Without a doubt my DoorDash driver thought there was a family of four on the other end. We all know that's why we have them leave the order outside. No rational person wants to feel the searing gaze of judgment. Since we're being honest I think more people should know that you can DoorDash an ice cream cake from DQ. Do with that what you will. And listen when the food is this good it's not your fault if you can't decide what to get any just get one of everything. Every now and again the kitchen does get a little loosey goosey with the spice level and we just have to accept that. Every one of us knows the game we're playing when we order Indian Food. What's unique about Saatvik Swaad is that it has many vegetarian options. While I am not a vegetarian I was happy with the entree I chose which consisted of cauliflower, peas, potatoes, and rice. The servings were generous and I was able to eat half today while saving the other half for lunch tomorrow. I would definitely try this place again!

I would highly recommend it. I'm mainly posting to help people with the logistics, since I didn't know what to expect before I went there. They apparently set up shop at the corner of Edgewood Road and Ellis Road most of the time. I'm terrible with cardinal directions, but I think they were parked on the NW corner. There's a decent sized gravel area right next to where the truck parks. So, there's plenty of space for you to park your car. When you order, they ask what kind of car you're in, and they bring the food out to your car. I did my best to get pictures of the whole menu. In my opinion, the food was more like what I would expect from a sit-down restaurant than a typical food truck. What I mean by that is that I generally expect food trucks to have slightly smaller portions, considerably smaller menus, and quirky menu items. As you'll see from the attached pictures, Natta Thai has a pretty big menu for a food truck. The portion sizes and prices are more commensurate with a sit-down restaurant too, and the menu items seemed pretty traditional to me (although I'm far from an expert). A quick word about spice level: When I ordered my food, they didn't ask me what level of spice I wanted. Most places in Cedar Rapids do, but other places I have lived generally don't. Basically, you'll want to know that green curry is spicier than yellow curry, or whatever. Obviously, you can also look at the pepper icons on the menu, or ask the staff.
