We were looking to swap from a larger/national vendor to a local printer and over the past 6 or so months this business has only delivered home runs. Things are extremely tidy for a print facility and they've gone out of their way to deliver items by our sometimes unreasonable deadlines or surprise us by dropping our materials off at a remote location with no extra charge. Professional printing services, great quality, and friendly service are three main principles in Paper & Ink. I needed a small batch of booklets printed on heavy matte paper. I've tried multiple places, but none of them were committing to do it in a timely manner. Moreover, I had to wait for days to get pricing and other details figured out. This wasn't the case here in Paper and Ink. Dave, the designer, directed me to Mike right away. We've figured out the pricing and logistics pretty fast. Meanwhile, he checked my file and made sure the graphic is good. Mike was able to give me the rough timeline on the spot. They moved quickly: I had a printed sample in my hands by the end of the day! The printing quality and the paper were really good. I've tried to print the same file in other places and I didn't get good results. Typically, the issue was with laser printers which produced dark pictures and uneven printing on both sides of the paper. Even though it was the same file, my booklet graphics looked great on paper: Same as on the computer screen! Mike and Dave turned around this job in a timely manner, which is always a pleasant experience. This review is like 2 years overdue. Paper & Ink are the prime example of why people should support local businesses. They give the best service, expert advice (in my case often in emergencies), and are so kind/pleasant to work with. I try to do all my printing here because Mike and his team do such a great job and always offer reasonable prices. We do quite a bit of printing for our non-profit school parent teacher organization (meaning we don't have a lot of money to spend) and every time he gives us a generous price. From catalogs, to tri-folds, to beautiful menus, they've done it all. All it takes is an email or phone call and sometimes my desperate voice of "can I have this today?" and there it is. Not to mention they're right off the 101 freeway so it makes it easy to go and talk in person if need be or do a quick pick up. They've also been around the area for a while so they know who else to contact if you need specialty items like unique envelopes, etc. Definitely work with them, you won't regret the easy and drama free experience. read more
