Wow! Super fun place! Love the decor...very cozy speakeasy vibe. I felt like we were hanging at a friends house who plays cool music, serves good food and amazing drinks...very relaxing after being on the road for 7 hours. Savannah was our bartender and she was very sweet. She greeted us when we came in and was attentive even tho she was busy...on a Monday night. We ordered a couple of Bees Knees, and Old Fashion, Brie/Pesto bites and the charcuterie tray. Everything was great! If you are looking for a place to chill with some friends or take a date date...this is the place. We will definitely mark this place for a return visit!

We happened upon The Office by chance while I was working in Reno the past 7 days. We visited here twice and were very impressed by the unique decor and how well they take pride in crafting you your favorite drink. Trust me, you will get more bang for your buck here for the same type of drink made in the SL casino. That was our experience anyway. If you happen to hit the happy hour, it's an even more amazing deal. We love finding spots like this to support the local flare wherever we can. This would be a great spot to meet up with friends and enjoy a beverage or two. All their drinks are hand crafted with excellent ingredients, and they even offer several beers on tap as well as several wines. This place is near the Truckee River downtown and very close to other restaurants, all within walking distance! Give this place a try, you won't be dissatisfied.

Came by for a quick drink on a Saturday evening around 6pm. The inside has a cool office vibe with bookcases, fake fireplaces, dark colors, red curtains, leather chairs, eclectic decorations, and even a hidden sliding bookshelf door. They have a cocktail menu that is full of a variety of options, I love that they even have some hot cocktails! They also have beer and wine to choose from. I was looking for a mocktail, the bartender made me a pretty pink drink which mostly consisted of soda water and dragonfruit syrup. It was light, refreshing, and just what I was looking for. My husband got a whiskey ginger and my friend got an espresso martini! We all liked our drinks and thought they were appropriately priced. We enjoyed being here for a chill evening to really appreciate the atmosphere, it was very different than when we have come during packed bar crawls in the past. This is a great spot to swing by for a drink when strolling around downtown!

Hughes and Porter is located across the street from Our Bar and shares a wall with Sierra taphouse. This bar is quirky and has an old fashioned feel. I have been there times now and have been impressed each time. The first was on a reno wine walk. The sangria they were pouring was delicious. Not too sweet. The second time I came in was on date night. My man and I stopped in for some drinks before a dinner reservation. I told the bartender that I love prohibition-era cocktails and he recommended that I try a drink called The Last Chance. I am glad I did! It was delicious and strong! The third time I went was to order another Last Chance. This bar has a relaxed and fun vibe. A great place to gather with a group or come for a romantic date. Definitely give this place a try.

Cheap drinks for happy hour, good vibes, friendly bartender. This has been our regular spot every Thursday now and I love how homey it feels.

Free long drinks and can huggers tonight.

Came here with a couple of friends last night cause a homie was performing. This is a nice chill hangout bar. Matt the owner truly is a cool dude. Interacts with all his guests and asks if everything is fine. Also covid capacity was also being enforced so that was good. Service here is a1 and the environment was nice chill and vibey. Good place to get a drink with a couple of friends and listen to some music. Overall good experience here.

Wow. Combination of speakeasy and a private club. Friendly patrons, friendly staff, underpriced drinks. Two thumbs up. If you end up with Savannah or Marla as a bartender you've made it to heaven.

My rant..I'm not from the area so I had NO idea what this place was when I walked by. It looked cute so my husband, myself and child walked up the steps and they sat outside while I went to check it out and see if this was a bar/club/ restaurant. I walked inside and instantly got the death glare from an employee. I instantly said omg I take it this place isn't kid friendly.. he rudely said no. I wanted to clarify and confirm even outside ? He said no. I apologized and they left but the vibe and way he said it was definitely off putting. My sister and I decided to stay for a drink while my husband/child went to walk around. Usually I don't give bad costumer service a chance.. but I realllllllly wanted a drink that one of those others customers were drinking. If this place had better costumer service. It would be a 5

While there, I picked up the binder containing the Whiskies list. Oh, my fricking Stars and Stripes...the whiskies list....! Was... Extensive. Neat Whisky Bar is a concept bar within the Terrace Lounge. I'm not even sure Yelp allows that,…read morebut we'll see. Who says the only thing that matters is material. It goes something like this. Unless you look for it, it's Terrace Lounge, a corny casino cocktail lounge with some corny, terrible lounge singer. Most people there are visiting gamblers. They don't give a shit about craft cocktails or esoteric Scotches or bourbons. They order a gin and tonic or Maker's Mark and call it a night. But if you look carefully, you discover Neat Whisky Bar, and voila, it's suddenly a cool, hip whisky bar with 150 whiskies on the shelf. I guess it's pretty hipster that the bar is so obscure it has no material existence and Yelp may not even allow it to be reviewed. Wow, that's pretty hipster. I don't even think Chapel has that many whiskies although I keep imploring them to list their goddamn liquor. You know people just order whatever the hell is popular and corporate like Bushmills, Jameson, Maker's Mark. Those asshats at Chapel have Elmer T Lee and Rowan's Creek, but you'd never know unless you ask them. Anyhow, much applause to these guys for listing their whiskies and even better, at the back of the menu they provide a pretty decent short review of dozens of their whiskies. EVERY bar should do that. Educate your customers! I never knew so many Irish whiskies use bourbon barrels. Also, it's spelled whisky if it's from Canada or England and whiskey if it's from Ireland or America. It's called Scotch if it's from Scotland. No, it's not bourbon if it's from Kentucky. It's bourbon if it's made according to the rules (at least 51% corn, aged in new charred-oak barrels, made in America, bottled at 80 proof) so you can make Nevada bourbon if you wanted. The prices tend to be on the high side for Reno like $9.50 for a Maker's and $8 for Buffalo Trace. They say they pour 2 oz which I guess makes up for it, although most bartenders if they like you will pour 2 oz. The only really rare bourbon they have is the Pappy 15 year for $18, although they do have a lot of independent bourbons, surprising for a casino that prides itself on corporate bullshit beer and liquor. They have awful and small ice. I wouldn't get anything on the rocks here. They only had several cocktails listed and not many classic cocktails. I get the idea they're flirting with change but not making any commitment. Besides the people smoking at the bar and not giving a sh t that there were 150 whiskies, the only real annoyance was the goddamn singer who was virtually screaming and screeching. It was unbearable. Then she started singing Christmas songs and I had to leave. Christmas songs are terrible enough sung well, sung terribly, they're a form of torture.

We ordered the Imperial Japanese Chicken Wings, the Frenchified Burger, and an order of poutine. The star of the meal was the chicken wings with the wasabi ranch dipping sauce. The seasoned shoestring fries served alongside were also excellent. The burger was very good, but it was essentially meat, sauce, and cheese. I like a little freshness on my burgers, so I was missing some lettuce and tomato. Fortunately, I substituted a salad for the fries and ended up piling most of it onto the burger. Next time, I'll just ask for those toppings to be added. The poutine, however, didn't quite live up to the versions I've had elsewhere. I'm not sure if they used white cheddar curds, but they were almost completely melted instead of retaining that signature squeaky texture. The gravy was just okay, and I don't think shoestring fries are the best choice for poutine since they don't hold up as well under the toppings. Overall, I'd definitely come back--especially for the wings and another burger.
