We got to…read morehand-pour beeswax candles and fill a honey bear with fresh, raw, unfiltered honey--such a fun, hands-on activity that even my teenager and her friend loved. Kelley was fantastic, sharing her knowledge of sustainable beekeeping and the care that goes into producing pure, organic honey straight from the hive. The farm gift shop was stocked with incredible raw, unprocessed honey, honeycomb, and beeswax products--we left with plenty! We're so excited to come back this summer for the Honey House Tour, Beehive Tour, Forestry Tour, and Queen Special Tour! Getting to work a live beehive with a beekeeper and see the honey extraction process will be unforgettable. If you're looking for the best raw, organic honey in Indiana and a truly unique farm experience, Hunter's Honey Farm is a must-visit!

So many cool things about that experience... 1) I used a chainsaw for the first time and now I want to cut down all the trees! 2) We put something that wouldn't fit in our car in our relatively new truck bed... it was sooooo big! 3) While I was there, I bought several jars of their honey (again)! They have completely embraced the "hot honey" trend and are making some amazing honeys that are perfect for a nice "drizzle" on pizza, a Christmas ham or even as a sweetener in your green beans or spaghetti sauce! Their service is fantastic and you're even able to taste a few before buying! Go see them for gift baskets or to join their "honey (not jelly) of the month club" #iykyk

Graham's has soap and wax figurines made from the honeycomb. Picture this... You walk into a long room and sense someone standing beside you. Eerie. One week before they called me and scheduled our pick up date and time. The 1 hour drive down SR 135 was scenic once we got south of Greenwood. Downtown Morgantown has it going on! Local businesses, not chains, dominate the Main Street. When we walked into the bee store we found many more beekeepers waiting for the colonies to arrive. Apparently the bees are kept outside of town and brought to town inside this big box truck. Everyone was so nice while we waited for the 'NUC' boxes to be distributed. I spoke with a charter school teacher that lost 4 hives last winter and was picking up 4 more. She was driving a hatchback and I felt way better driving my truck with the bees outside the cab. Great experience, great people here!

You pay a membership fee, and the workers there are part of the ownership. Immediately, you are hit with warmth and just that coziness you want in a local grocery store. Whole Foods ambiance but not corporate. There is a deli and a hot/cold foods bar. Produce and plenty of plant-based options to choose from. We definitely enjoyed the experience .

Anyone who shops here knows unfriendly, rude cashiers are a long-standing norm. But this goes far beyond that. I witnessed deli employees openly mocking and laughing at a customer for wearing glasses, including using fake voices and calling them "nerdy." It was cruel, public bullying of someone who appeared to have an eye disability. The stuff of Disney schoolyard villains. Truly an insane thing to witness from grown men in work uniform on the clock. Here's the really disturbing thing... Leadership didn't even care. I reported it immediately and followed up many times (phone, email, website form, social) asking for leadership to respond. The marketing manager assured me that leadership was well aware of the incident. Two weeks later, I still haven't gotten a single response. I won't support a business that tolerates bullying and ignores people who speak up against it. Vote with your money and shop at the Bloomington Farm Stop Collective, where you can get local food AND be treated with basic human dignity.
