The sales associate, Steve, told me to take it to Lee's and that even have same day service for an extra $5 added to my $16 fee and it was ready to pick up in less than 30 minutes. Took a family member for alterations of some clothes- coming off creedmoor road ( this is the Raleigh location at Crabtree Valley Mall on the bottom floor) - making a left onto the parking deck and another left - following the pathway will put you right in front of the entrance- especially important for accessibility-this shop is across from KanKi. Then continue on until a parking space is available. There are accessible parking spaces steps away. The staff most courteous- I really take my hat off to the manager that took her time to explain the situation regarding the alterations needed and cost & respect shown There are a few chairs available for the accessible. The changing rooms adequate. Coming in- I was greeted with smiles. Not sure if all the team were English speaking but they were very kind and patient to my older family member and myself. read more

Lee's did a great job on all of the pieces I brought. It was pretty crowded but they moved through the line quickly. They did forget to fix one seam that had split that I asked to be repaired, but I am going to bring it back to see if they will fix it. I thought the prices were reasonable too which is great. The last thing I want is to have to pay for an expensive hem after purchasing a clothing item. I recommend and will be back! read more

SO good! Took a pair of jeans that were too long in that had a slit at the bottom in the front. They shortened them by 2" & were able to keep the original seam! They opened the slit a few inches too so that it looked the same. I can't even tell a difference looks wise & they fit perfect now!!! 10/10!! read more

Very quick service and good craftsmanship! I was very pleased with the work. A little logistically confusing when many people are waiting to try clothes on for the tailors to mark. It's such a small space with only a couple changing rooms and no clear space for people to wait their turn except out in the mall walkway. But everyone was super nice and helpful. I've been bringing alterations here for a decade. they recently changed management. i paid over $25 to have a dress cut off. picked it up took it home hung it up didn't think about it until it was time to put it on for my function weeks later. they hadn't done it. i took it back and was argued with and told that was impossible. there was a line and i finally told them I didn't appreciate my honesty being questioned--i continued to pay for outrageous alteration's i was a loyal customer. in front of at least 6 patrons they told me i lied. I was truly taken back. i will never set foot in there business again. read more

Do NOT go here!!! If I could give a lower rating I would! My private tailor closed and last Summer I brought a shirt to just be taken down the sides. I paid and discovered at home nothing had been actually sewn and I took it back in, along with another shirt and 2 new bras ordered off Etsy, custom made in the Ukraine, last week. These bras were teeny tiny with a 1/5 string band" rib band, and a little lace as the cups, only 5" across. I weigh 85 pounds. The seamstress took a little off the band. As I came back the following week to pick up the 4 items, (of which 3 required payment), as I pulled $44 out, $24 for shirts and $10 for tiny bras, she said "that will be $74.92! I said "excuse me?" I said "the shirt was $24.. you have made a mistake. Taking in a 1/5" band is NOT $50!!!!! My granddaughter could do that!" I said "you can toss them!!" They are reported to the Better Business Bureau for price gouging. read more

Solid tailor shop located in the mall. I've only used them for hemming pants, so I can't really speak to the reset of their services right now. This location is convenient if you want to get something hemmed that you just bought at the mall. You can head on over and get it done ASAP vs bringing it home and letting your pants sit on the counter for a month before you have a chance to bring them out to get hemmed. The employees were friendly and they had a fast turnaround time of just a day or two. While I was waiting at the shop I saw people bring in a variety of clothing items so it seems like they are use to doing it all. The shop is located conveniently on an end unit right by an entrance. If you park in the garage by Kanki that is the fastest way to get to the shop. Will update my review if I head back in to get something more in-depth done at the tailor shop! read more

I came to Lee's Tailor shop after hearing good things about them. I had a thrifted ball gown covered in beading that I needed hemmed. They helped me figure out the right amount to cut off the bottom, and I was very excited to wear it. The unfortunate and frustrating part was that even after asking them multiple times to please make sure to tie off any loose threads that the beading was threaded onto and also make sure that the bottom threads where the hemming was would also be tied or sewn closed, they did not. They did not even sew the fabric that they cut at the bottom so that it would be properly hemmed. It was still jagged from the scissors, and the beading was falling off the entire night I wore it. Very disappointed and will not be going back. Not worth $70 something dollars to cut some fabric that I could have done myself. read more

They'll do fine if you want to just get your pants hemmed. I will no longer visit for anything else. After they botched an attempt at lengthening the sleeves on my jacket (one sleeve ended up significantly longer than the other, both sleeves flared out at the end, and in general the workmanship was terrible), I took the items to another tailor who informed me that Lee's seamstresses are paid by the garment rather than by the hour, as at other tailor shops. This high-volume incentive results in service that feels rushed and impersonal as well as craftsmanship that is clearly sub-par. To their credit, they did not put up a fight when I pointed out the errors, and they offered to correct the mistakes within an hour. They may have done a fine job on the second attempt, but I never gave them the chance - something that simple should be done well the first time (or at least not done quite so ineptly). It is clear to me that Lee's is comfortable trading off their historical reputation and no longer takes pride in their work. read more

Love the convenience of this place --- right inside Crabtree Mall. They are quick without sacrificing quality. For an extra dollar per item, they will even tailor it in an hour. I buy my clothes at Crabtree and take them here to have them hemmed or altered while I continue my shopping. Seriously, the convenience is amazing and I have never had a problem with their work. Last week, I even took a dress to have it hemmed and when I tired it on, the girl said she really like the length it was and I agreed. She actually talked me out of having work done because it was already the right length. I wore it to my son's wedding and I was so glad I hadn't had it hemmed. I got my favorite dress and favorite work jeans fixed here. I needed a new zipper on my dress and there was a huge hole on the inner thigh of my jeans. Here sums up my before lees tailor catastrophe and how they saved my wedding dress. I bought my dress in February 2014 and it fit me perfectly. Low and behold I try it on 2 months before my wedding that is in October 2014 and I can't even get it zipped past my hips. Panic mode!! I did some research and figured out I could add a corset and have the seams let out but it would cost me at least 500 bucks at David's and all these work from home seamstress were booked up. My wedding planner recommended lees tailor at Crabtree mall where she had success with her other brides 'dress disasters. I brought my dress in, the ladies circled my dress while I'm wearing it for about 5 min and then said "we can fix this". Sounded too good to be true. All I had to do was go to Joanns fabrics down the street, match my dress to 2 yards of fabric and they added a corset. They also let out 2.5 inches from my waist and back side. After 3 fittings and tweaks here and there PLUS hemming the bottom to fit my very comfortable flat shoes my dress is saved!! And for less than 200 bucks. I can't thank them enough. They have so many bad reviews on here and I was only going by blind faith in my wedding planner but I am so glad I came here. These ladies were so kind and they work fast. Thank you! read more

I just tried Lees tailors for the first time and brought in four shirts. Two of them came back good. One was too long and one was too short. The owner called me and offered to pay for their mistake.
