First time I've been in this now salon the service was very fast. I called and got right in same day I went in for a pedicure. I'll have to tell you that my pedicure technician daniel was very good at foot massage. Very good and that's what I love. I've been here a few times. It's honestly hit or miss. They always do a good job on my nails and toenails but the service is pushy. This time when I went, I'm thinking the employees were just tired. And that's okay, I get it. But for every service I was constantly pushed to upgrade and it didn't seem very warm. My feet were in the water for a total of 4 minutes, I guess I just expected a bit more of a soak and relaxing time. On a positive note, she gave a great calf massage. The massage chair I was in for my pedicure was having some issues as well. I couldn't get it to turn on. I asked the woman doing my pedicure if it worked and she nodded her head yes but didn't help me. I showed her that the remote's screen was broken and I stated that i couldn't get it to work. She just continued working on my toes. Maybe she didn't understand me..? Again, hit or miss with the service. I wouldn't not come back here but it wouldn't be my first choice. read more

I booked my appointment for 11:30 AM this morning around 10:30 AM and ended up arriving about 15 minutes early. To my surprise, they took me right away! Helen did my nails, and I mentioned that I wanted to try a new shape but was also nervous about the health of my nails. She was so kind and patient, and she took amazing care of them. Instead of pushing acrylics, Helen recommended builder gel since it's healthier for my nails--and I'm so glad she did! She prepped my nails beautifully, paid close attention to my cuticles (which are super important to me), and made sure everything looked perfect. She worked quickly but with care and precision. The whole experience was calm, peaceful, and honestly one of the best nail visits I've ever had. The vibes were great, the staff were welcoming, and every client who left before me had beautiful nails and pedicures--and big smiles. Pricing was also super reasonable, which made it even better. Won't be going back. They rushed my elderly mother in law with a neuro disease around when she got a mani & wax. I also got a pedicure - I don't think the tools were cleaned between clients, the spa massager chair was broken so I didn't get my back massage, and I let my nails cure for 2 days in sandals, wore athletic shoes on Sunday and my nails polish was completely mushed and weird. Must have been crappy old polish, never had that happen before! My nails were trimmed all crooked too which wasn't a big deal to me until the paint completely failed. We came as a walk-in, and got placed at chairs with FREEZING water for 20mins. When the tech finally started it was TORTURE. It was absolutely painful. I don't know who pissed her off but she took it out on my feet. I tho l it's okay to normalize saying no to walk in when you're too busy. My feet are actually burning from the pain. read more

I've had Kim give me two pedicures so far. She is friendly and went above and beyond. I had lost both my big toe nails last year, and couldn't get a pedi for a long time. I went in to have a consultation, and she said she could add hard gel to make the nails look fully grown. They were about 3/4 grown at that point. I left with a beautiful pedicure, and had a wonderful foot/leg massage too! I've gone back for a "fill", and Kim continues to do an excellent job! Everyone there seems very nice, and the place is clean, which is important to me. I will continue to go back monthly, and will ask for Kim! read more

Rude tech told me if I wasn't gonna have a complete new set next appointment, not to come back. Screw her- I NEVER WENT BACK..... & That's after waiting 30 minutes for a SCHEDULED appointment that was made 10 days in advance. Dont waste UR time. Avoid this place. I have been going here now for a few months and have had no problem with service or otherwise. They have done exactly as I requested and a 10 minute wait is nothing compared to other places I have tried before. The only time I lost any nails was after a 3 week trip to Italy and that's understandable. They greet me with kindness and a smile and always have a positive vibe and atmosphere. read more

I'm conflicted about my visit to Lees. I've been before, probably about 2 years ago, and my biggest issue then was that they push the up sell. My daughter wanted a manicure and begged me to go with her. I agreed only if I could get a pedicure. I had no problem getting a same day appointment on a Sunday afternoon. They have an extensive menu. I knew I was going to just get a basic pedicure. But the hot stone interested me so I decided to upgraded to the next level. Done. Made my decision. As soon as the technician sat with me she suggested other more expensive treatment because ya know, 'you need this it's very nice' oh and gel treatment is the best and $10 more. She got me. Cha-ching. Oh and then sure enough she had to point out that I needed my eye brows waxed. Yeh she was probably right. Sure add that to the check. Cha-Ching. Now I'm down on the table having my eye brows waxed and she says oh you need your lip waxed. Cha-Ching! Ah and your neck and chin. Cha-Ching! Gosh darn it!! She got me. Seriously, next time I go, I'm insisting on the hot stone pedicure ONLY!!! Walked out spending about $90 when I really didn't want to spend more than $45. My upper lip is still stinging. The pedicure was nice but rushed. It's a nice large store front and I was relaxed, for the most part but my mind kept spinning about the cost and how I didn't have the strength to just say no. Unfortunately, this place has gone down hill and more expensive! My nails are still recovering from the damage they caused my hands and feet. I felt if I didn't give into their higher end deluxe service, they did everything poorly. It's too bad because it was a convenient location. The price for gel pedicure was an additional $15! So, I never paid under $60 plus! I hate to give a bad review but it's just not the same anymore... read more

My "deluxe" pedicure took a whopping 20 minutes and was basically a polish change where she rubbed oil on my legs. My feet are in no better shape than when I arrived. Very dissatisfied. read more

I just moved here and came here due to proximity. I asked for a pedicure. They were pushy on the upcharges (gel, more expensive pedicure). She seemed annoyed when I asked for regular polish. I got the deluxe (middle tier) hoping for a good massage and higher quality service. The whole thing felt rushed. The massage was less than subpar and she used barely any lotion. It felt like someone was just gently touching my legs. She asked what color I wanted twice and I told her and referred to it. I wasn't paying attention and on my phone (my fault) and I looked down once she was almost finished to realize it was the wrong color. I didn't have the guts to complain in person but I wanted to warn others. Time to try somewhere else. Just disappointing since it's so closeby.. read more

I would give them a BIG ZERO if l could. I've gone to them 4x having an appt already booked all 4x but each visit it didn't matter bc they made me wait from 30-60 mins passed my appts AND l then they rushed through my appt. Once they made ME take my acrylic off my nails bc they were too busy!! Insane horrible and sometimes rude to customers. My last visit was when l had an appt booked but they didn't have anyone to do my nails. I too have had my nail beds burned as many others have experienced. Sadly not enough people read reviews on YELP anymore so they are always full of customers but never again will l be one read more

If I could give this 0 stars I would! I went two times the nails are uneven, bumpy and the employees are judgmental. I went and the monomer burnt my nails to the point where I almost cried, Katie had chemical waste on her desk OPENED!l. I got a simple long French tip and she didn't give me long nails because she said they look bad, and then did TEN layers of acrylic. AND she cut my finger but continued to put the nail stuff on it. And the vibe is weird! I heard a DOG barking. do NOT take ur gf/ urself or ANYONE here bc it's the worse place to go. Go to someone on insta. At least they know how to do something. read more

You cannot find a better nail salon! This place is an absolute gem and by far the best nail salon I've been to. The nail techs are so kind and patient despite having to deal with these rude-ass Karens. I swear there's some lady throwing a fit every time I'm in there... (eye roll). It smells great in there and I don't feel like I'm choking on the smell of chemicals. My nail lady went above and beyond to give me the most beautiful nails and included every little detail I wanted. She spent a lot of time with me. Be a good customer and make an appointment ahead of time. Do not be a demanding diva and expect to be serviced the second you walk in without an appointment. The service here is alright. They prioritize walk-ins over people who have actual scheduled appointments. One time a mother and daughter had walked in and my nail tech just left me there in the middle of gluing my nails to help them find a seat. I was there for around 5 minutes waiting for her to come back as she helped the walk-ins in the middle of my appointment. To go off that, when you schedule an appointment and it overlaps with someone else, you have to wait awhile before it's your turn (longest I've waited was around 15 minutes) The first time I had went, my acrylic nails didn't even last a week. I had to go back in and get a whole new set (full price). If you want to have a nice experience, I recommend walking in instead of making an appointment because it's completely useless anyways. read more

I had an appointment at 5 , they didn't seat me till closer to 545. I asked for a gel overlay with pink checkered. The hand painted checkers are atrocious and my nails are so thick from how much gel she kept padding on in attempt to make them even. They're bumpy and uneven. While doing the manicure they did no lotion or anything on my hands and white filing and clipping my cuticles she kept hurting me. It was obviously hurting as I pulled away and said ow multiple times. She would giggle and make a comment about my nails being too short but again do it and hurt yet again. read more

F...... F the man doing my pedicure today. Called for 2 pedis I n mom,they asked me to come right. Unfortunately the crazy man did my toes, He was so rushed, I got deluxe pedi with gel. he didnt use sugar scrub until the lady doing my mom toes told him, he was so confused n hurried.... Didn't massage, moved 2 hot stone until they turn warm, he told me ok your pedi was done... While my mom was relaxing with her massage from the gal... They have a variety of packages you can choose and everything looks so clean it's wonderful! Prices are comparable to the area and they work really hard to be diligent with their work. Really affordable but you get what you pay for. The guy doing my nails never cleaned away the excess acrylic build up under my nails. Being that I didn't notice until I got home, I wasn't gonna drive back to get it fixed. A friend recommended this place to me and I drove over half an hour each way to get here. read more

Just moved to Spanish Springs from Sparks, so I wanted to give this place a new try. I'm very impressed. Tom was extremely kind and attentive. He made sure to check with exactly what I wanted and made it come to fruition! They had great rapport with their regulars so you definitely trust the place. It's also very clean and has a nice modern style that helped give you the relax spa feeling. I booked my 2 weeks appointment, and they absolutely have gained a regular with me! This is THE best and only place to go for pedicures. I have gone to enough posh spas and local nail salons to be able to confidently say this place is the best place to go for a pedicure. They use inserts in their tubs so there is zero bacterial cross over from one person or persons to the next. I got the Deluxe pedi and it has everything you could ever imagine even hot stones! I've had hot stone massages which were eh but for some reason hot stones on your calves feel amazing! I am definitely going back and I immediately texted friends telling them to go here. read more

I had mad an appointment to change my nail color . The lady told me that whoever did my nails before did horrible. Proceeded to burn me with drill and say if " I want nice nails .. have to deal with it !" Then I broke my nail and came in to have fixed ... I have been waiting for 30 minutes but let's not forget the same lady that did my nails yelled out .. you will have to wait as you only had a polish change! Needless to say I will NEVER come back to this shop! read more

I used special polish that was supposed to strengthen my nails, even that did not help me. So, Falicia who owns Buckin Nails of a Time in Sola Salon in Sparks advertised on the Nextdoor app. So I messaged her about my nails, and I liked her, so I am giving her a try. Very professional, and I like her setup. I had my 7 year old gdaughter with me, as she wanted her nails polished too. Falicia was so nice and said yes she would love to polish her nails too. Falicia has a cool way she does gels, it was interesting and very different from what I am used to, cool !! It took awhile to build up my nails with gel. Great conversation going on the whole time.. my Gkiddo was hungry and Falicia has a snack drawer, Hadlee helped herself to some cookies and goldfish, that was a really nice touch! I am so happy to have my nails back on now. Hoping my spa keeps them on too, lol. Then it was Hailee's turn. I just figured she would just polish them. Nope!! She pushed back her cuticles and then filed them, and used gel polish, she says she does never uses any other polish except gel polish, wow, that's even better as it stays on longer, and I figured Hadlee would ruin the polish, nope, when she was done , we paid and left and her nails were dried.. The service is excellent and I totally agree with the other reviewer who said that the place is filled with angels. It is! I usually get a basic mani pedi but today I sprung for an upgrade and it was worth it!! I enjoyed a sugar scrub, a massage, hot towels and other fancy treatments. This salon is definitely my go to place from now on. I even have ALL of their info saved in my phone now and for me, that means love and commitment!

I appreciated her quality and when she thought one of the lines wasn't quite straight enough, she took it off and redid it versus just leaving it. She also helped give me some tips on what type of nails might suit my lifestyle since I've had issues with chipping in the past since I play a lot of sports. For pretty much the entire time we were there, I heard the owner constantly commenting Kim and on her work. One minute she was saying she was taking too long, then later saying she needed to hurry up. It felt like Kim couldn't win no matter what she did. Honestly, it made things a little uncomfortable and for my wife... Kim stayed professional the whole time and focused on my wife's nails to make it to perfection. Personally, I rather have a nail tech take her time and do it right than rush through the appointment. Kim deserves a lot of credit because my wife's nails turned out BEAUTIFUL!! We definitely book with her again. I just hope the owner is a little kinder to her staff because from what I saw, Kim was working hard and taking good care of her customers.
