Not only were Huy's prices actually reasonable, he took the time to understand the request, ask questions, and make his own professional recommendations while other stores sent me back 1 line email replies, which felt like pulling teeth just to get basic information. We ended up working with Huy at JASK for 3 different print jobs across 2 different designers. Huy patiently educated us on fonts, bleeds, crop marks, paper thickness and quality, and pricing, helping us understand what we needed to produce what we wanted. We couldn't have been more happy with how everything turned out on our budget. Highly recommend for any printing needs!

The customer service here leaves a lot to be desired. I went by to drop off a box of books that i…read moresold online. I didn't have any packing tape at home and there was none out for customer usage that I could see. I already had my shipping label, so all I was missing was the tape. There was one person there, who i'm assuming was being assisted with photos, and two employees. I stood there, holding a heavy box for probably close to 10 minutes, and they never acknowledged me. Both employees looked at me and ignored me. Neither said anything about being right with me, or it would just be a minute or anything. They never said a word, just ignored me. And I stood there holding a heavy box the entire time. Then I noticed the sign about their "full service surcharge" which basically states that if one of their employees has to do something for you, you have to pay for it. Since I already had my shipping label, I was not about to pay for them to tape my box. So I scanned my label and dropped my box in their chute. Next thing I know, i'm about to get into my car, and one of the employees comes out and starts yelling at me because my box wasn't taped. His exact words were that it was all over the place. He told me that I had to wait for them. I responded that I did wait for 10 minutes, and they ignored me. He just kept yelling at me that next time I can't do that. So here's the thing. I am sorry that my box made a mess, but the thing is that I doubt that happened. The box was packed pretty tight, and it did not drop that far. So while a couple of books probably fell off the top, it wouldn't have gone all over the place. Basically, there should have been tape out for the self service they push so hard, like every other shipping store in the area. Otherwise, don't threaten to charge a fee for shipping a box and don't ignore your customers. I did not appreciate being yelled at and humiliated in public over their lack of customer service. Next time I sell books online, i'll go to the FedEx store in Millbrae.

Compare that to the company-owned FedEx store on 4th Ave -- considerably larger footprint, almost certainly higher rent -- and you have to wonder how they compete on the retail side of things. Bottom line: I'll happily walk two extra blocks for this UPS Store every time.
