I switched to this agency after being with All State for all my life i.e. over 20yrs. They quoted…read moreme about the same rate as All State with a promise that as I become older customer, my premium would go down. I thought it does not hurt trying them if the rates are about the same. I received the confirmed quote, policy etc via email, but after a month they increased the premium by 50% saying that this is from the Corporate office and there is nothing they could do. They suggested that they could cancel the policy if this new rate was not acceptable to me and they even offered to coordinate with All State to make sure the policy was easily transitioned to All State. So, I cancelled the policy with this agency (and State Farm) and switched back to All State. However, when I received the refund from this agency, they deduced about 15% amount saying this is a cancellation charge, which they did not mention before cancelling the policy. I was fooled to work with them by seeing great reviews here. Not sure if all these reviews are real. But to me, this agency is just pathetic. I wish I could give them a 0 star here. I would never go to them or State Farm and would advise everyone to be cautious when working with this agency.

After over 30 years of paying premiums for home and car insurance, the only interactions I ever had…read morewith State Farm until recently were dealt with directly in Greg Lopeman's office, because the claim amounts were below $10,000. For the 2 or 3 claims we made over that time Greg's office handled everything quickly and fairly, and up until a couple of months ago I wouldn't have hesitated leaving a 5 star review. The trouble comes when you have a claim ABOVE $10,000, at which point the issue is out of the hands of local offices like Lopeman's and moves to "State Farm Corporate" as they describe themselves. These "adjustors" literally call themselves "a different company" from the local offices, and they are trained assassins at denying claims. We recently had water damage due to Tropical Storm Chantal, and the gyrations these clowns went through to deny us coverage were utterly ridiculous. When I proved that their first reason for denial was wrong because they were misreading a mechanical code, they came up with a second, unrelated denial. When I proved that wrong and insisted on speaking to a supervisor, that supervisor came up with yet a third reason to deny our claim, the first major one we'd made in over 30 years. Greg Lopeman is a good guy and does his best to run a fair business. But the fact is that State Farm Corporate is positively mercenary, and will be of no help to you if you actually need it. Look at their Google Reviews: 1.2 stars, and every review reads just like this one. Run, don't walk, from anything to do with State Farm Insurance. When you actually need them to do what you've been paying them for, they are worse than useless.

I called with a bright chipper hello after reading great things about the business online, but the person answering the phone (Kayla) adamantly told me they would not assist me without even providing a consultation. It was a weird experience. Here is a quote from their website, "We offer a free consultation where we listen to your tax issue with compassion in a judgment-free atmosphere. We understand life happens and that sometimes tax issues are part of the journey!" The person who answered my call would not listen to my tax issue. I told her that the website indicated they provide consultations, but she told me she did not know what I was talking about and that they would not be able to help me. Oh well, I will move on to someone else. They may not be lacking for business, but at least they could provide the basics to a potential client by listening to their issue and determining if they could assist. Wow, my experience with this business was unnecessarily unpleasant. Oh well. I just thought everyone else should know just in case they have a good, bad, or other experience with this business. They certainly made a bad first impression on me (I read the reviews prior to reaching out and felt they would be a good fit for me).
