I have never been disapoointed in Lee's Tailors. Very, Very professional and they always do an excellant job. I have had general alterations as well as difficult alterations done for example Prom Dresses, etc. All have been done perfectly. They stand behind their work 100%. I have taken items here a couple of times before and received good service and quality work. However, the last pair of pants I took to have the waist and seat taken-in was done horribly wrong. I have owned businesses in the past and understand that sometimes things get overlooked and normally go back to work with the company and resolve the issue. However, this was so bad that there is no way someone could not have noticed the poorest quality of work. I will never return. read more

Very disappointed with both, the job and the attitude. I have been going to this place for a few years, and over the last year the quality of their work deteriorated. Even a simple job like closing the hem or taking in the sides of a skirt couldn't be done accurately anymore: noticeably uneven hem, uneven seams resulting in bumpy hip lines, the color of the thread not matching the color of the fabric. They really won't care! They probably cared in the past. And now it even takes some discussion for them to agree to make improvements. At my latest visit, the second attempt brought somewhat better results, still not the quality you would expect from professional tailors. read more

I just tried Lee's Tailor Shop for the first time because they were recommended to me and they were a little cheaper then where I normally go in Brier Creek. Well I guess you get what you pay for and I will never go back there again. I had three pants hemmed and that was done ok but the real issue came with the two dresses I needed taken in. One of them they managed to rip the lace on it but when I complained I was told its delicate, that will happen. The second they could not get right. I needed it taken in while at the same time keeping the style of the dress. The first time the construction was terrible and they seemed to have a lot of trouble with the material itself. They attempted to fix it, but it still did not look good at all, it didn't look like I had gotten it taken in. I tried to speak with the seamstress about it and she was so rude to me. I wound up picking up my stuff and leaving. I also noticed while I was in the store that all their awards are from years ago. This tells me that they may have been a good shop to go to at one time but not anymore. read more

My family and I have used Lee"s Tailors for the past 11 yrs. Never had a problem. I do not know if ownership has changed hands, The young lady I usually dealt with is not there, I dropped off a black jacket to have the sleeves hemmed on May 15th. A middle aged Asian gentleman marked one sleeve only with a paperclip, not down by the cuff, but in the middle of the sleeve. He said he would work off that mark. I paid $28 & was told to pick up in 2 wks. I went back on May 29th & picked up the jacket. I was running several errands that day & did not try on the jacket until I got home. I tried the jacket and the sleeves were hanging down to my fingertips. I immediately returned to the shop and showed this gentleman the sleeve length was way to long. he argued with me saying I had approved that length. I advised he was wrong, that my arms did not shrink over the last 2 wks & i wanted the job done correctly. He took the jacket back, did not give me ticket & told me to return in 2 wks. i asked why I had to wait another 2 wks when the work was not right. He stated they were very busy and it would be 2 wks. I left the jacket. I returned on 6/12. The same Asian gentleman now could not find my jacket. An older Asian women also got involved in trying to find my jacket. It took them 30 minutes to find it. Apparently he had thrown it in some pile in the back room. The sleeves were still not done. the woman said he would take care of it on the spot. Advised I could not wait any longer and would come back the next day. The jacket was finally done. I was not happy and advised him of same. It took 4 trips to their store and 4 wks for the sleeves to be hemmed (which probably took him 20-30 minutes to do). He kept giggling and saying sorry, it is too hot outside to just let it go, dismissing me. No discount, no nothing for the inconvenience. I told him I would not be coming back. My wife went to Lee's Tailor Shop (crabree) to get a dress shortened an inch or two and the first time we went there the service was ok. My wife went again to the store, as she was unhappy with the length, since the receipt says that if you are unhappy with the results than you can come back within 2 weeks to get a free alteration for that clothing piece. So, we came back to the store within the allotted amount of time and The owner's wife Anna Niu argued with us about the words on the receipt from her own store. She was going to charge us what should have been a free alteration. She then said she would not alter my wife's gown with a very rude manner like she dont care about her customer so we left. I've worked in customer service for many years of my life and arguing with a customer is going to only backfire on you. Her inappropriate manners has permanently ruined our image of that store and we will most certainly be telling our friends and family to not go to this store. This store takes advantage that it is one of the only few tailor shops in the area but the service is just beyond terrible read more

I brought my daughter here to have her flower girl dress altered and bustled. This dress was really intricate, with lots of flowers and beading and I was really nervous about bringing it to this tailor since it seemed kind of crazy busy when I got there. However, after a few minutes someone directed us to a dressing room, etc. Granted, there was not a lot of formalities, and since I am pretty sure English was not his primary language, conversation was at a minimum. However, I wasn't really expecting a lot of friendly idle chit-chat...he very quickly pinned the dress and nodded his head when I requested the dress be bustled. Honestly, I wasn't convinced it would turn out as I hoped. But, two days later I picked up the dress and it looked STUNNING! You couldn't tell it had been altered at all and the bustle was perfect. My daughter loved it, the bride loved it and I was extrememly pleased with the outcome and the price was very reasonable. I wouldn't be turned off by the complaints about customer service...I think it's more of a cultural difference than actual rudeness. They do an AMAZING job. read more

WHY does everyone like them??? My friend recommended them because they did nice work on her wedding dress with a good price, but I had the opposite experience. First of all they price gouge you. The guy that is usually up front does not understand what you're talking about. I just needed my wedding dress hemmed and bustled...simple plain satin, no sequins or anything else. He was trying to charge me $79! I kept referring to their price chart and asking where he was getting the numbers from and he would never explain...just punch numbers on the calculator and proceed to show me the price again. It made NO sense! Finally had to ask the woman there and she quoted me $49...which made more sense. Oh but it doesn't end there. Then, I had to go back to get it bustled. The guy had told me the bustle is $15. Ok, so I go to pick it up and they charge me $45 for the bustle. The guy said that I had 3 bustles (aka. hooks). Apparently each hook was $15...but they were not up front about it at all! This dress has a very short train and is only 1 layer of satin with two light layers underneath....no dress would cost $15 to bustle if mine didn't! Just be up front!! Oh and to top it off, the bustle is off-center. NEVER going there again! read more
