I contacted Megan Burrell, an agent in John Ratliff's office, got a quote, and authorized the policy. Ms Burrell was having trouble collecting the premium from escrow, so I paid the premium in full for a year, ($1508), via electronic check. Ms Burrell withdrew $1508 from my account three times ($4524) and attempted to withdraw it a fourth time. She would have succeeded if I hadn't placed a Stop-Pay on the electronic check and blocked her from making withdrawals from my account. Mistakes happen, I get that. However, when I brought this mistake to Ms Burrell's attention, she immediately started shifting blame. First to the subsidiary, Heritage Insurance, and then to me. The office manager, Tanney demanded that I produce bank statements to prove that Geico STOLE MY MONEY. They treated me as if I was the one perpetrating the fraud. They claimed that Geico didn't withdraw the funds their sub Heritage stole from me. Then they claimed that they had no record of receiving more than one payment and blamed my bank. As of today 8/25/2020 my money still hasn't been returned to me despite providing all the documentation that they requested to prove their thievery. This is more than horrible customer service. This is criminal. They have stolen from me after I trusted them with insuring my home, vehicles, and the well being of my family. This agency is untrustworthy. They are deceitful liners and should be avoided at all cost.

Which I wasn't opposed to. But the admin calling me would, every time, offer me 2 potential times several weeks in the future. Only 2 options, only far into the future. The options never worked for me. I've never spoken to Tracy. I recently needed to file a claim and learned that my agent doesn't actually do anything to help me with a claim. She/her office apparently is just there to sell me things but not actually be someone who assists me when I actually need insurance. I would recommend you look elsewhere for an agent.

During the call, the receptionist, Brandi, abruptly ended the conversation, claiming it was "not productive" before hanging up. I attempted to call back to speak with Tracey Stidham, the owner, but my call was directed through a series of frustrating transfers before eventually being ignored entirely. As a customer with six active policies at Tracey Stidham's office, I find this level of service extremely disappointing. When paying premiums, I am treated with utmost courtesy, but when addressing issues, I am met with defensiveness and dismissiveness. It is disheartening to be told that my concerns are unimportant and to have my call ended so abruptly. The receptionist, Brandi, hung up on me. And if my concerns are unimportant, then so goes what you think about my family and myself. Except for when you are taking premiums from our melanated, hard working hands. Afterwards, you turn your backside. If I could provide a negative rating, I would ( -1)

Then I began to realize they not only could offer me coverage for any need or application but also provide a level of expertise, experience and knowledge that would be very difficult to find anywhere else--a tremendous value add at no additional cost! At various times in the recent past, one of their agents has recommended a policy or change in an existing policy that I would have never considered or even imagined that ended up providing much more protection, saving me money, improving my life, making my family safer, and avoiding inconvenient oversights or mistakes that would have cost me dearly in both time and expense. The quality and value of the insurance products and companies they represent cannot be overestimated. I honestly don't understand how anyone would purchase a policy direct from any company even if there appeared to be a cost savings (which is rarely if ever the case). I would never consider buying an insurance policy anywhere without first consulting with them or allowing them to propose an alternative. I would highly suggest that anyone reacting to an advertised offer, no matter what the perceived savings might be, should check with them first. When the time comes (God forbid) to file a claim, you'll probably learn the difference the hard way--or just suffer in ignorance. A simple comparison would surely be worth the time. Plus these people are friendly, professional, honest and neighborly too.
