this place is right next-door to where I live, but I've always avoided it because the reviews aren't that great-- but now I have no idea why!! I only had a little bit of time, and I really needed a pedicure, so I stopped in and asked if they could take me in as a walk-in. The place is very pretty and the chairs are some of the best I've ever had in. Amy was able to take me for a pedicure immediately. When I tell you... This was probably the best pedicure I've ever gotten. And I only did the basic package plus gel! I'm honestly in shock I'm kind of annoyed that I haven't tried them sooner. As I was receiving my pedicure, I noticed just how clean the place really is.. I watched another woman dust and wipe down counters and lights that already looked pristine. In fact, I was at Nirvana the other day and I noticed how dusty the lights were.. and not the lights up on the ceiling, but the lights like at the tables. Not to knock them or anything, I do like to get my manicures there... But I will most definitely be coming back and seeing amy again. My wife got her nails done by Kim and she did a great job. My wife got the nude ombre almond shape and they came out exactly how she wanted. The shape is nice and even, the color looks natural, and the whole set looks really clean. She has been showing them off ever since we left!! The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the owner. I speak Vietnamese, so I understood what was being said during the appointment. For pretty much the entire time we were there, I heard the owner constantly commenting Kim and on her work. One minute she was saying she was taking too long, then later saying she needed to hurry up. It felt like Kim couldn't win no matter what she did. Honestly, it made things a little uncomfortable and for my wife... Kim stayed professional the whole time and focused on my wife's nails to make it to perfection. Personally, I rather have a nail tech take her time and do it right than rush through the appointment. Kim deserves a lot of credit because my wife's nails turned out BEAUTIFUL!! I've been trying different nail salons in the Sparks Area close to my house. It's a husband (Leo) and wife (Kerri) who have owned the place for 21 years in the same location. They seemed nice. Mandy was my technician. She was pleasant. My experience was one not to be forgotten, I've never had the technician stop and clean the foot bowl during my service. I didn't get a massage or hot towels, I didn't even get lotion on my legs only up to my ankles and that was barely. I asked if I could use the lotion dispenser as I was leaving, she squirted the lotion not much, and transferred it to my hand. Really? I asked for a Halloween decoration, she added a pumpkin no it didn't look like this and not matching but - it's cute with some glitter, glitter makes things better. Today was my first visit to Nail club. I followed a technician from another salon there. Upon entering, I was very impressed with the cleanliness and decor. My nail technician welcomed me. I was about 3 to 4 minutes late for my appointment and I apologized however it seemed like she had to work extra fast. It also seems like they frown on having conversations. I've had many conversations with my nail tech previously, but in this establishment, it was very quiet. I overheard one lady trying to engage her nail tech in a conversation, but she got nothing but short curt replies! I've come here quite a few times. I definitely recommend making an appointment, as sometimes they only have a few nail techs working. They do accept walk ins, but only if they have someone readily available with no appointments happening. The staff is friendly and this is a very clean salon. Nail Club is a fine establishment at which to get a mani/pedi. There's nothing particularly special about this place, so I cannot justify giving it five stars. For $45 (plus tip), I get an excellent basic mani/pedi. Most importantly to me, it takes exactly an hour including mani dry time. I don't have time for long, meandering spa services, so Nail Club's timing is perfect for me. I also appreciate that the technicians do not try to make small talk with me. Do not get me wrong, I always say my thank you's and how much I enjoy particular aspects of their service. The warm salt scrub massage on my legs is heaven! But I prefer to be left along with my thoughts while getting my nails done or my hair did. I call ahead to book a same-day appointment, and I have never had to wait for more than two minutes before I am seated in a pedi chair. They are open 9:30 am to 7 pm Monday through Saturday, but closed on Sunday. read more

My grandma and I have been coming to Nail Club for years. I've never gotten a manicure, but I've had quite a few pedicures. First of all, they can usually always fit you in the day of as long as you call in the morning. I know they take walk ins but I don't like to risk it so I usually call. They always do an amazing job and I give an amazing massage. Today at my visit I noticed they just got brand new pedicure chairs as well. Last year I unfortunately got my toe smashed and my entire toenail fell off. One of the pedicurist was so kind and gentle to work on the nail to at least get an acrylic on it as I was going to a wedding and would be wearing open toed shoes. She didn't even charge me extra. I can't recommend this place more at least for pedicures. My experience has always been pleasant and relaxing. The pricing is also very fair for the services that they provide. read more

I just had the worst nail experience ever!!!!! When I walked in I stood there at the reception desk. Nobody asked me to go sit down at the pedicure chair nor said anything. So I waited and then since I was the only person there I figured that was the chair for me so I walked over and I said should I sit down? The lady did not say anything at all. So I sat down she ran water into the basin and my feet barely reached the water. I don't know if the chair was able to mechanically go down a little further or what. Then she adjust the recliner part of my chair straight up and down. It was super uncomfortable. Nobody wants to do that when they're getting their nails done and so I said I don't want to sit like that please. So then I reclined it. Still this lady lady has not said a single word to me. Keep in mind when I booked the appointment I did say I was wanting a gel pedicure. She's painting really fast and I never seen her bring the light out. So I said is this gel and then she said it's regular nail polish. I said I booked the gel pedicure appointment. That's why I'm here as a new customer because my place I normally go to only does regular nail polish. The other lady said she can fix that no big deal. So she takes off the nail polish and proceeds to put on the gel polish. The entire time this lady is not talking to me the two ladies in their native language start speaking to one another. The two of them hadn't spoke this whole time. I know they're talking about me. There are times where you think it's happening but this time I know it was happening.Lol Oh, and after she used the file on my feet to get off the dead skin she rinsed it in the same basin where my feet were. Then she used that same dead skin water to rinse some kind of scrub off my legs and feet. So I had mentioned to the salon owner or person who seems like was the manager that it was a very uncomfortable experience. But I had been sitting there and this lady never said a word to me not even to pick out any nail color. She just handed me this ring of different nails painted on a swatch and then I showed her and then she went and got the nail color. I know she could talk and I know she could understand me because when I told her something about my nails she knew exactly what I was talking about and even though she didn't respond she did exactly what I said. When I went to pay she charged me $45 when I was quoted $40 on the phone. Either way $45 isn't much but for this type of service and treatment that I got this wasn't worth $.45. I told them both nicely that it was probably one of the most uncomfortable experiences that I ever had getting a pedicure. I didn't understand how they could just treat people like that and expect him to come back. No wonder when I walked in and nobody was there. Save your money and steer clear of this place! The lady seemed all mad and handled my legs and feet and toes super rough. In case you're wondering if the nail technician spoke English or was maybe mute she was not. I couldn't stand getting my nails done at "Beyond Nails" on Los Altos Pkway anymore so I tried my luck with this place. So far I've done pretty good. I normally get a regular manicure and pedicure. When I get my nails done I always look for the place to look , the equipment disinfected and sanitized, and that the Nail specialist don't cut me. So far all my requirements have been met and I've never had a problem. I did noticed one day that a nail clipper looked a little rusty so I stopped visiting, but it's been so hard for me to find a nail place in Sparks that I decided to give them another chance. What I like the most about this place is that I can walk in. I'm terrible at making appointments for everything and this girls are always willing to take me so I'm a happy customer. The nails specialist are really nice and sweet and they give me such a long massage on my feet when I get a pedicure that I feel for the price is a great deal! Pleasantly surprised after reading mixed reviews. I was in a pinch and called Nail Club because they are right down the street from me. They were able to get me in same day for a desperately needed gel fill. I made an appointment with Karie at 2pm and she had me finished and back in my car by 2:50. I've never had a gel fill be that quick and she even had to take several nails completely off because the lifting was so bad. Upon arriving, I was asked to wash my hands. There was one other customer getting a fill and there was an empty station between us. Someone else arrived for a pedicure and was put in a chair a little further down and the opposite side of the room. And of course, masks are required. As of this review, I have been here twice. The second visit I got a gel fill and a pedicure. I was really happy with the pedicure as well. I just do regular polish on my toes and it has held up nicely. The leg massage was great too! So from my reviews you can tell iv been on the hunt for a good nail salon and let me tell you this place was probably one of the worst iv experienced so far. Right when you walk in the décor is very nice and modern so I thought that would have been a good sign but I was wrong. I went in wanting one of the simplest nail designs I think ever and they completely messed it up. I sat down showed them the picture of exactly what I wanted length and all and when the person finished applying and cutting the nails I told him they were to short I wanted them long like the picture. They looked at me and said, oh well we cant go back and change it. So right after that I was all ready mad because I'm a paying customer I should get what I asked for. then after they finished my nails I was set for a pedicure which I told the lady to not massage my feet or anything like that I pretty much just wanted polish on my nails. Again I showed a picture of a pretty simple design and when they were done it just looked like someone put dots all over my big toe when it was supposed to be a flower. So I told her I didn't like it and she re did it and they still came out no better than before. At that point I was already over it and just so mad with the horrible service I was getting so I just went up to pay. They gave me no discounts for them messing up my nails and charged me for an full gel pedicure even thou all they did was paint my toes because my feet are to sensitive for a massage. So needless to say I will never return and I will let everyone know of my horrible experience there and recommend this place to no one. read more

I used to come here years ago when my grandparents lived right down the street. When they moved away I had no reason to come here anymore...until recently. My husband and I just moved to the Wingfield Springs area and I am MORE than happy to drive a few extra minutes to visit this salon! It was ok. They weren't very friendly, and pedicure is pretty basic, but the price was right. I'm 39 weeks pregnant, so I just needed a job done honestly. I can't reach my feet anymore & it'll be a long time before I can get a pedicure after baby. They accomplished the task of making my toes look pretty. However, it was silent and no one talked to me even a little. She cut my toe when clipping the nail - literally have never had a foot cut before, just fingers, but whatever not a huge deal. This salon is my go to for a mani pedi. They are a bit expensive but I am used to New Jersey prices where there's a nail salon around every corner. I care more about quality however and these ladies here do a very nice job. My biggest pet peeve is when the polish is too close to the cuticle making it look sloppy (or the opposite and you're due for a touch up within a week!) but they know how to get it just right, which is how I measure the skill level. I'd say a shellac polish change took no longer than 30 minutes.
