I showed up for my 12pm tour and was told by the guide's room mate that the guide was out of town and he didn't understand why an appointment would've been booked. Frankly, I don't understand it either. I have reached out to get my $45 back. I felt that this may have been a scam, and I'm pretty sure it is since everyone else's reviews had them meeting up at other places while the confirmation I received said to meet up at the address provided, which is literally someone's house. Sorry for busting in your weekend, room mate. But I definitely want a refund since I was able to book and pay for a tour that wasn't going to happen due to the tour guide being "out of town".

The rental place is a bit of a walk and although we filled out the waivers prior, we were asked to do so again. There seemed to be a technical difficulty with the website not registering properly so our check in process was a bit lengthy. Overall, the employees were great and told us which direction we could follow. Eventually we ended up just us 2 (separate kayaks) and I'm so glad we brought a portable speaker because we were able to curate the vibes on such a romantic day. The views were immaculate and I even told some coworkers about it in case they were interested in purchasing. Can't complain on the experience!

They even let us stay out an extra 30-40 minutes, which we really appreciated. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. They provided free water bottles, dry bags, and even complimentary snacks. At the end of our trip, we were surprised with free ice cream, which was such a nice touch! The kayaks were clean and in great condition, and the staff was very helpful in getting us set up and answering our questions. We had a wonderful time paddling through Las Olas and Fort Lauderdale, enjoying the beautiful scenery and waterways. For only $6 per car, you can enjoy the creek, walk over to the beach, rent kayaks/paddleboards, grab food, drinks, and the most addicting slushies! I was definitely nervous the first time coming here alone with my son, but now I feel like a regular and it's become one of those places I genuinely love making memories at. The area is clean, relaxing, and the sweetest lady running the food stand makes the experience even better. A true South Florida hidden gem that I hope becomes a staple in my son's childhood.

You begin in George English Park (you can use the tennis court restrooms to change and such) and cruise the inter coastal for as long as you like. We SUP'd for 2 hours (it's a good core workout) and enjoyed the great views of all of the different types of boats and houses. Aileen met us upon return and took care of the clean up. I've been…read moreSUPing for over 10 years, I completed ACA level 1 and 2 SUP instructor training previously, and I taught basic SUP myself for 4 years. I needed to renew my ACA instructor certification and wanted to get WPA instructor certification, so I did an ACA Level 1 and 2 SUP workshop and WPA level 1 SUP instructor training/certification with TFY. Meghan is the best SUP instructor/instructor trainer I've had. She's obviously very knowledgeable, but more importantly, she's also awesome at conveying that knowledge. We covered a huge amount of information in the ACA L1/2 workshop, but she made it manageable and easily understandable. The welcome letter she sends prior to class is very helpful and lets you know what to bring, the schedule, and what to expect. Her videos are also extremely helpful to watch beforehand. I thought the ACA workshop would be largely review for me, but I was surprised by how much I learned. She's also very upbeat, encouraging, and patient, and her low-pressure approach creates the perfect environment for learning. She taught high school math for 9 years, and I think her background in education plus her SUP knowledge and skills make her an outstanding instructor and instructor trainer. I'm looking forward to returning for ACA L1/2 instructor certification training.
