The Rosaasens are an amazing team and some of the kindest people I have met. I previously worked…read morewith Dr. Rosaasen, and during that time, he took great care of our family. At the time, he ventured on a new path to manage his workload, which was a very smart move. (insurance coverage issues). That brings me to why I am writing this today. I returned to this group two years ago and was assigned to a Physician Assistant I didn't know, Taelor Young. I truly STRUCK GOLD! Taelor is an incredible professional who genuinely cares about her patients. She has the perfect ability to be kind and suggestive while, at times, revealing her inter "Biggest Loser Coach" side, which I needed to keep me motivated and accountable. I started my health journey at 525 pounds. When Taelor began working with me, I was at approximately 410 pounds. Today, I can share that I have broken into the 200s. I did the work with her expert guidance, and I cannot thank her enough! This entire group and all staff are amazing. To the Rosaasens: thank you for finding such a gem. These people truly care, and I highly recommend them to anyone seeking guidance for their health care and weight loss. Tom

I would give 0 stars if able. My family has been dealing…read morewith Rosaasen Family Medicine for approximately eight years as the primary care provider for my mother-in-law. Eight years ago, she suffered a devastating stroke that left her 100% incapacitated. Since then, she has been on and off hospice care several times. Recently, she was discharged from hospice and needed a follow-up appointment simply to continue her Keppra prescription. Transporting her to an office visit is an extremely difficult and traumatic process. She requires medical transport, becomes frightened and confused when taken out of her familiar environment, and often screams throughout the entire outing due to her condition. This is distressing not only for her, but also for our family, office staff, and other patients. Given these circumstances, I requested a telehealth appointment. The receptionist informed me that telehealth had ended but that the office would be happy to conduct a telehealth visit for $80 instead of her normal $5 Medicare copay. As the owner of a medical billing company, I explained that Congress extended Medicare telehealth flexibilities through the end of 2027. I was told the doctor would be consulted and that I would receive a return call. Unfortunately, no one ever called back. I left two additional messages, and neither was returned. What is most disappointing is not the refusal itself, but the complete lack of communication and compassion shown toward a severely disabled patient who has been under this practice's care for years. Healthcare should be about patient care first. In this situation, it felt as though financial considerations were given greater importance than the well-being of a vulnerable patient. I hope the practice reconsiders how it handles situations involving elderly, disabled, and medically fragile patients who cannot easily access in-person care.
