First visit here and was really impressed! We looked around for favorites we haven't been able to find elsewhere and they actually had it...awesome! It was a nice spacious store with all of the liquors categorized and labeled on shelves. My husband has been trying to find Red Stripe in all the stores in town and was surprised they carried it. I used to be able to find the large bottle of Disaronno at Sam's Club but they stopped selling it so it was also a great find. The ladies at the register were really helpful and friendly. One lady helped me find an item I had difficulty locating. When we were rung up at the register, another lady noticed my bottle looked like it may have had a dried spot of something on it, so she went and got me a new bottle. It was a nice surprise find when we were checking out some other stores in the shopping center. read more

I Totally forget about Lee's Discount Liquor, until it's time to stock up. Seems that's the one shop in town I can always remembers the route to. With the hundreds of different products on hand, it's near impossible to name a brand they don't have. I stumped them for years ago looking for an Irish whiskey that's popular in Anchorage. Kinda not fair, I know. I bet if I'd asked they would have found me a case. Lee's showroom is so massive, it's daunting; this allows them to carry the variety that they do. What can I say? I'm a sucker for deals on spirits. I enjoy stopping in to see what new arrivals have come in and if there's anything unique in the tequila or whiskey world. The staff is always helpful if I have questions. The store is also very well lit and clean. read more

Pretty cool place to check this place out on Thanksgiving day I was also shocked but not shocked that they were open on Thanksgiving. I was talking to my ex husband about the biggest little bourbon that they sell at the depot a local restaurant here that is one of my favorites they just steal their own bourbons and I guess they sell it at this liquor store for a cheaper price I went in and they didn't have it on their shelf but they did have it in a different spot and I took the last one I was really excited. It was about five dollars cheaper than when you buy it at the restaurant but it was worth it and they had a lot of options for wines, beers and any other type of alcohol you can think of. I enjoy going to Lee's. Don't get me wrong. But I have a HUGE complaint. I bought a 750 bottle of RumHaven on 7/17/22 at 1654. I realized I needed to buy a second bottle, so I went back immediately and noticed I was charged too much for the first bottle. I was charged $15.49 plus tax to total $16.77. The price tag says $13.99 I took a picture of the price tag and let the cashier know, instead of charging me the correct price, he just said "I'll let them know" and even still rung up my second bottle for the incorrect $15.49!!!! read more

It was okay. Would I go back? Maybe in a pinch if I didn't want to drive the extra mile to Total Wine. Yes, they have a lot to choose from as you can see in my photo that entire wall is almost all vodka! They've also got some good prices on wine but not exactly what I look for in premium (rare) selections such as tequila and whiskey. I just wanted to quickly browse around since they're finally open. If I do go back, I need to take a look at their craft beers. There is a lot of room to maneuver and it's very bright and airy so that's a plus. From my perusing I'd say not much was super duper discounted compared to Costco prices and of course, Whispering Vine. read more

Wine selection is just okay. Pricing is slightly better than average. There are many racks that are empty and have been for months and months. Not saying I wouldn't go back but I surely would hit a few other places as my go to's before returning to Lee's. read more

The entrance was misleading haha. You walk in and it's this huge warehouse-type store with rows and rows of every alcohol. Literally, an entire row of dozens of different bourbons-- as an example. We got two cases of Modelo beer, and fifths of Woodford Reserve (Bourbon Whiskey) and The Botanist (gin) for $108. I thought the selection was great but the customer service left something to be desired. Luckily we got what we came for. read more

Why do I feel like a kid in a candy shop when I walk into a giant building filled with alcohol? Hmm Lee's has tall ceilings, bright lights, cheesy displays, and tons of decent priced liquor, wine, and beer. I would equate it to being the Walmart of the liquor store world. I found some good prices, especially if it is on sale. The Chardonnay selection was good, but there were not a ton of the ones we usually buy. However, they had a few higher priced ones that had a cheaper price than we have seen elsewhere.we also checked out the beer selection, Total Wine has a better beer selection by far, but Lee's sale items and buy in bulk items were well priced. Finally we scopes out the whiskey/bourbon. A fairly solid selection with fair prices. I think I would go here if there were specific items on sale that I wanted, but for me, I enjoy the experience at that other large liquor store in town. read more

Looks like a nice store with a good selection of craft beers - but unfortunately it was shut when I went there on New years day.

Overall a great place to grab just about any kind of alcohol you could imagine. Just about. I was disappointed they couldn't get a specific Guiness that the Lee's in Vegas carries but otherwise they have a great selection of everything, no matter your flavor. Good pricing, comparable to the other large competitor in the area. They were offering free samples of some spritzers while I was there, it cracked me up that the girl giving away the samples had no idea where the product was located that she was pushing. So needless to say, I didn't buy any. Don't forget to sign up for their rewards program if you're a frequent shopper. I shopped here A few weeks ago looking for a specific type of rose for my friends celebration. I don't know much about rose, champagne or Spumantes but the staff here were so helpful in offering suggestions and eventually finding what I requested. There were about 3 staff working that day and all three were courteous and willing to search the store and electronic inventory system. Another worker offered assistance to check the back stock and found three bottles of the the rose. Thank you for the outstanding service! read more

HORRIBLE customer service. I was trying to buy a bourbon for a gift. (I know nothing about bourbon.) I was reading reviews on my phone to find a good one. An employee began facing the bottles in front of me to make them look full. I looked up from my phone and put it away. The employee looked at me, avoided eye contact and continued facing the bottles. I walked towards the front of the store where two more employees were. They shifted their bodies away from me to avoid having to stop their conversation and acknowledge me. I'll pay more and go to Total Wine from here on out. I've always gotten customer service that goes along with paying a little more. So much for trying to shop local instead of box stores. read more

Great prices and huge selection! I went to Lee's because I needed some Tsing Tao beer for our Asian themed bbq and Lee's had so many diverse options that I bought some other beers as well. Close location in South Reno and great staff. Be careful with all of the selection, it can take a while to pick something sometimes but it's always a good experience. read more

Exteremely disappointed in the customer service by the manager here! I bought a bud keg 1/4 barrel. First time from here. I have a kegerator and have run prob 100 plus bud kegs through it in my garage. I got a keg that was flat cloudy and bitter. I get it it, prob been sitting awhile. I brought it back, and got tested like I was lying!!! The manager told me he could do NOTHING for me. Wait till the distributor makes a determination!!! Really? This is a major liquor store. I told him to tap it and try it. He said no. No deposit back either. I had a receipt. He told me check back later. I will NEVER, and I don't use that word, sho there again. Terrible customer service by the MANAGER. only reason no stars, employees are really nice, not there fault You know who I am. Hope to at least get my deposit back, or contest with the bank. First time visit here and so glad I stopped in to this newly opened store. They had exactly what I was looking for! Came from a competitor that didn't have what I was looking for but Lee's had it! This store has the friendliest staff and a wonderful manager who makes it a pleasure each time I visit. I genuinely enjoy coming here and it is now my one stop shop for alcoholic beverages and bar restocking. They are now nearly fully staffed and even when they experienced challenges finding staff due to the current issues surrounding covid, every staff member went above and beyond to make up for it. I appreciate their kind friendly demeanor each time I am in. I recommend this location to anyone on the South end of Reno. read more

So went in here tonight. It's a liquor store. I believe it's a bit smaller than the one at Northtown, but still has all the stuff you need. The guys working tonight were very friendly and eager to help. The also have buyva case get 12 bucks off. SWEET DEAL. Go checkem out. read more

I don't really ever feel very welcome here. There was a girl in a booth that was promoting Sonora tequila that was very nice one time I went it, but I usually see a manager wandering around (acting superior) and an employee at the counter that looks disappointed they accepted a job here. It's cold and uninviting. If you're looking for friendly people working together or a good vibe go somewhere else. As for the inventory they've got a lot, I guess just as much as other big chain stores and a few good deals...but you better be able to find them on your own because you're not going get much of any assistance. read more

I've been going to this store since it's opening and spent a lot of money on their products. In the being the employees have been very friendly and helpful. However, those employees are are no longer employed there. The turn over rate concerning the employees is quite alarming. The employees they have now are rude, demanding and not helpful at all. As you walk down the shops isles, they avoid you and seem uninterested in helping you. Since this change over, I have never had any employee walk up to me and ask if they can help me. I will not be returning to Lee's which is unfortunate for them. I'll be going to many other establishments in town to spend my money. read more

I started going to Lee's as soon as they opened. I was so happy with their inventory but I was most happy with the great staff and customer service. When I would walk in I would be greeted by a friendly person who welcomed me into the store and was happily available to help me find what I was looking for. I hadn't been in for while and was surprised to see that all most all of the original staff was now gone. The people working there now are rude, unfriendly and very unhelpful. Went to return it and was told I can't return it even though the box hadn't even been opened and the seal wasn't broken...Just came from Bens, where I didn't even have a receipt and they took the return. Not going to lie, I've kind of put off visiting this store. I figured it was just your standard liquor store and to me the outside just wasn't that inviting. Well, I decided to stop in one day after work, figured it was time. And wow! Upon first walking in this place looks REALLY nice! It's open and bright and looks very organized and well stocked. I didn't have time to browse the whole store but from what I did see, the selection is incredible. I'm a beer girl personally and I sat staring at their refrigerated beer section for probably a good 25 minutes before being able to make a selection. So many things I've never heard of and all looked delicious. I saw one of the associates helping another customer near by and he was so friendly and really eager to help them find what they were looking for or at least something as close as possible. The cashier was incredibly friendly and personable. I'll definitely visit this place again, I did like the overall experience more than I have at Total Wine. And keep your eyes peeled!
