You can tell they are trying very hard to change the image that was left from being poorly ran in the past. The employees are very outgoing and aim to please. The store has a lot of product to offer. How ever browsing the store is difficult due to constricted space. It's nice to have a personable experience over the today standard of Corporate America. While settling the bill I mentioned I always wanted a "big loop" lever for the rifle, allowing me to use gloves on those cold early morning hunts. They said they actually had the part and could install it right then and still test & ship that day, so I went for it. da Goods: Just about 3 weeks after I 1st shipped it, I was standing in my living room working the newly smoothed action and admiring the large loop lever that really changed the profile of the rifle... soooo cool - the Rifleman spin doesn't quite work (or maybe I need more practice!). I just gave em' away and forgot about it. I've purchased other ammunition here that was fine. So a couple weeks ago I bought three boxes of 10mm 220 grain .Hi-Tek coated Hard Cast ammunition. It won't cycle in my pistol, in fact it jammed a live round in the chamber. EPIC FAIL. I called and spoke with Justin who told me (A) I should have read more before I bought it from them and (B) They will not refund my cabbage because there is nothing wrong with their product nor will they replace it though I've been a long time customer. I will get rid of anything Underwood and never buy anything from these cheaters again. Shame on them! I suggest if you buy ammunition unless you prefer defective ammo, you shop someplace else, like say Double Tap or Buffalo Bore.

We bought two different Glock 9mm pistols for conceal carry. They gave us special guidance to help my wife find a semi-automatic pistol that she could easily rack and fit her hand size well. They helped us navigate Illinois' onerous FOID requirements and had our guns waiting after the IL delay period. They also held back 9 mm ammo for also after there was a run on ammo with the covid pandemic and summer rioting to ensure we had ammo after buying the guns. I had previously tried to buy the guns at Gander Mountain and I waited over an hour for one person to wait on me who was not nearly as knowledgable and the prices were significantly higher at Gander Mountain even with the Sam's Club discount there. This is the only place I will buy guns and ammo in Southern Illinois.

I was looking for stadium seats (the kind you put on bleachers) for grandparents, and found some of the best I've ever seen, steel and heavy-duty canvas construction. I made two trips, and each time a member of the staff (all of whom appear college-aged) greeted me at the entry and pointed me in the right direction. The second visit, I signed up for the rewards card, which I probably should have done my first visit, and discovered I could have saved some $.
