I was staying at a hotel nearby and woke up in desperate need of a latte. I also needed some peace and quiet so I could get some work done. That's when I took to Yelp and discovered this coffee shop right around the corner. I made my way there and I'm not sure why, but I expected a little more from the coffee shop. It was pretty basic in my opinion. The space itself was rather dark and gave me a corporate vibe. It just didn't seem to have a lot of personality. I asked about seasonal options and they didn't have anything worth trying. And I'm always down to try the special concoctions coffee shops have going on throughout the year. I ended up getting an iced lavender latte, found a table in the corner by the window, and cranked out some calls. My latte was good, which is why I'm giving them a three star instead of a four. A small coffee shop inside a hotel. Very basic seating arrangements, but kind of irrelevant because this is much more of a grab and go type of spot than a sit down establishment. They do coffee, bagel sandwiches, some assorted pastries and they also have a snack fridge in the back with some different options. Bagel sandwich was good. Pumpkin Spice Latte was better than I gave them credit for. Service was also very fast for two employees on a Sunday dealing with a stampede of fans getting ready to go to the Bengals game. Quick serving coffee shop with a nice staff. I didn't buy food, but I did get their coffee two mornings in a row. Personally, I'm not a fan self serve coffee servers so that was a bummer to see. I sucked it up and really enjoyed their Night Rider dark roast. I brought a bag of that home and have been enjoying it daily. (They will grind the beans for you) My son enjoyed their hot chocolate and I thought their cortado's were ok. They weren't as creamy as I like, but the espresso pickup was strong and appreciated. On day two I went with a latte to avoid their self serve coffee. It was creamy, more on the dark side and easy drinking. I couldn't get into all of their blends, the names just screamed too sweet. (Campfire S'mores, Cinnamon Cookie, Highlander Grogg/Caramel and buttery nut) ..... The good news is they do have the basics and if your a dark roast fan give the Night Rider a try! Had the pleasure of going to The Kidd Coffee Company this morning for a cup of coffee and a bite to eat with a friend before leaving town and it was a wonderful experience. When I walked in, the line looked a little long but it honestly went pretty fast which was great. I ordered an Apple Chai Latte which was absolutely delicious and an Asiago bagel with cream cheese which was also very good. I honestly don't typically order hot beverages but I do love seasonal drinks and am very happy I went with the Apple Chai. Also, it was really nice because they had quite a few tables so it was nice to know seating wasn't a concern while we waited to order. I work in the tower and find myself getting a coffee from the wonderful ladies here on a regular basis. They are always super friendly and smiling! They also get business done!!! At times, I walk up and there is a lengthy line but that never deters me because they are always on top of it and keep the line moving very well! Today, the cup cracked as I was walking into the elevator with coffee running out. I quickly walked it back to them for help. She gave me some napkins for the coffee split on my hand, and they made me a new one immediately, apologizing for the issue (although there was no apology needed, cups be cups sometimes). I paid around $11 for my iced coffee and breakfast sandwich, which I think is comparable to other places. The staff were patient and helpful. It's interesting that the cafe is connected to a hotel, but that would be nice for guests of the hotel. The cafe is clean and nice. There are some quick snacks to grab as well. The nutty irishman iced coffee was a 10/10. The flavor was great and not too syrupy or bitter. The sandwich was a great bite to keep me energized before my workout class. Nice little coffee shop in a Hilton lobby. I was staying nearby in a Marriott property, but walked here one morning for coffee, as I wanted to go for a walk and wanted decent coffee. Stopped in for a quick cup of coffee before a show. The shop is clean, modern, and has a homey, sort of comfortable feel to it. The Barista was completely amazing. He was holding down the fort, three orders in, two waiting to place an order, and he was still cheerful, smiling, and asked us to be patient, he'd be right with us. He certainly was. He was knocking the orders out as he chatted with us, and swiftly made two lattes. We were in and out in ten minutes or less. The lattes were perfectly made - not too sweet, and he put cinnamon in my wife's, giving it just a little hint of a bite afterwards. Of course I had to try the popular Cincinnati coffee chain while in Cincinnati! It was very much giving Starbucks vibes, but in a way... better! They had a huge variety of drinks to choose from, especially from their "secret menu." I got the Tuxedo iced latte ($5) and my friend got their Cinnamon Swirl iced latte ($5). Both of them were very yummy and priced well. It is definitely a lot stronger and less sweet than Starbucks, which I prefer. It is located inside/right next to a hotel. They have plenty of seating and great lighting. Not a place I would study or do work in, but definitely a place to get a grab and go drink. read more

This iced coffee was one of the better ones I have tried in downtown Cincinnati. They offer sandwiches on toast or bagel. I got the Ham, Egg, and Cheese sandwich without the egg. They were very accommodating on what I wanted. The ham was very tasty! The only negative thing I can say about this place is I wish they put more cheese on the sandwich.
