebuilt. Witch it was just done a year ago. It has passed every year in ny I am a nys certified state inspector. So.i will be making a complaint with the state of Maine and pursuing it further. read more

If there was no stars I'd give that! I brought both my vehicles in there last fall and between them and the tires I spent about $5-6k on repairs! I brought one of the vehicles back for a sticker and some more work but my girlfriend wrote her name on the envelope instead of mine when we dropped it off. They called her up and proceeded to tell her that there was something wrong with almost everything that they had put in just the year prior but didn't connect it cause they have their sh** together there so we'll Anyways the scam couldn't of been more evident! Then when I told him who I was and about all the work we'd had done the year before he was EXTREMELY RUDE to me IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMERS!!!!! He had no problem letting me know he ran the garage! I asked to speak w Dave the owner and he told me he wasn't available but he'd spoken to him! I will never go back here!!!! Good luck!!! read more

I was in the area over the summer and my run flat developed a huge bubble. I called everywhere in the Bangor Brewer area for a tire. The majority of shops couldn't help me at all, some quoted me 5 days and some 3 weeks before they could get the tire. The closest dealership for my car is in Massachusetts and when I called Portland they said I was out of luck! I needed to drive back to Boston in 2 days for work! I was freaking out! The last call I made was to Twin City Tire and David Matson got my tire and installed it in less then 2 days. When Im home Twin City is the only place I go! read more

until recently I would have given 4 maybe 5 stars because they are all so nice and I trusted them. I bought my new tires Aug 2017. Several times over the last 6 months or so I said it didn't feel like the tires were right. I was told (when there for oil changes and tire rotation) they were fine. Finally in July I knew something was wrong and it wasn't me. Took it in and it needed some part (approx$1000) but I'd taken the extended warranty so to be covered I took it to Darling Honda in Bangor. I was assured that was the problem, not the tires, although when asked they admitted they forgot to rotate them with my recent oil change. At Darlings they fixed the part but marked "needs new tires" on the receipt- when I asked, I was told they are shot- what? after less than 1 year? went back to Twin City who looked again and said yes they are shot- "well, you put almost 20k miles on them and that's all they are warranteed for, plus the roads in Maine are rough on tires" and I said "so what! you know I have to drive to NY and Ct so why would you sell me tires that I have to change every 20k miles? and not tell me! plus, I've never had this experience before with my old mechanic (in NY)" . I was then told they had to be replaced before my next oil change or they could do it that day. Thankfully, I called Good Year myself and found out the warranty on the tires is for 60k! not 20! SO TWIN CITY LIED and tried to get me to buy another set. Needless to say I got my replacement at Sullivan Tire in Brewer down the road and Good Year prorated the tires to compensate me for the other defective ones. I would never trust Twin City again, and suggest that no matter how nice they are, doesn't mean they are honest! Beware. read more
