I took it there shortly after taking it out of the wash and they were able to get it back to good and new. I recently had a tear in a beautiful silk and chiffon dress. They fixed the tear and I can't even find where the tear was now! I give it 4 out of 5 stars because it's a little pricey. Slacks and blouses are $6.00. Dresses range from $10 - 12 to be cleaned. The…read morequality of their service has become inconsistent, and when garments are ruined the owners take no responsibility. In July, I took in a tailored, three-piece suit for which I paid more than $1,400. They ruined the coat, which cost $800 alone. It was returned to me with stains that were not there when I brought it in as part of the full suit. I brought back the coat and accepted a complimentary recleaning. This time, I examined it on premises and found small holes that were not there before. Instead of admitting something had gone wrong, the owner Ben Hilker, took more than a week to have the coat "analyzed" and then claimed the damage was the result of insects harming the wool content. I reject that because Brothers' own policy is to examine garments at intake and note any flaws. None were noted because there were no flaws when the coat came in. It's only after it was twice cleaned by Brothers that damage appeared. I firmly believe that the so-called "analysis" is simply a ploy to avoid reimbursing me for a very expensive garment.

This had been my go-to shop for alterations for years, but unfortunately I'll have to find a…read moredifferent place going forward. The biggest issue was the owner's attitude. Even when I was polite and simply wanted to work toward a solution, she became very defensive instead of acknowledging that an alteration didn't turn out as expected. Sometimes alterations don't work the first time, and I would have appreciated hearing, "We tried, it didn't work--let's see how we can make it right." Instead, she seemed more focused on defending the original alteration, even when it clearly hadn't resolved the issue. I also had to return for redos because I found pins left in my clothes after alterations, which had never happened in my previous experiences there. It also seemed like there may be a communication gap between the person taking the measurements and the seamstress completing the work. It's disappointing because this was my trusted alteration shop for years, but after this experience, I won't be returning.

IT WAS SEWN ON BACKWARDS and had a very pleasant note from the sewer that they would not fix the patch again. I asked the woman working for a refund and she instructed me to go to their Lead Mine location because that's where the owner was and she's the only one who can process a refund. The location of the shop is inconvenient but the quality is HORRIBLE. I will definitely be contacting the BBB.
