This is a tough one. I'm going to start with the pros because I haven't figured out my rating yet. Pros: Very clean, great selection of pedicures to choose from, pedicure itself was awesome, quiet (though it was a Monday and I'm never sure if quiet is a good thing when kids are back to school...so benefit of the doubt...I'll put it in the pros). Cons: On the expensive side, staff is NOT happy (a customer actually made a comment while I was waiting about how miserable her nail tech was (a guy) ), two girls looked like they'd rather be anywhere but working, and the girl who did my pedicure always looked like she was ready to burst into tears (and not because of my feet!)....the only nice social guy was the one doing my daughters nails...and at least he engaged in conversation. The shellac options were ok but the girl was asked 3 times if they had a particular color and didn't answer us until the last time (she looked like she was hating on someone big time. ...I was relieved she wasn't doing my pedicure). The guy seemed aggravated when I decided I didn't want tips put on, but my daughters manicure looked great. Ok...so after all this....3 stars. Cleanliness, the options of the pedis, and the nice guy who did my daughters nails & pedi. Can't recommend or not recommend...I'd say try it out & make your own judgement call. read more

Im very picky with my pedicure and I was definitely impressed with this salon. I came in 20 minutes before they closed and they had no problem giving me a pedicure I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the place. There was disposable liners in the foot bath and all the materials had been portioned out per costumer. The place was beautiful and very modern. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the staff wasn't very friendly, not one person in there tried to converse with me. read more

I moved to Epping three years ago. I have no idea why I keep going back. Maybe because they are very clean? Which they appear to be. But the service? Forget it. Went there this past Saturday again. Awful. New guy I had never seen. Wanted to watch some moronic show on TV about guys pranking one another. Rushed through the pedi...except for the best part, the leg, foot massage. But that was only because he was wrapped up in the TV show. My manicure was a joke!!! Cool water soak for a "New York heart minute". No cleaning of the nails, fast shaping and very quick hit with the smoothing block. Then he painted them. Horrible! Still uneven cracks, very light polish color showed my nails were not cleaned and a rough, bumpy look to the painted nails. Had to redo them the minute I got home. All that "special attention to detail" they offer on their website. No one attempts to engage, not sure anyone but the owner can spit out a few English words and they jabber to one another constantly. I, for one, am DONE. No more. Not even one attempt to appreciate your repeated business, cold and sterile. Not a "me time" moment in the least. Save your money. I have found nothing in Epping I like for a mani-pedi but will try new shops as I travel for work instead. Do something nice for yourself, don't go there and save the money. read more

I have gone to Lee Nails several times, and although each time there was something that occurred that made me wonder if I should go back I continued to use their services. The first time I went, I was in a hurry, knowing full well that they may not have time for me. However, the older man (I assume he is the manager - don't know his name) did manage to get me in and complete the nail job in record time. I had an acrylic fill and it came out great. He hurt me with the dremel tool once, and then again with the file, but I assumed it was because he was working quickly, so I decided to give it another go. I went back two weeks later. This time, he appeared to be working on several people at the same time. He would start with me, get up, go to another client, get up, go to another client, and so on, until he came back to me. Plus, it appeared that his equipment was not very clean. I asked him about it and he assured me that it was clean, and even went so far as to clean it in front of me when I was washing my hands. I also noticed that their work areas looked a little dirty, and the tubs that they did pedicures in seemed dirty was well. (Not inside, on the outside, which maybe isn't a big deal, I just happened to notice). While he was working on my nails, he burned me several times with the dremel tool, to the point that I pulled my hand away, and when he was filing, he cut my fingers on each side of the nail. I left with three or four scabs. I thought, ok, all done. Not going back. Should have gone with my gut, but one day...yes...I was in a hurry and they were open, and so...I got both a mani and pedi. Pedicure was great (which is why they got two stars). She did a wonderful job and I am still very happy with it. When he did my fill, I told him about the cuts on my fingers and the burning with the dremel tool. He was very careful this time, and I had no injuries! Woot woot! So far, so good.When he was done putting on the polish and my nails were dry, I got up to go to the restroom. Unfortunately, I was still wearing the pedicure flip flops, and someone had dragged wet laundry over the floor. There was no sign or anything to warn a client that the floor was wet, so unfortunately, it was like stepping on ice and down I went. They all came running - he asked if I hurt my head, which I had not. I did, however, hurt my knee and hip. They were all yelling at each other in Vietnamese, so I have no idea what they were saying, but he finally told me to take my time getting up. I eventually managed to get back on my feet, though very shaken up. Really...adults should not fall down! It's awkward! And painful. I fully expected that I would not have to pay for my services that day, given the fact that I had fallen due to negligence on their part, but no. I paid full price. And to top if off, my nails are starting to chip. So now...I have learned a very hard lesson. I will not be going back! read more

I decided to try a new salon, closer to home and all I can say is disappointed. Where you stick your hands into for your nails to dry, was very sticky and bumpy from dried nail polish. It felt dirty. I have gone there three days in row for them to fix my chipped nail polish. I went there to have my acrylics filled and painted. The color I chose on the sample nail pallet was a completely different color than I thought than it was when I chose it. Less than an hour after leaving, my thumb and index finger were chipped. Yes they fixed the polish without charge, but the next morning I had three more chipped nails! Not what I expected and very disappointed. read more

My friend and I went into Lee Nails in Epping today, expecting good, quality service. from the minute I walked in I could tell that maybe the place wasn't so popular. I got seated pretty fast. as soon as the guy doing my nails started speaking to me, immediately he was rude to me, cutting me off, not listening to my requests about MY nails, etc. he then proceeded to file my nails SO hard that I was almost tearing up and I could not physically take the pain. the electric nail file cut my fingers so many times and every time he scolded me and told me not to move. once that 30-45 minutes of torture was over, he took another 15 to file and shape them correctly and didn't listen to a thing I said or asked him to do. he did not use a top coat on my nails and when I went to leave my nail polish was smudging, coming off everywhere & my hands were in so much pain. that was by FAR the worst experience & service I have ever had and I've been getting my nails done for a long time now. truly horrid service. Part 2: I returned to Lee Nails in Epping at 7 to get my nails redone. when I walked in the door the man who did my nails looked more than displeased. he told me that they had no time for me so I needed to come back in a half hour, so at 7:30 (when he knows they close). so I did as he said. once I returned he seated me and I didn't get service until 8. and to start he blamed the mishap on me. then he continued to complain about how I made him stay later than he was supposed to. he was increasingly rude & he rushed my nails and there was absolutely no improvement. I am now more than displeased and completely disappointment and will not be returning there again. read more

Nail salon is super clean! Only local salon that gives you plastic insert on every pedicure so just your feet hit the tub, not everyone else's feet! Owner, David, is very nice and provides an excellent nail service. Give them a try and you will be pleased. Schedule an appointment for your service unless you don't mind running the risk of waiting a few minutes. Great place! read more

I went to this salon twice. The first time was okay, not great, but okay. I decided to give it a second try. Big mistake. I supposedly had an appointment at 10:00 am. I showed up about 9:55 and no one was there. Okay, I can wait, About 10:05, they finally showed up. I went in, said I had an appointment with Hainson, they seemed surprised, I waited a few minutes and Hainson came and got me. He also seemed surprised that I had an appointment. I showed him my appointment card and he still seemed surprised. (He made out the card himself on my first visit.) I was scheduled to have a full set done. He had told me during my first visit that my nails were not done professionally. Like an idiot, I believed him. He now was saying that they were not bad at all so he just did a fill. Well, it was the worst fill EVER. I left there with my fingers sore from him cutting me with the dremmel tool. While I was there, another person came in who also had an appointment with Haison at the 10:00. She was not happy that she had to wait. While Haison was doing my nails, he left for a few minutes and then came back. Well, he left to have a smoke!!!!!!! Are you kidding me? As a non-smoker, I almost gagged by the smell of his breathe. He is only inches away from me. GROSS!!!!!!! They are not any cheaper than other salons in the are, they are actually a little more expensive. I don't mind paying a few extra dollars, but I am not going to spend it there. I will never go back. read more

Went there on Tuesday got a mani pedi. ..my pedicure is great but the girl who did both my hands and feet had very shaky hands...Wednesday the day after I noticed my fingers were chipping I hadn't done anything extensive so idk why they were chipping but I called and a man told me he would fix them...went in on Thursday the same girl asked me how many nails and you could clearly see it was all of them...I had designs on both of my ring fingers...We thought we had the right color but it was just a little off...She decided she was just going to paint the tips of my ring finger to avoid redoing the design as she didn't do it to begin with one of the other women did...then I noticed the color was off and she asked me if I wanted her to remove paint and redo it and I said yes please...She proceeds to paint and then goes to apply top coat I then ask if the other women can redo the design and she asked me if I wanted design again and I said yes as I had already paid for it on Tuesday. ..She proceeded to tel me she already applied top coat so I at this point was frustrated and told her she has nail polish remover and could take it off..She wasn't happy with me but I wasn't getting my money back and I wanted the design. ..She took the Polish off redid it and the other woman did the design...today is Friday I woke up to my thumb nail already cracking...I normally go to regal nails in walmart but didn't have cash for a tip so I figured I'd try this place out...next time I will make sure I have cash...I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANY OF MY FRIENDS OR FAMILY! read more
