She is so understanding, patient, funny, kind, supportive even when I change my mind 3 times and she will do just about anything to get your dream hair to become a reality WITHOUT risking damage to your head and hair! Just moved an wanted to find a place to do hair an nails for my wife. The women I spoke to was very helpful on how everything works and pointing to me to the best person to talk to. So here is the bad. I was given a list of phone numbers with the individuals names an what they specialize in. So I gave 7 people a call and left messages to everyone single one. Here it is a month later an not one return phone call or follow up from anyone that I called. Don't waste your time with these places that rent out spaces for others to work. This is a salon where they rent out rooms for the beauty folk, hair stylist, aestheticians, nail techs, etc. I came for a haircut with Kristen. I was told by her from 2 employees at my work. So I decided to try her out. So I did my usual where I tell the hair stylist to do their thang. They are the professionals so they know more than I do. As long as they do a style that looks good on my face shape then they are free to do whatever. Im an easy going person. So I let her work her magic. She looked at me funny at first, but I assured her anything she does I will be ok with as long as it looked good with my face shape. And she did an awesome job!!!! Very light and airy, she cut my hair with super confidence and I love that. We spoke about coloring my hair also so that's exciting when we cross that road. Watch out! I tried a.hair stylus there and felt terribly over.charged. She charged me $180 for a trim not a cut, and some color. She had no prices listed for a customer to read. She also shard a room with another person. I thought she was kidding. I should have asked, but never did I except that type of overcharge. I've never been charged that much before in Sparks. I had my hair done by Maddee of Maddee's Manes and I just LOVE the vivid color and how it faded. The color lasted a long time and I got a great price! She asked before layering my hair (A lot of people just automatically do that which is not cool when you have thick hair) so I could say 'no thanks.' She listened to what I wanted and asked me before deviating from any part of that. I am still getting compliments on my hair weeks later! I have found my new Stylist and will be back. I scheduled last minute on a weekend and she was able to squeeze me in which I can't be more thankful with my crazy schedule. Her prices are very competitive with those other places that have 20 people waiting for the next pedicure where you don't even see them really Scrub the tub your feet go in. With Synthia in her private room inside the salon makes you feel catered to which I think we all enjoy when pampering ourselves once in a while. Like 99.9% of other women, I'm very particular about my hair. I haven't had a consistent stylist in years. YEARS. I booked an appointment with LeAnn Birch, as she was recommended by my mother who is also very picky about her hair (before she found LeAnn, my mom would drive 4 hours to her hairstylist in the town she used to live in. True story). So, I was in desperate need of a trim and also wanted to take the leap and get bangs again. I showed LeAnn a picture of how I looked before with bangs. LeAnn had me cracking up the entire time. Not only did I have fun during my appointment, she asked me a lot of questions about what I wanted, to ensure I was happy at the end of my appointment. AND my bangs? Perfect! I have never had a stylist cut my bangs and ask me several times if I wanted them shorter. Usually, in my experience, they cut them to where I say and that's that. Not LeAnn.
