For a whopping $9420, and an over 3 month wait (with no updates) I got an orange plastic front door. This has been a HUGE learning experience for me, to be sure. Don't EVER purchase something before you've actually laid eyes on it. According to Katie at LeftCoast Exteriors, you get what you get and that's it's. No returns. Outta luck. Sorry, not sorry. What is wrong with these people? The excess siding materials have been left in front of the garage for 2 weeks after the job has been done!! No accountability whatsoever. Do not trust this contractor. My Father signed a contract for work on his house. After 5 month with no contract or scheduled installation date. We called to cancel work to go with someone else. They hit him wirh15% cancelation fee on the total cost of the job. Not just material. He is elderly and on a fixed income. They were not willing to budge. Once the roofers left the (and left all kinds of martials on my front yard for weeks) the project manager came out for the final inspection and payment, we went over all the issues I had with the roofing ,venting and flashing, he told we there was a warranty issue, and he would have the crew back out in a couple of days to fix the issues. [[HIGHLIGHT]]He received a job ending payment picked up the remainder of the leftovers and I haven't heard back since.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The only reason they received 2-stars is because the roof hasn't had a leak. read more

This review is based on the tactics their salespeople use. Twice now the same woman has come to my door to sell me on their products and services. Each time I have said I am not interested only to be met with a sneer, eye roll, and bitchy comment. They might be a great company but I will never use them just because of this person. So obnoxious and rude. Also, it's 2023, if people want to replace their roof, they will contact you. Stop going to people's houses and cold calling them. read more

Called Left Coast and told them I had a leak in the roof. They sent out Ron to take a look. He said they only do complete roof tear off and installations and don't do repair work. He told me to go back to the roof company who installed the roof. Nice to have an honest opinion. read more

We met with Quentin and he thoroughly went through the process, product and pricing. Then we met with Sean to set up a start date and he answered any questions that we had. The crew showed up on time and removed the old roof and prepped for the new roof. On the second day they installed the new roof. They were all very prompt and courteous. We installed a new roof and gutters on our small ranch home. Left Coast Exteriors was great to work with. Our project started with an in-home inspection of our roof and a discussion with Carlos, a sales representative. Carlos was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. This company works closely with First Security Bank to provide financing, which we ended up utilizing. The process to get financing approved was easy and smooth. Within several days of signing our contract, we were contacted by Diana, the project coordinator. Diana communicated often with us and we were able to get our project started and over within about 2 weeks of signing our contract (or was it less?? it was fast!!). It was 2 separate companies that did each component of the project; one for the roof and one for the gutters. Diana coordinated all of that for us. The crews were fast, respectful of our home, and did a great job picking up any construction shrapnel. Ask if your project may be eligible for marketing discounts. We received a discount for allowing a sign to be placed in our yard and for writing several reviews. My only complaint is that the coordination process could be smoother. We ended up needing to take a fairly significant amount of our personal time being at home to meet with different people throughout the duration of the job. After we met with the sales representative, we also had to meet with Diana, who confirmed all the measurements and materials for the project. Then we had to be here for the installation, then we did a final inspection of just the roof. There were a few things to fix, which Left Coast happily took care of, but required the roof crew to come back. Then the gutter company did their work about a week later. Then we did a final inspection of everything. In total, we ended up with 6 different meetings or times when we needed to be at our house. That's a lot of time off work if you work a standard 9-5 day job and need to come home to meet up with the contractor! When doing our final survey with the company representative, we were told that they had to come out this many times so that they could "final" the roof as soon as possible so that the bank would release the funds to them, so that they could pay their staff. I completely understand why the company wants to do it this way (they need the operating capital), but for the actual customers, it's a huge pain to have to do that many on-site meetings for multiple component projects (i.e. like ours where we did both roof and gutters). The company needing operating capital isn't really the problem of the customer, but the way they handle this process makes it that way. Overall though, the product is exactly what we wanted and the installation was done well. The communication was also excellent. We would use Left Coast again if the price was right. read more

Left Coast Exteriors leaves door hangers on front doors as they canvas neighborhoods, leaving open invitations to thieves to break in while you are away! :( Furthermore, they do NOT respect No Solicitation signs. In my book, that's a clear indicator to look elsewhere when I need goods or services. I have to say he was probably one of the most personable presentations that I've witnessed in a mighty long time but he was personable he was friendly we were very comfortable with the Clinton being in our home and I just think that if the rest of the workers are half of what he is I'm sure they must do a good job but we're still gonna get other estimates but nonetheless they work with you and they financial to if you need that and the will go out of the way to make sure their contract works for you. These guys did a wonderful job. I have a single story 3000 sq ft. home that was sided with Aluminum siding when I first purchased it. It really looked like a mobile or pre-manufactured home. I hired Left Coast Exteriors to change all the older windows (10), the siding to Pre-Color (Evening Blue) Hardie Plank, and the soffits (White). The house simply looks amazing and the attention to detail was spot on. This was a very large job because it's a very long ranch style single story home. That requires a lot of material. The guys were at my house for a couple of weeks. They found one bad piece of Plywood while stripping off the old siding and replaced it and made it look fresh and new and making sure the window was properly flashed so it doesn't happen again. They flashed all the windows even though they are under the soffits. The pictures do not do justice of how well the house came out. Spend the extra money and have the windows trimmed with Hardie to make them highlighted and stand out. It just makes it look so much better. The other reason for doing this. If you ever do have a problem with a window, it will be easy to take out without having to take down all the Hardie Plank. They simply pull off the trim pieces, pull out the window and can install a new one and then put in new trim pieces. It's thinking ahead. The gases in windows sometime escape or kids play and break a window, whatever....Maintenance is easier and cheaper in the long run. They even painted the rain gutters to match the house. Really, did an awesome job. We went outside to do a final walk around the house and I pointed out one thing and it was completely taken care of no issues asked. Make sure you talk about window trim, especially if you have an older home. Windows that I originally have in the house were as wide as the wall, new windows are not that wide. So, they will have to make a window sill. read more

We just purchased a new roof from Left Coast and were very pleased with the process. They are a small, local company that clearly cares about their customers and doing a good job. There are still some internal communication kinks for them to work out between the different departments (i.e., from sales to set up to roofers to project manager and back again). However, the work was done quickly, with aptitude, and the process was about as painless as possible. We are chuffed about our new roof and are happy we will never have to worry about it again! They did exactly what we asked of them and stayed within the quoted price in replacing our aging roof, going above and beyond in making sure the new roof was sound (including new plywood sheathing and venting as needed, sky lights and utility vents).
