I decided to try something new since I was staying in the area. The whole point of traveling is to try different things and get outside of your comfort zone. I saw pictures of Lefty's food and couldn't pass it up. I decided to go with the Cheesesteak egg rolls and the Buffalo Ranch Fries. I ordered through Grubhub. My food was delivered in a timely manner and was still hot and fresh when it got here. The restaurant forgot my chocolate custard shake which was pretty disappointing. I, of course was able to get a refund, but I was looking forward to the cold decadent treat. The egg rolls were hot, fresh, crunchy, and seasoned. The sauce that went with them was explained to be spicy. It was a touch spicy but the flavor of it was not the greatest. I would still definitely order them again if I ordered from Lefty's again in the future. The Buffalo Ranch Fries were okay. The chicken added a nice texture change to the lettuce and tomato, from the fries. The Buffalo sauce gave the food an awesome kick to it. I probably wouldn't order these again. Our cheesesteaks were really good. I do think the meat could be seasoned better. All of the photos I see of their cheesesteaks show them oozing with so much cheese. Ours were not that way. They were good but we've had better. The Cajun fries were so hot, crispy and flavorful. They didn't offer ketchup for the fries so I ran back inside to get some. The employee literally gave me 4 packets in a large bag and stapled it shut. LOL I used the bathroom while I was in here and it smelled like urine so bad! The soap didn't work and the water didn't get hot. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. This time my husband and I had; fried mushrooms, onion rings, classic cheesesteak hoagie, the Winfrey hoagie, and Superman cheesecake. That costs us $40, which we don't mind spending, if we get good food in return. First off, do yourself a favor and order the Winfrey. It's so good! (And frankly the only reason I'd go here again) However, do yourself another favor and do not order the onion rings. They always come nuke warm if not cold, and they don't taste any better than frozen ones from the store. The cheesecake was weird, it was tart almost? I'm not sure how to describe it. Don't waste your time. This review comes from other friends I know that have gone here too. The meat came out of a pan already cooked, which was the first problem. Other places normally throw raw meat on the griddle and cook it with all the onions and fixings. It's a simple process. Anyways, I carried on and paid for my food. The owner took our orders & he was so friendly, made us laugh & overall provided exceptional customer service. The cheesesteak hoagies were DELICIOUS.
