The people are very pleasant but the nails were not the best... I kept asking him to make sure the nails were straight and the same shape but some are longer than others, more square, bumpy (i got gel), or crooked. I asked multiple times to fix my nails and nothing was done so i ended up just getting a solid color rather than the design i went there for. My sister asked for "aura nails" and they weren't quite what she was expecting. read more

I went here to get my nails and toes done for the first time and overall they did a great job. I know I wasn't the most simple customer but they still did their best to accommodate me and overall did a great job on my nails. I asked for the reference photo and I'd say they delivered. Only reason I took a star off is I wanted to get a matching pedicure but because toenails are so small they couldn't do the same design on my toes. I went in for lash extensions and got a clumpy as glue with three layers of lashes when I requested a natural look. To started I've been done this before in different place/state. That I know of the first step is usually clean/wipe around the eyes before starting. My eyes were watering so much during the process because glue had gotten into my eyes. I couldn't drive comfortably on the way home that I had to remove the corner piece on my right eye. Without removing I couldn't drive properly, every once in a while I still had to stop because of how much pain my eyes felt and the heaviness on my lashes. Apart of the glue setting felt like I was being pinched in the eyes. (I was staying about 1 hr 30mins away.) When I got home I had to remove them. It took 3 hours to remove the glue with adhesive lash removal and even then it wouldn't come off nor with oil or hot soapy water. I had to cut some of my naturals because of the pain and how I wanted them off so badly. I know two other people that went had gotten the same thing where their eyes felt heavy and clumpy. They had to remove not even three days later themselves. read more

Went to this nail salon on recommendation-WRONG - ughh where to start i am yes very particular about my nails first i hate motorized files they ruin nail beds - I asked do you have to the guy said yep I should have walked out - then he proceeded to fill a bow with super hot water that he wanted me to put my finger tips in it friggin burned and when I yelped he said oh is it to hot Yessssssss Then he moved me over to someone else that proceeded to to take my wet nails and further abuse them with a motorized file to remove the polish not once asking me if it was okay the polish is okay but then what is it with nail salons and course files i had to redo the filing when i got home thank god i see my regular manicurist when i get back ... will not ever go back to this place Horrible read more

I have always enjoyed this salon, despite it being one of the least popular in the area. I came in for a pedicure today (the first one in a long time, I was excited) and it was completely rushed. They didn't spend time on the sugar scrub, it was merely applied and rinsed. Then they spent absolutely no time on the hard-rock scrubber, they didn't even hit my heel on one of my feet. The lotion portion was wonderful with a good massage and the polish is great despite my cut not being even. I never leave reviews, and have always gone to this place when I could afford to treat myself. But this was so disappointing. I paid and tipped generously, but this was $60 not well spent. This nail salon is so overrated, the facility is a nice clean salon with newer equipment I give them that. But they are super short staffed and the place is so busy. And they don't do a good job, I had the lady redo two of my toe nails because they were smudged and smeared around. And my fingernails weren't filed properly nor got the cuticles cleaned out very well, they look like what I would do at home not what I would expect out of a nail salon. read more

My mom and I waited over an hour and a half to get our nails done. She was moved from the waiting area to the pedicure chair where she thought she was going to be seen, but waited OVER an hour with her feet shriveling up in the water. They were attentive and changed out her water once it got cold from sitting there. The employees are friendly and they make everyone wash their hands as soon as you come in which is nice. The music was good and the food channel station they had on the tv got me through the two hours of being in there- just for a basic gel manicure. I wish we were offered a beverage like tea or water while we waited or told that the wait was going to be over an hour upon arrival. The execution was good and my nails look nice. I can't spend 2 hours in a nail salon just for a gel manicure so unfortunately, I will not be returning. Edit: it's now been three hours and my mom is still not out. She got a basic mani and pedi, you'd think she was getting a whole spa service done. read more

Been to almost every nail place in the Aberdeen SoPines area and have been SO disappointed in the quality of the nail sets I've received. That is until I found OMG Nail Bar. Legit one of the more beautiful nail sets I've ever gotten. I came in with the most ugly set 2 day old set from another place. The only reason I gave this place 2 stars was for our nail techs. Maryann was super sweet and very thorough during my pedicure. My husband and I waited over an hour for our pedicure to get started. They did place us in the massage chairs which made us think they were starting right away, but that was a trick. We both ended up taking our feet out of the water because they were getting pruned. I did tell them that I also needed a manicure when we walked in, but that wasn't even acknowledged until the pedicure was done. I ended up walking out after waiting 30 more minutes for the manicure. A little Communication would have helped this review... and maybe not taking more clients than you can handle at one time... read more

I was a first timer at this nail salon 2 days ago because my usual go-to place was super busy (Galaxy nails), and I was hoping to get a new set and have both of my girls hands/toes painted. Everyone was sat quickly, and the ONLY reason I am giving them 2 stars rather than 1 is because the women who painted my kids nails were very nice and patient with them. As far as me, I sat and told them I had glue on nails on that were really thin and only needed about 5-10 minutes maximum to soak off. I started speaking my nails in the boiling water that scaled my fingers while he kept saying no no it's not hot.... And I'm like dude, maybe it isn't to you, but it's burning my fingers. So then he gets more acetone to cool it down some. I soaked for about 4 minutes and he was like hmm you need to soak more (almost all of the false nails were gone, only some residual was left that would take maybe 2 more minutes to come off completely), so he then asks some other employees what they want from Starbucks and proceeds to leave without saying a word to me. The women were like oh ha ha he's getting Starbucks quickly. Well, I wiped the rest of the false nails off by myself because no one else offered to assist me a couple minutes after he left and sat there for about 25-30 more minutes waiting. The kids had been done for a bit by now and we're getting restless, so I got up and asked to pay. No no I can do your nails for you right now. Ok, why couldn't you offer that whole time I sat there for a half hour twiddling my thumbs? I tried explaining that the point of them getting their nails done while I did was to occupy them so I was able to do what I wanted done. I don't enjoy complaining, but the fact that he left me right after he started services to go to Starbucks, which is always busy, and didn't say a word to me about it, really rubbed me the wrong way. The guy was younger and wore hazel eye contacts. He seemed annoyed he had to do my nails at all. I am Vietnamese, so I understand the culture.... But geez, this was just not good business. read more

I asked for a specific color, I was asked to look for the color behind the counter. I had to get on the floor and look for the color I wanted. I don't work there, I don't know how things were organized and there was no obvious organization system, simply chaos. I didn't find the color so I found one similar, however it was not the brand I wanted. I want a specific color and brand because I have had bad experiences with the salon's brands in the past. I tried to calm down, and understand what could be happening. As I sat down, there was a snow globe in the middle of the table, so I moved it. She moved it back and put my hand on the snow globe. WTF. Then she smudged 3 nails on my left hand and they are not filed correctly. I will never return, and I will attempt to talk anyone out of going there. read more

only nail salon in the southern pines/aberdeen/pinehurst area worth going to! very clean and sanitary. this salon feels luxurious and gives you that spa feel. the nail techs here are incredible! this is the only place around here that actually knows how to shape and do intricate nail designs. not crazy expensive either! read more
