This is one of my favorite little coffeehouses to visit. It's quite quant yet artfully decorated. When I go I try to limit the use of electronics and to just take my time and appreciate a moment of peacefulness. My favorite is the cappuccino. As well as the hot chocolate and of course the regular coffee. They have a card program so your tenth drink will be on the house. A locally owned business is always good, one that serves items from other locally owned business is even better. One portion of their food menu comes from Myra's Dionysus - I always forget the others but I do recall a generous selection of options to choose from. The library is a nice touch as well. The tabletops are made of old rulers, and the general feel of the place is from the old times. For me it's such a great experience going! read more

Great place serving Deeper Roots coffee and pastries from local vendors. The tile and decor alone is worth a visit to this charming shop in Covington's historic district. In warm weather make sure take advantage of the porch and deck area. The inside can get a bit cozy when the weather is cool. There is always plenty of street parking. read more

Great ambiance! Lovely little place to have a relaxed cup of coffee and maybe a piece of cranberry walnut cake.

This cozy little cafe is tucked away behind a larger building. You'll find the entrance through an iron gate on 7th street. Cross the garden (sprinkled with a few places to enjoy your beverage) to find a distinctive and lovely little cafe. Prices are far less than the large chains and the coffee is delicious. There are also baked goods and soups available for a light meal. I tried the spinach and feta croissant with my cafe au lait and was quite pleased with both. The Left Bank is the product of many years work by a Covington family. The time was well spent. The space was created with reclaimed materials and features mosaic artwork created by the owners. I was especially charmed by the yardstick parquet tables. I'll be a regular here and I'm sure I won't be the only one. read more

I live right across the street, so I've watched the progress of this place for quite a few months. Imagine my delight when I was walking past, and they were open! Mind you, I have waited for what seemed like YEARS to get my hands on a good Chai, so the bar was very high. What a great little place! The owner's daughters are the Baristas, and greeted my friend and I with smiling faces. My friend got a black coffee, I tried the iced Chai, along with a yummy brown sugar scone. My friend got a chocolate thingy that she raved about. Well, I found myself jonesing for another caffeine fix two days later, and returned for a hazelnut mocha. This is my "usual", which I have had many, many times, and this was quite possibly one of the best. The atmosphere is comfy and laid-back. The owners are super nice, and most importantly, the coffee and nosh are yummy! Visit soon! Fantastic little coffee shop! Coffee is excellent, and well-priced, but the great thing about this place is it's charm and ambiance. With welcoming flowers and relaxed front porch, the building has the old Covington construction, and this place has been beautifully remodeled on the interior to keep the classic style and marvelous recovered woodwork from long ago. Today was my first visit at this coffee-shop! I wanted a coffee and bagel and found them through yelp. Accidentally, I realized I would make it there just on time as they close, so I called to be sure of the closing time and the owner (A man) said "We will wait a moment, come on through!" I got there just at 2pm. I ordered an iced hazelnut, mocha, coffee, and 3 bagels - plain, cinn-raisin, and everything, toasted and with cream cheese for my family. They were all delicious and the coffee was great. The male owner was the most welcoming and sweetest! The atmosphere is warm and I love the decor! I will be back and look forward towards the outside seating in warmer weather! read more

Cute coffee shop close to hotels and bridge. Great seating area outside in the front and also along the side and back in good weather...really cute. Really cute and unique bathroom! My Mocha was ok...they have stopped carrying almond milk, so I had to have coconut milk in the mocha which usually ruins it for me. I wish they would bring back the almond milk so I could get a better opinion of their mocha. The chocolate croissant was probably the best I have every had! Left Bank is adorable and so cozy! Think blend of modern and county kitchen. They serve Deeper Roots coffee (yum and local!), smoothies, teas, and have a variety of baked goods. They also serve soups from Myra's. On one side, there's a $1 book wall! There's a lovely front porch and back patio for the nicer days. The interior is tiny, but would be perfect for reading or catching up with a friend if you can snag a table. The owners are incredibly nice. Support your local coffee shop! read more

Cute little shop! I was in the area and saw this place when I was walking to my appointment. I stopped by to get a drink and asked the workers there what was their favorite. I went with the iced coffee that was recommended. I got one pump of vanilla added which made it very good. I thought it was a little pricey ($3.30) for an iced coffee so it isn't something I would get everyday. I love local coffee shops so splurging every once in a while isn't so bad. read more

Went here last week for the first time with a friend since a lady at work had been telling her to come here for awhile. It's a cute little place with a hipstery vibe, we sat outside on the inviting patio. I ordered a simple vanilla cappuccino which was light and delicious, with a rosemary scone which was obviously home made, and also delicious. I definitely want to come back here again. read more

I have been to quite a few coffee shops in Northern Kentucky and can say that Left Bank Coffee has the best the area has to offer. They get their beans from Deeper Roots, a high quality local coffee roaster, while the competition gets lower quality beans from elsewhere. Left Bank offers your typical array of espresso drinks and teas at a reasonable price. While their coffee beans are top notch, the drink builds have some room to improve. But if you don't want head across the river for good coffee, look no further. They also offer some tasty baked goods and tasty vegetarian and vegan soups from Myra's. I have not had soup from here, but Myra's is great so I assume it is here too. My only wish on the food was that their bagels were locally baked and fresh with better cream cheese than Philadelphia's. As a setting to hang out in and work, read, or chat, it's nice. There isn't a lot of indoor seating, maxing out at 15 seats across 4 tables, but plenty outdoors. It's a family run business and everyone who works there is friendly. read more

Jackie Sloane has brought us a little bit of "ciel" in this hide away at Greenup and Seventh, a stones throw from the luscious gardens of the Baker Hunt. Do yourself a favor, go before the garden fades for the season, it is part of the "I can't believe I'm not dreaming" experience of this delightful nook. And the croissants - we are ever in search of a companion for our lattes that are not greasy, not chewy - and these folks, in their wisdom, have chosen Savor to bake for them. Also Shadeau. I stopped in here to get a quick coffee and I ended up walking out with a bag of homemade chocolate graham crackers and a homemade dog treat. The space is really well designed and there's plenty of seating both inside and outside. They use all green products so you don't feel bad leaving with a to go cup in hand. Friendly staff, they are very warm and welcoming. I love this cozy coffee house. They have unique decor and atmosphere. In the summer they have a beautiful and touching display outside that is a must see. They also have a burn book that is so fun to flip through and add to, giving people new places to check out or inspiration or kind words. The coffee is pretty good, they make a good latte.
