Perfectly poured and served in reusable plastic cups that some enterprising realtor had thoughtfully put her name on! We saved a couple of ours as they work well in the boat and other outside events. They also have a pool table for those of you who like that sort of thing and plenty of parking. I'm not deducting any stars for this but my only wish would be that they had some way to adjust the air conditioning temperature. It was FREEZING inside and the manager said there was no way to adjust it. I really doubted that but we had to sit in a range of seats before finding one that the air wasn't full on blowing at you! It was dark when we left so navigating those dark WI roads was all part of our evening's adventure! Worth a stop in if you can find it!

She did allow me to chug a second drink while shutting off the lights. I understand they weren't busy but your listed hours are open til 10 and it's not even 8:00. The Manager who seated us and took our order disappeared, I flagged her down, as the waitress who had taken our order, and ask when the appetizer and drink orders would be served, and was blown off by "I will Check on them" another 10 minutes no waitress/Manager, I flagged her down again ....... and again was fluffed off with I will check on them ....... three more time, I requested service some where she decided I was Her Problem, and told me so shut up or she would refuse me service, Time in now 6:46, She finally brough the Drink orders for my Son and Grand Son, Mine was not fulfilled, and the Appetizers, "Fried Pickle Chips' and a Sampler Basket was no where to be seen" Now as I said we had been traveling all day to bring business to the Community of Eagle, via the "Military History Show we were doing a presentation at, I had lost track of time, I had not had anything to eat since breakfast at 10:30 am, Now beyond being a disable Vietnam Veteran, one of the other problems I share with Vietnam Veteran is the problem of being a Type 2 Diabetic, , and I was going into a glucose crash, my blood sugars were going critical, and I was headed for a blackout if I didn't get something to eat, I again requested my Initial appetizer and drink orders, and then was thrown out of the Red Roof Station, with a medical event, related to my Type Two Diabetes by this Manager, who acting as a waitress had taken My initial order appetizer and drink orders at 6:00 PM and at 6:56 pm still not delivered our appetizer and drink order, She had finally brought my son and grand son the cokes they had ordered, but had failed to deliver the Pickle Chips, and Sampler Basket which was on the same order, and then when I question her, I am no in a glucose crash/ Nearing black out, and she tells me she is not going to serve me and to get out, Yes Good Restaurants? This Manager, failed, Failed to treat all of her customers with grace and curtesy, prompt service, and an understanding, That just maybe, She was given a chance to shine, Take Care of a Customer in Medical Distress, a Type 2 Diabetes incident, Instead, She Threw a Customer in Medically, suffering a Diabetic Blackout, onto the road to try and find a simple appetizer and drink orders, before full diabetic blackout, and a rush to find a hospital before Diabetic Coma sets in .................. Killing your customer because you were having problem in your kitchen, and back bar, refusing the life saving items he needed is not the sign of a Great Restaurant, You do not let Your Problems In The Kitchen, The Back Bar, het out to the customer on the Floor ......... Who ever was that Manager/Waitress, Thank You for making a simple problem into a critical emergency because You lost control of your customer flow, and Kitchen Back Bar, for what ever, and sending a customer with a ongoing medical emergency out on the road to try and survive the Medical Emergency .................... God watch over you, and pray that you don't kill a customer with a medical emergency that present as they are a customer in your care.

They didn't have a great selection of beer, but I guess that's not really what they do. Nothing on the bar bites type menu rocked my socks, but the space is beautiful and it feels like it is pretty much out in the middle of nowhere. While it was otherwise nothing to write home about, if I lived in the area I would definitely give it a shot for an actual meal, but I can really only speak to it as a spot for a drink.

I like a good waffle, and they had a couple of variations on the menu. I asked if it was Belgian style, with the deep pockets to capture all that extra butter and syrup, and it was. It came out nice and hot. For me it was a bit too soft, as I tend to like my waffles cooked a little crispier, similar to how I like my potato pancakes. Still very tasty. They were patient while we chatted and were not focused on the menu right away. Great service throughout the entire meal. They kept checking in to make sure I had hot water for my tea and refills of coffee. Thanks, Symara (sp?). Atmosphere: The place is small and cozy, with a counter, tables, and booths. It was about half full, with individuals and pairs spread throughout the room. You could tell this is a spot with regulars, as people were chatting between tables. The decor was festive with holiday decorations. There is a TV on the wall showing the morning news, but it did not appear to have the volume on. Near the entrance there are a couple of video poker machines. I am not a fan of those. I find them distracting to look at and annoying when someone is playing them. Overall, a good experience, and I would stop again.
