She did amazing on my cuticles, applied remover, pushed them back and took her time cutting them. She was very gentle when filing my nails and didn't hurt me or be ruff. My polish looks amazing! My nail tech was super unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. Not only did he spend most of my session talking and on his phone, but he also smelled the fruit he used on my legs AFTER using it. My nails look like they are 3 centimeters up. 7 months later- my nails still are lifting off the nail bed. It's been a horrible experience. I've been coming here for years because it's so convenient and I can frequently get in last minute. They are never particularly nice and services are usually acceptable- nothing more, nothing less. This time I called for an appointment and when I arrived the guy was clearly annoyed that another paying customer was bugging him. Not exactly rude just seemed bothered by ? His job? His life? His $hi**y attitude? Then he told me I didn't have an appointment to which I said I had just called. Then it became that I took too long? He didn't like it when I asked if there was a problem. Popped in yesterday around 11 a.m. to use a gift certificate I had gotten for Christmas. I got a Raw Earth pedicure & full set of gel nails with gel polish on my fingers and toes. I was seated immediatly, asked what I meeded to make myself comfortable, & was offered a drink. The Lady proceeded to start my pedicure & cary on with a very nice conversation! They switched over to someone else to paint my toes and start my full set. They carried my bag and my shoes over to the table & started my manicure right away. Update got my nails done Thursday evening my wedding was Saturday they held up through lifting and decorating. It's now Wednesday and still they are no chips ! Not clean, especially the waiting area. Nails tools, files, buffers not clean. Obviously used and I've never seen anyone disinfect in between customers while getting my nails done. Cut my cuticle and the tech applied pressure with his bare finger. I went to wash my hands because that's not safe for the tech nor myself. Went in for a pedicure after a long day at work. It was around 5:15 when I arrived. The place closes at 7. The staff were super friendly and the place was spotless. Didn't feel rushed or like they were in a hurry. I'm a germ freak so I was happy, happy, happy when the tub for my feet had a new plastic baggie placed on it. Mindy did my onsen pedicure and she was the best. Very friendly and spike great English. Cut my nails exactly as I requested. Massaged my legs and feet for a solid 35-40 minutes. It was amazing! Pedicure was $45 but it took a good hour and fifteen minutes for my pedicure and definitely worth every penny. This place will be my regular monthly pedi/mani for sure! read more

Caution: Enter at your own risk. This was my second time at this salon and here are my experiences. First Time: 1. I could not understand the person doing my pedicure due to his accent. I asked him to repeat himself several times. When I still could not understand what was being asked, the 'manager' named Tony yelled at me as if I was hard of hearing. I am not. It very awkward and rude of him to embarrass a customer especially when all they are trying to do is answer an employee's question. 2. Second Time: * Person doing my pedicure used the nail cutting tools from the last customer. He started to spray them with alcohol instead of getting a fresh sterilized set. When I asked him to get a sterilized set, he balked. Then he went to the back room and came out with a set in a paper bag, said they were sterilized and proceeded to spray them with alcohol again. I asked him why if they were sterilized already and he said to make them 'extra clean'. I really didn't know what to think and it put me in a difficult situation. He was otherwise pleasant and worked hard. * An older woman did my finger nail clean up. I did not have a manicure with nail polish. All I had was my cuticles cleaned up and the nails buffed. When I got the bill, it was $20. I asked what a very basic manicure costs she said $15 but because she used a buffer to put a shine on the nail instead of leaving them flat, she said "$5 extra." She never asked me in advance if I wanted this upgrade or informed me of the charge . She just did it, charged me and waited to see if I would notice and basically didn't care that I did. Buffing nails to a shine is standard procedure in most salons I've ever been in. Bottom Line: its not about the money, but the sneakiness, dishonesty and again putting the customer in an awkward situation. Summary: The staff who does the work is mostly very young, very nice and work very hard. The owners however, seem to have contempt for their customers, a lack of respect for their employees and don't understand that incidents like these undermine their business reputation and profitability. It was $57 for a basic pedicure and basic manicure not including tips ($15). Needless to say, I won't be back to get shaken down. There are other places to spend your hard earned cash that do as good or much better job but I'll let you be the judge of that. read more

Cute New salon, unfortunately they do not listen to what you want. I reiterated 4x that I wanted to soak off my pink and white nails to get pink and white ombre nails. They soaked off, and after a couple hours, I walked out with too short pink and white nails.....bc he admitted he wasn't listening when I again said I wanted ombre. I soaked off and got the same exact thing done again, even though it wasn't what I asked for, and then got charged regardless. read more

Today was my first and last visit to this salon. I arrived at 3 for a gel mani and regular pedicure ($27). After waiting 15 minutes, I was taken back for my pedicure. The man doing my pedi didn't utter one word the entire time- he barely made eye contact. After my pedi, he led me to a table where I assume I was to wait on him to return to do my manicure. But he simply said nothing and disappeared! I sat there for 30 minutes watching new customers come in and get their nails started. There were several employees walking around with nothing to do as I just sat there feeling entirely invisible. Finally I stood up to leave and explained that I had waited long enough. No apologies were made for the lack of customer service or my wait- and I was charged $29 instead of the $27 that was posted in the menu. I took my grandmother here to have her acrylic nails removed and they were the most gentle nail techs I've ever seen. They carefully soaked her nails and filed them down (multiple rounds) and removed the acrylics with no damage to the nail bed and without causing her any pain. We live an hour away and were in Pinehurst for the day but I plan to return to this salon in the future. It is beautifully decorated as well and has a great selection of polish colors. read more

I went on a Sunday, and the salon was not busy at all. Asked for a pedicure, given the usual menu to choose what type of pedicure. I select the honey massage, emphasizing to be careful with my big toe that was recently injured, still bruised and very obvious it was sore. An older woman approaches and begins the task. Water is lukewarm and she is having a difficult time understanding that I would like warmer water. After asking to please address two ingrown toenails she only attempted one. Then the massage starts, which was about as gentle as a chiropractic adjustment, I mean literally, my body was bouncing all over the chair. Absolutely nothing about that pedicure was relaxing, soothing, or pampering. I left feeling, well, just irrigated, and that's not what I paid for. She put my flip flops on for me and later when I took them off my pinky toe polish was all on the inside if my sandals, and guess What? No polish in the outside of my pinky toes. I called weeks in advance to book an appointment for me, my eight bridesmaids, my mother and mother-in-law to get our nails and toes done for my wedding. Knowing that we would be on a severe time crunch, I asked if they could block off all appointments for that time considering we would be filling up the entire salon. The manager told me that they would close the shop to all walk-ins and not schedule any appointments so that we could use all of the people in the salon. When we got there at our appointment time that Friday, the salon was filled with other people. There was even a lady there who had an appointment at the same time that I had made our appointment for. We sat there for an hour before any of us even started to get worked on. None of us were worked on at the same time and we were all finished at different times. If I could rate with zero stars I would . Horrible first and last experience. First of all I was there for a total of two hours and only got my nails painted with gel polish. I went in originally asking for a full set. They kept switching between technicians so then there was lack of communication with what I really wanted done. Finally the first guy comes back and I tell him full set. He ask how long I wanted my nails I said short and square he says ok about the same length as your real nails I say yes. He says ok I will just do it on your nails then I said ok. So as he is doing them I ask how much he says $40 for a full set and $30 if it's on my own nails . I say ok and he carries on. Mind you as he is doing my nails he is getting up every 5-10 mins to go do something for other customers and he was not the only tech there. So he finally finished and I go to the counter to pay. He doesn't even come up there he goes to do another pedicure. Finally the other tech comes to assist me after about 5 mins and tells me $40! I'm like what!!?? You didn't give me a manicure of any kind nor did you add nails! It looks exactly how it looks if he would have just painted them with gel polish. She yells back to him he says no it's a full set because I added acrylic to her nails. By this time I'm furious not only do my nails look the same but now they feel super thick and cluttered underneath from the acrylic. I will never go back to this place! I would have went to my normal salon tech but she was closed unfortunately. DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL GET OVER CHARGED AND NOT EVEN RECEIVE WHAT YOU ASK FOR!
